Costa Coffee in Harlow

Random visit. I popped in to waste a bit of time before picking my daughter up from around the corner at my mums. I was greeted with a friendly smile from the person behind the bar. The Fosters was lovely and at a good price of £3.50. Bumped into some old aquintences and friends and it was nice to have a chat with them. A very pleasant atmosphere, and the new decor looked good aswell. It was also nice to meet the Landlady in person, as although we have spoken on the phone, oddly enough had never met personally in person. Thank you Richard

We ordered a Munchbox, walked in. Within 15 minutes the food was ready. Food made my partner vomit within an hour of eating, and myself a day later with a bad stomach. We hadn’t eaten anything out of the norm until that day so can only put this down to the food we ate from this restaurant. I saw a piece of chicken in the food was slightly pink so disregarded that piece but after my partner was puking made us wonder if there had been poorly cooked meat throughout the dish. The battered squid was overly rubbery and probably had been in their freezer for a long time. Wouldn’t order from this place again.

i usually love dixy, unfortunately this dixy in Harlow was not upto the standard i expect from dixy. the fried chicken wings almost felt like eating dry biscuits. i hope you fix this and i also wish u good luck. i will be back some day. i am hoping for a better experience then.

Updated review 06/04/25 Food was good , can't complain. Kebabs were a bit mushy-I guess that's how they had to be ... steak it self was great no complaints there. Burger was good Staff who served us in the restaurant , despite the guy(Blonde hair) who was smiley but for some reason it took him over 40 min to actually come and get the order. People that came after us got their food and left before we even had a chance to eat! The person thats served us never came up to even ask if the food was okay compared going to other people and asking them. Took forever to come with the bill had to come up and ask for it, on top of that forgot to bring the sauce for the steak. (But did , once asked) Won't complain further about it ... but again with the staff you either lucky to get a good one or not and we wasn't lucky this time around unfortunately. With the place to be honest is either hit or a miss depending on who serves you. The best person is definitely the tallest /hench man they have there not sure if his name is Milo . Quick accurate and great but unfortunately got another one to serve us this time....
