Open and comfortable, good hot food and excellent service

Stood in line for 15 min to be finally told they had no coffee and takeout cups only .... how on earth does a coffee shop run out of coffee!!!!

One of the last few costas where staff actually care about the coffees they make. There’s two barristas here, a tall bloke with a beard, and another one with glasses. They make the best coffees around.

Visited with my partner Monday,was very impressed with the service from the two guys.polite,friendly, very hospitable. I believe in praise when it's due.they need a pat on the back.well done guys,will definitely be calling in again.

One of the slowest service coffee shops I can remember being in. Go somewhere else unless you've got a lot of time to spend in the queue.

Unfortunately in the last few months standards have dropped quite considerably. We have been visiting the Haslingden Costa (Tesco) ever since it opened years ago as we live very nearby. Dirty tables full of crockery, perennial shortage of staff don't have time to clear the stuff. Staff try their best, but most of the time with only 2 on duty it's difficult to keep on top of things. Also recently shortage of food has forced us to walk out on a couple of occasions and go elsewhere. Food is quite average and not enough filling in the panini's and toasties for the prices charged. Anless things improve in the near future, we will be forced to spend our money elsewhere

Service with a smile. All Costa,s offers a standard same-taste coffee, full shot or half shot. Better now the Tesco travelator speaker has moved.

Don't usually get a toasties but got a free one just glad I never paid for it. Got the turkey and stuffing one, not much turkey or stuffing in it really 😪

Absolutely the slowest Costa in the country more people working than in the queue but still 20 mins for a coffee I walked away

Had a skinny latte and toast and marmalade this morning while waiting for my car to be valeted. Lovely coffee and toast, both were brought to my table by Very helpful friendly staff. Very happy with the car valeting as well 😊

Costa at Haslingden Tesco is an absolute gem of a place. Very friendly, efficient staff, always happy to accomodate and with a smile on their face. I visit daily and the place runs smoothly even at extra busy times. They deserve all the credit for all he hard work they do and the standard of products is fantastic!

Getting to know the regular staff(sense of humour),food good, parking easy for Bolton and very easy for main road into Bolton,lovely cakes (watch your waistline),have always been able to get a seat although place is popular.

closed 30 mins before closing time on sunday. Thats hopeless.

Good coffee , friendly staff & service

I often hear people knock Costa cafes and to be honest I'm not sure why. I like their coffee - and their cakes are good. I do find it expensive on cakes but it's a personal choice whether or not to buy. Their staff are well trained and they work as a team and service is fairly quick. (I do have issues with Costa drink machines but that's a different matter.) I wouldn't choose a Costa as a special meeting place with friends but I like it to spend half an hour reading, with a coffee, after shopping.

Got a pint of flatwhite that tasted like lukewarm milk

Had to wait for a table to be cleared. There were at least 5 tables waiting to be cleared. The orange rolls were dry (day old?). The caramel latte was tepid. The tray was brought to us without any spoons for the drinks or any serviettes. Then when we went back for serviettes, we were given 2 very small ones. Rationing? It was a very busy morning & they appeared very short-staffed. The staff there was friendly & helpful enough...there just needed to be more of them. We used to go to the Costa in Tesco, Rawtenstall, but alas they have closed. Sorry we wasted our time with the trip out for coffee & breakfast.

Always good coffee a good place to relax

Called into Costa at 5.03pm on Christmas Eve. I needed a vegan dessert for a family member on Christmas Day & I know they sell vegan mince pies. Unfortunately I was served by a very unhelpful male member of staff. There were still customers on the premises. He was just starting to cash up but refused to sell me a mince pie as he stated they shut at 5pm & he stated it was now 3 minutes past. If I'd been asking him to make me a coffee, I could understand. I found him very inflexible & unhelpful, without any Christmas spirit at all. I won't be giving this particular branch my custom in the future.

Very noisy, mainly due to staff rattling trollies around and having lots of very loud (shouty) conversations.

The trays are filthy . Disgusting.

Flat white was pretty much a latte, toast was warm bread and I was given a crust without being asked, no one eats the crust...

Coffee ok but service poor. Had to send scrambled egg breakfast pot back as we found a hair in it. No apology, just "Did you want another one then?" We had finished everything else before our toast arrived too.

Good atmosphere & friendly staff

I sell coofee for a living, som my interest is vested. Before I start, I should stste I score Starbucks higher, so this isn't sour grapes. Costa is diabolical. The coffee is not that bad but you are part of a clear and deliberate production line. I find Starbucks the same but at least their coffee is delicious... if you can swallow politics, you are on to a winner with them. But then, speaking of politics, Costa is owned by Whitbreads, murderers of local brands in the interest of shareholder profits. I don't mind saying that as I love Premierinn, I negate any defamation risk because some stuff they do well. Then, I come to their people... rarely do they engage you, they don't show any interest in you and they are processors of orders. That in itself is no crime, but take some pride, stand out from the crowd and most importantly make Costa a choice, rather than just a matter of availability.

Consistently awful coffee, really cannot understand how they are so inept at making drinks.

Friendly staff who remember my order. Personal touch is lovely. Only the temperature spoils my visits. On a warm day its just to hot to sit there for long. Air con would be great 🙄🙄
