Costa Coffee in Flintshire

The address shown for this listing is the Spar shop in the centre of Buckley. If you step into that shop and look immediately to your left then there, just behind the fresh fruit section, you'll see a Costa Express machine. You can pick up a paper cup, stick in under the dispenser and then press a button to select the hot drink of your choice. You then need to carry it over to the till on the opposite side of the shop to pay for it and then take it out of the shop and either drink it while walking about or otherwise find a bench to sit on. It's strictly self service and you only have the option of a paper cup but at least being in a Spar you can buy a coffee from 7am to 11pm every day of the week. If you want a Costa coffee in a proper cup and you want to drink it sat on a chair next to a table and you also want to select from a small but overpriced range of snacks then there's a proper Costa Coffee cafe in the shopping centre just over the road. That branch has its own listing on TripAdvisor so there's no need to comment further about it in this review.

Lovely staff, will visit here again, glad to see the old florists is being used. Toilets were clean too

Call in couple times a week staff are great always welcoming coffee fantastic prices very reasonable. Coffee shop itself in a good position and very clean.

Really nice place in the middle of a mostly deserted Buckley centre. Atmosphere is good. Staff seem to be working very hard but I think an extra pair of hands might be an idea as lots of tables needed clearing.

I go here every week for coffee following a swim in the local pool. My Americano is good but, disappointingly, often they have no croissants.... and the alternative serving of 2 pieces of toast is too much for me... wish I could order just 1. The cakes look great, but too sweet for me. The various seating is well arranged - plenty of space between tables. Sometimes the tables are not cleared quickly but the staff always look busy and are all friendly. This Costa has a nice relaxed atmosphere.

This is a lovely costa store. Staff always happy & helpful. Plus they serve the best tuna panini's. Lots of seating & it's always very clean.

I often tend to visit this coffee shop. The staff are talented. They put effort into their trade, creating Art on my flat white. This demonstrates understanding of how to correctly steam milk. It's never overheated and always gives a sweet taste to the milk. The staff members are always chatty and ask me how I'm getting on as I'm learning to become a barista as well. The staff offered me a Costa card which was nice as well as I can build up points and get discounts over time. As a regular customer I am recognised by the staff which as we know is great as I feel part of a community. In terms of taste, I recommend the "smooth" coffee as i think it tasted best but didn't taste weak either. The coffee shop is run by talented polite and professional individuals and I feel it's appropriate to give good feedback where it's deserved. I hope to see you again in the near future.

Nice service - usual Costa coffee but that can't be helped. The staff are really nice and make the visit worthwhile.

Stopped here for coffee earlier, Costa is one of my favourite places for coffee. The coffee is always good and I love their giant teacake. Worth a visit for a coffee.

Well you've seen one Costa then you've seen them all but must admit this one had lovely atmosphere and staff very friendly.

Costa opened on Friday evening so we took full advantage of the children being in school this morning. The whole cafe looked brilliant, fresh, vibrant and inviting. Very easily accessible for those in wheelchairs, buggies or with walk aids. The staff were very helpful and knew their products with confidence. The layout of the seating area looks like it has been created to give different seating styles while still giving space between each table. The food we ordered had arrived fresh and hot. It was also refreshing to see the manager pottering around clearing tables and getting stuck in with the staff. I'm looking forward to returning. Welcome to Buckley, Costa!
