Always gone here for chicken and never been disappointed! Portion sizes are great and the guys in there are really friendly.

Chicken burger wings and chips were really good. I normally come into the shop late and they always try to rush me out and you can't dine in after 9:30pm despite not closing until 11pm. It's also worth noting they opened a second royal chicken in Dorking which ended up closing down recently because they poisoned multiple people so be cautious and make sure to check your food.

Chips where banging but that burger was rotten! Mushy bland and tasteless. Rustler burger is honestly better. So cost me nearly £14 for some fries. Never again!

None of the toppings including cheese were on the pizza. All had slid right off. Not good

One star is generous as it never arrived, tried calling the shop several times and the phones just kept saying call failed or not ringing through at all. In the end had to drive down there and all the staff in the shop began shouting at me and saying my number is wrong on just eat so the driver couldn’t get through which is a complete lie. We live in a flat so I’m assuming the driver just couldn’t be bothered to walk up or contact me. Do not order from here!!

Food was ok (ordered via Uber Eats) bit overpriced but delivery was terrible. Driver was from Royal not Uber. He couldn't find the address, he called but was completely garbled. He eventually went into one of the shops down the road to ask the lady behind the counter to speak to me on the phone to find out the delivery address. The instructions couldn't have been clearer. Not necessarily the fault of Royal Chicken but it was one of their employees who delivered.

Pizza was nice but not a lot of chicken and I specifically asked for no chillies and there was loads on the pizza...

Took 1hr 50 to arrive, 50 mins after it was 'on its way' . Stone cold.

Food was ok but a bit disappointing. The chips were mostly crisp, almost like they had been cooked during the day, then re-cooked. Popcorn chicken was quite nice but left a greasy aftertaste in my mouth. The chicken strips were nice until i found a large bone in one. It was more like the bone from a chicken wing than a chicken strip. Garlic bread with cheese was nice so enjoyed that. Delivery time was excellent. Overall i won't be ordering again. Not had food from here for a couple of years or so & it just wasn't up to the standard i remember. Sorry.

Careful, these pizzas are well over priced. If you order delivery for medium you don't get 2 like the advert says! I have big hands and that's still tiny.

food is greasy with no flavour, chicken strips are just lumps of chicken meat with no breading, the wings aren't breaded either, very disappointed as there are no images to show that it is not breaded.

Second time here in a month, and both were a smables. First time, they had no large cups for ANY drinks, and never mentioned it until i was given my food. They then tried to give me a small drink without any apology or reduction. Second time, they had no boxes for their box meals and our family meal was just put all together in a bag and handed to us, but not before waiting for our chicken breast for ten minutes whilst all other food got cold waiting for the chicken breast to be cooked. This branch gets worse and worse, the licencees of this branch clearly don't staff it properly as the place and floors are dirty and the current staff cannot cope with demand

The guy was very friendly. And the fries were 10/10 super crispy. We were lucky enough to always get fresh fries. We ordered pizza once, and that was nice, too.

Hot wings meal a bargain £5.49 with a drink some nice tasting chips. I give it 5/5 for the service and quality. Would definitely try again.

A cheaper alternative to KFC, but equal to this well known brand in every way. There are also many other things offered here I took a picture of their menu board to try and explain. Inside the restaurant part is tired the floor tiles cracked and some of the light fitting with more than a light layer of dust. The food part looks well looked after with big stainless hobs and extractors just the dining area could do with some attention.

They never let me down. Best chicken taste and fastest delivery. Legend.

When my food arrived it was cold. The delivery driver phoned me as he didn’t know where my house was. I explained multiple times for around 15 minutes before he had any idea where to deliver. Wasn’t a good experience as food was cold when arrived

Burger is average, chicken meat looks a bit pink but pizza is actually ok. Most staff is friendly but sadly one member was a bit rude to me. Good that there is also a KFC in the town

As it is the case in most of the restaurants in UK, their offer mentioned on the billboard outside the restaurant are dodgy and dishonest or should I say marketing gimmick. Offer read buy 1 and get 1 free on any size but that was not the case. This needs be kept in mind. Although pizza was good in taste.

Tasty food, delivered early and hot!

The chips were soggy and wet, and the chicken wasn't crispy, it was soggy. I waited a whole hour for the food and was hungry, I ate it anyways but it was great.

Chicken vastly overcooked and extremely dry. Generic sauce was supposedly peri peri but it was unlike anything I’ve had before. Really didn’t enjoy it. The chips were OK.

Dry chicken, didnt taste fresh and far too salty, did not enjoy . Greek salad, anything but. No cucumber, no tomatoes.

They have a hygiene rating 5 sticker in the window and it’s beyond me how they got that! The place is run down! The seating is filthy! The food well...the chicken burgers were hard and the wings were just a casing of batter with literally no chicken inside!

Food wasn't that bad, just the batter on the chicken spicy strips had majority fallen off so it was just like fried chicken breast. Quite chewy.

The delivery was fast don't get me wrong, and also the chips were fire as usual. But the bbq chicken was awful, and I would give it a 1/5! I didn't know what I was eating. In general I'd give this 2/5, good delivery, fire chips but disgusting chicken! 🤢

We tried a few different chicken items on the menu. The peri chicken wings were dry as were the peri chicken strips and chicken pieces. We didn’t even eat it. Threw it in the bin! peri chips were ok

The spicy chicken tower burger was nice, good. Half pounder burger with pineapple did not work. The patties seemed frozen and grilled, not freshly made. The combination of pineapple, sauce and burger did not work. Nice friendly staff Halal food

Chicken, was rubbery and not fresh, moist. Unable to chew as it was so rubbery I binned it, as it was so inedible.

This is exactly why I prefer Dorking rather than leatherhead Royal fried chicken!! 12 x chicken strips (Leatherhead.... not fresh , moist or tender, instead, very rubbery and def not fresh!!) Disappointing..... yes!! Dorking royal chicken (fresh, hot, moist, just as chicken should be!!) Tower burgersx2 leatherhead royal chicken, cold chewy and rubbery chicken. Bought too much to activate free delivery and ended up in the nether regions of the menu! Peri peri chicken was okay but outrageously hot. Mozzarella salad was bad for the price. Learned my lesson 🙄

Keep on raising prices, you order from the menu prices total is way higher they say they’ve changed their prices for months now multiple times. Not competitive with kfc on taste or price. On top of that, portion sizes have reduced significantly.

Amazing chicken shop really good customer service and kind staff. Chicken tastes amazing and they're always super consistent. They do the best BBQ Spicy Chicken Wings I've ever had, really reminds me of my childhood in London. Was worried they'd suffer due to the KFC opening, but after almost choking dry foul tasting chicken I'm not worried, I go here every month at least and haven't regretted it. Thank you ❤️
