Costa Coffee in Dudley

Crap slow WiFi which is unusable, surly staff and wobbly tables. A wasted morning unable to work because the wifi is so poor.

Please read the signs !! But try and avoid this place if you want a relaxing drink with friends ! I visited with a friend after a particular bad stretch in my life - we sat and chatted for ages and I didn't realise my time for coffee was limited to 90 minutes - it would be good customer service for staff to mention to people ‘sitting in’ that there is limited time at their venue - just a Little effort on their behalf would be welcome to those of us who might just be distracted with life and miss signs - who are then charged disproportional fines compared to local parking rates.

Used here a few times and always been okay, but asked for sausage bap or bacon bap and said they didn't have any. So resorted to toast, they hadn't got any bread!!!! We left and probably will not rush back there again

There was a limited choice of breakfast food,I ended up with a soggy pastry, would find it hard to recommend

Most of the tables have not been cleaned off, trays, plates cups all over the place, which means none of the tables have been wiped over, if there are no tables available you have to sit on a dirty table and clean it and take the stuff over to be counter. The Staff have no customers to serve so therefore could be cleaning.I Went to take my child to use the toilets and they are awful and very dirty walked straight back out, told her she would have to wait. I couldn’t finish my food or drink as they were so off putting and couldn’t stop thinking how dirty the place was. Won’t be returning again. Very dirty and lazy staff.

Cafe is very clean, modern looking. Good choice of treats too. However it's very slow service and staff seem to go by a script and that's it, there's no pleasantries and with just one order Infront of me it took nearly 15 minutes just to get 2 coffees.

Popped in for a takeaway coffee and was not disappointed. The store was clean and the staff were friendly and professional. The drink made was amazing. Would be coming back here again.

Popped in for coffee and toastie to take out and got greeted with some awful customer service. Cafe wasn't busy despite being around 9am. Ordered two toasties, and two coffees and recieved no pleasantries. Both female and male staff member didn't seem happy to be there and failed to say thank you. I don't have high expectations with customer service but expect the basics when I'm spending money in an establishment.

We popped in as we only live round the corner. The staff were friendly & polite and served us straight away. Amber took our order & are Black Forest Latte's were made really quickly. We had a cheese & ham toastie was nice also. We decided to be good & take the glasses & plates etc back to counter when we were ready to leave but the waitress who had took over didn't acknowledge us but all in all worth a visit. We took a Polar Bear cake away with us for our son that looked yummy. Don't think the parking situation should be held against the staff & all the other eateries inc Macdonald's, KFC have the same hour & half limit unfortunately.

Just wanted to say thank you to the lovely staff at Costa on the ring road! We visit here once a month following the hospital visit! The latte is always perfect and service with a smile! Love it here! ( your collegues in merry hill could learn a lot from you! See you soon x)

Probably our third or fourth visit to this fairly new Costa. Service on this occasion was particularly poor. Cafe wasn't to full capacity but despite 3 staff on the counter they seemed to be struggling. Tables were left dirty with used cups and plates. When we ordered we had to repeat the order twice to a spaced out young man, had to ask for napkins twice, while he then forgot our toast and threw the receipt away so we had to produce our to prove we'd ordered it.

I overstayed by 12 minutes at this Costa branch and got fined £60 for the privilege. I spent £12 in the costa shop. I will not be using costa again. This heavy handed enforcement stinks and Costa Coffee’s support of this parking also stinks. Shame on them.

Coffee ok but please be warned you cannot park without getting a £60 parking ticket a real rip off sorry costa won’t be back better places to go where you don’t have a ticket
