Costa Coffee in Nottingham

Why is it Costa coffee can't serve a decent piece of toast only warm bread this is my third Costa visit this week and the other establishments were exactly the same.. come on Costa where is your quality control.. shame on you especially as what you charge and the waiste of food as when you complain the person behind the counter looks like there on medication or something stronger and remark that is how it comes

Very good hot chocolate.very budy

Went over Xmas with my wife & children. Got sandwiches, two coffees & two hot chocolates. The place was a shambles & no one seemed to know what was going on. Eventually, I got the food, drinks & a crammed table. My daughter noticed a hair in her whipped cream. My wife took it to the counter & then came back to tell me, "The server is asking where is the hair?" The drink was full, why would you ask where the hair is?? Surely you apologise & replace it?! I pointed it out (poking out the cream) & they replaced it. I then went to drink my coffee & saw there was fluff & hair all around the rim of the glass. It looked unwashed & completely disgusting. It was like they had put it upside down on the floor. There was a busser at an adjacent table, I called him over, showed him, he apologised (the only one who seemed to know how to react) & I asked for a new one in a takeaway cup as I had more faith it would be clean. Hopefully they didn't just pour the dirty coffee in it. Sandwiches were fine but I wouldn't go back. Nasty to have dirt and hairs in drinks & ridiculous to be asked "where's the hair?"

It's a costa and a busy one, is clean and tidy but as always they would really benefit from an extra staff member to improve service rather than just looking at the profit margins and let's be honest what they charge they can afford it! Update 25.08.20 930am, still understaffed but what makes it worse are the two staff members are bitching in front of customers about other staff members not present. Service was poor and in these modern times of being extra clean due to covid-19 it is clear looking at the state of floor around our table and thinking thus cafe has not be open long the floor has not been mopped overnight. Very disappointed 2nd year running not many people in the cafe and they still managed to run out of all the Christmas drinks and the annoying thing is they did not put up any signs to tell you they had nothing but plain coffee with all the custom being lost to Starbucks I would have thought that more of an effort eould be made to keep existing customers happy. In my opinion costa has gone down hill since it changed its points reward system. My apologies for this being so negative but when you look forward to a Christmas treat and for the second year running get let down it makes me think if Costa values it's customers..

Great experience. We had our 10 month old grandson with us and needed somewhere to feed him. The staff were extremely helpful and gave us some hot water to heat up his food. They also refunded us a chicken wrap which turned out to be a bit too spicy. We didn’t complain but they picked up on the fact that we hadn’t eaten it all and immediately offered a refund. A special mention for Chelsea who was cheerful and courteous making it a lovely afternoon for us all.

Love Costa especially with the Christmas menu today but today we had breakfast sausage cob cup of tea 😋

I love and use Costa a lot but this experience put me off - The girl taking my breakfast order wiped her nose on her hand and checked her nostril with her finger before taking my sausage bap for heating. Not what you want to see!

Lovely relaxing breakfast before a day of shopping

We had a fabulous decaf latte each and a croissant and butter. We really enjoyed our purchases at the Costa in the shopping outlet MacAthur Glen near Mansfield.

It's a Costa but it was a very busy one.

Slow service, staff running around like headless chickens. We walked out and I can assure you we will never return.

Costa Coffee is a fab place staff are Very freand and helpful clean cafe a Pleasure To visit.

A pretty normal Costa experience apart from the noise! I'm not sure if it's the size of the space or the lack of any acoustic panelling but when the place is full (as most Costa's are in locations like this), the noise levels are almost unbearable and if you have someone in your party who is susceptible to the sound of crowds, then this is a place to avoid.

Newly refurbished, looking great. The staff really make this shop . They are exemplary in their roles. Great service with a smile, happy and friendly. The tables are clear and clean quickly. Love the coffee and croissant offer. 😀

At lunchtime, long wait, not enough staff.

In January 2023 I bought what I believed to be a insulated reusable cup from this branch, I discovered it wasn't actually insulated and wouldn't keep a drink hot for any more than an hour which really disappointed me. Because I don't live local, today was the soonest I could return to this store to see about a refund / exchange. The staff were lovely, explained that the plastic lined reusable cups are not insulated and kindly gave me a replacement. Great customer service Thank you

Coffee have to be careful if coeliac has now providing lots different milk options Becareful of cross contamination Gluten free options awful.

Very impressed by the speed of service, usually at other Costas I've visited, you have to wait ages even when they aren't that busy, it's the one thing that normally puts me off going to a Costa, but although it was very busy we were served within a few minutes, the staff were all pleasant and the tables were cleared quickly, I will definitely go again.

These guys literally stole from me. I ordered Too Good To Go, what a joke. Suggested price of bag was £12, I got for £3.50. I got one brownie and 3 of the most insipid chocolate cornflake cakes. Tasted like Smart Price chocolate. A disgusting experience

Nice cosy coffee shop ☕ and a bit of 🍰 cake with my mum..... we think its alright..... somewhere to stop after a few hours shopping! 😃☕😉👍

Recently refurbished. Clean, bright and spacious now. Really friendly staff. Wide choice of hot and cold drinks. Cakes, pastries, biscuits, sandwiches and toasted sandwiches available. Queue was quite big but staff worked hard to get customers served as quick as possible. Recommended

Very busy, but staff were keeping things flowing well. We left with a hole in our pockets £9 for two medium hot chocolates. 1 normal, 1 Terry's. Its all we could think about while drinking. It wasn't even particularly nice. Just a normal mediocre hot chocolate. We could have saved the money and bought a pot of nice hot chocolate powder from the supermarket and made a dozen and still have half the money left. I just think £9 is stealing. Its a shame because now we will avoid.

Just ordered tonight. Very pretty lady with tattoos and an extremely pleasant and friendly lady making coffee. Both were great as was the latte. Perfect!

This Costa at the Designer Outlet was fantastic, the service at producing the coffee even with lots of people waiting was amazingly fast. Great service all round.

Lovely, friendly staff, super-fast service and wonderful cake/coffee. Entire shop is clean and tidy, with baristas cleaning tables as soon as they're vacated. Would recommend, will definitely return.

Lovely friendly helpful staff. When we visited, late evening on a Thursday, it wasn't busy but it does get busy during peak times so can be difficult to find seating.

Great place to go for a break from the shopping. The coffee was great and my cake was tasty. Each time a table became empty it was cleared and cleaned straight away. The staff were polite and well organised.

It's Costa what can I say, this branch was really clean, no used pots on tables. Coffee as good as usual, I particularly like the sausage butty, good quality sausage and a nice bun.

I ordered a small caramel iced latte after waiting for about 20 minutes (even though the cue wasnt particularly long). I was charged for a medium, there was no syrup in it and when I tried to explain what was wrong I was ignored by 4 members of staff. Safe to say, I wont be going back.

Her indoors likes Costa but as it completely empty I thought ok. Ordered coffee for her and hot chocolate for me only the hot chocolate should have read Cold chocolate . Hers was ok but that's the 2nd cold chocolate from two different Costa in a week so I won't bother buying one the next time I get dragged in a Costa

Well organised outlet here at Park Farm. Quite roomy and light compared to some others. All the usual items on offer recommend the bacon cobs if you're looking for breakfast.

Thanks to one of our doctors who treat us for coffee. I would say that service is not that great everytime i will buy my coffee here. One of the staff is being rude.it would be nice to speak to the customer in a nice way.

Bit of a Q because it was 12 lunchtime but pleasant service and a helpful young lady carried our tray to our table as we couldn't carry everything.
