Costa Coffee in Mole Valley

Numerous times I’ve come here it’s been shocking how slow the staff are! They’re always training someone. I waited 15 minutes to be served today. It’s getting beyond a joke! Sort it out!!

We came here to buy some drinks and snack on our pizza and sausage roll. Very nice staff. We also bumped into Mr Riordan!!!! (Anna’s teacher) and some kiddie winkles from Anna Gazelle’s school. Please come here it’s delicious.

In this occasion I wasn’t at Costa as a spending customer but instead owing to the hot weather we have been experiencing in the south of England recently, I was suddenly really dehydrated and dizzy. I was rather nervous about asking for a glass of water as I could see the servers were busy with customers however I was greeted with a lovely smile and wonderful customer service! I was even offered ice and told it was absolutely no problem. Wow! Go Costa, very impressed and they put to shame other bars and cafés that in the past have been visibly annoyed at similar requests (I have rarely been in the situation myself and normally would purchase bottled water but when my daughter was younger she would always ask for tap water rather than soft drinks).

Awful service, very rude and slow. They close 2 hours early almost everyday. They are incredibly understaffed and the staff that are there are incredibly untrained

Its a real shame ,this branch was run so efficiently once with wonderful friendly caring staff. But some how head management have let it go, The whole set up from queuing for Coffee/Tea is wrong, The whole process seems very slow, New staff are struggling to cope with various orders, under trained.

Super slow service form the 3 service attendant today, very disappointed, they had no sence of urgency, very poor very disorganised

Typical Costa-sugar loaded cakes with a pretty uninspiring range of sarnies. Great position, but for some reason the staff, over the past few week’s , have taken it upon themselves to close whenever they feel like it. If your lucky enough to find them open it’s worth a punt. I really can’t understand how or why Costa tolerate these erratic trading hours.

I got a mint choc chip Frostino from Costa Coffee which I would highly reccommend they are delicious

This branch will always be special to me, as we came here straight after our wedding at the nearby Registry office back in 2014, still dressed in our finery! I bet they don't see that every day! In terms of food and coffee it is pretty much the standard Costa fare you have come to expect, served with a smile. The coffee and festive drinks are great but sadly there is still a lack of savoury gluten free options that continues to let this chain down. I live in hope that one day it will change!

The coffee is still as good as ever, but the shop is becoming faded and in need of a revamp. Don't order tea, because you get a pot of hot water and a teabag on the side. Really horrible. The gluten-free chocolate brownies are wonderful and big enough to share.

Sitting in Costa in Leatherhead, doing some work on my laptop, , had a coffee and something to eat. Asked one of ladies working here as she was clearing a table next to might she be able to bring another coffee over to me, so I wouldn't have to leave my table. No problem at all, coffee, fresh milk and a smile.Friendly hello to all the customers, now that is great staff and customer service

This is definitely my favourite coffee shop in Leatherhead, the service is good and food/drinks are great, but it is very expensive, nearly £4 for a small sandwich. Would recommend but only for a couple of friends or family for a quick coffee

Costa Coffee is pretty much the same wherever you go. The Leatherhead version is well staffed, friendly and ideally positioned when one is out shopping.

I popped in for a cappuccino and waited for 15 minutes in the queue whilst, the only two members of staff made small talk (or shall i say long talk) with practically every customer they served. Time is definitely not of the essence in that place especially with just two people on shift in the mornings. To make matters worse the empty tables were filthy and hadn't been cleared. When I asked the female staff to clear the table i wanted to sit at she stormed off in a huff and returned to wipe it clean once the red mist had settled. I was absolutely astounded as I'd never seen anything like it nor encountered such an angry member of staff . Firstly two people working during the most busiest period of the day doesn't cut the mustard. I've noticed that it's a common occurrence. Secondly the staff need to speed up especially when the place is understaffed. Fifteen minutes waiting in the queue to be served is ludricous at best. This place wouldn't last 5 minutes in many parts of the world where cafe owners take their craft seriously. Thirdly, Costa is not cheap so if i've chosen to spend my hard earned money there instead of the handful of cafes within a stone's throw then, i expect to enjoy my beverage at a clean table without attitude from the staff. What this place needs is serious competition.

Have had many coffees and a few lunches during the last few years. All acceptable and as you would expect from a Costa.
