Love the coffee selection, but could do better with gluten-free food options

Very nice indeed It all looked good, l was just a bit sad that I couldn't get to eat exactly what I wanted due to being on a very strict diet, but coffee was good.

Staff are friendly. Food is way overpriced for what it is and had gone cold by the time the drinks were ready.

The staff were very rude and customer service was appalling. As she wouldn’t give her name can only refer to her as the girl with green hair. Would not give the managers name which later we found out to be Blake but no surname. She accused me of using bad language which i did not so await an apology for that. I have been a regular there for years and spend a lot of money there. I won’t be returning. I went to starbucks and their staff know how to treat customers. Sorry take a good look at who you are employing Costa your staff are letting you down .

It was really busy yesterday when my partner and I went in but staff were so helpful and happy laughed and joked well done to all. David

Called here mid afternoon today. A young lady with tattoo arms served us. She seems to be a genuine, sort, natural, happy & pleasant. A credit to Costa

Lovely staff not our normal costa as we are visiting area but guy who served us 3 days prior remembered us and what drinks we ordered amazing for such a busy place

Nearly all the tables had dirty crockery on them. People had to move the dirty items so they could use the tables. No staff to actually clear or clean them. Staff struggled to cope with the customers, although they seemed to be doing. Took us nearly an hour to get served. I'm glad we were taking out.

Costa's outlet at Plas Coch Retail Park, Wrexham offers a bright and spacious experience in walking distance of Sainsbury's, Boots, M&S Food, Pets at Home and other retailers. There are no surprises about choice, and the outlet features an easily navigable drive-thru to make life easy for anyone wrapping up a round of shopping, or for those needing respite from travels along the A483.

look. this is always a busy place with never enough staff to manage. so my experiences here are not based on them. it has drive through that should be suspended in busy periods in order to catch up in the cafe seated area. the last 3 trips I have had to clear a tables in order to sit down. on one occasion I had to ask for a wipe as the previous customers had left the table a mess. again not the staffs fault they are too busy to cope. if you want to wait for an hour in a queue to exit the complex on match days. wait 10m at a junction for the woman in the Audi to let you out whilst ignoring your pleading stare then this is the place for you. the car park must waste the carbon footprint of an Apollo rocket every other Saturday while Currys next door will sell you a TV that saves you the equivalent of q 5w led bulb every year. great place. go visit.

Always seem to run out of important stuff like cups and sugar food is grossly overpriced always super busy

A friend and I were dining in and I ordered a cappuccino and ham and cheese toasti, I wasn't happy when we were given a takeaway meal, we expected our drinks in a cup with a saucer, and our toasties on a plate, oh and we were not even given a tray to put them on, I won't be going there again, very very poor service.

This Costa is a let down towards all other Costa outlets. Tables not cleaned by staff we had to clear ours ourselves, waste bins overflowing very disappointed, staff didn't seem to care

Hello. We were in a cafe on February 4th. ordered 2 cappuccinos. They made us half a cup of drink. we were shocked. We were very sad. we are regular customers. Costa contacted us! and gave me two free drinks

Apalling slow service -waited 20 mins after ordering, tables were filthy and not been cleared for a long time

Popped in for a coffee with a friend, coffee is good as usual good choice of cakes but too early for me, only down side was the sun glearing through the windows blinding me as all other tables were full we couldn't move seats could do with some blinds to drop down, spent most of my time with my hand shielding my eyes so I was squinting, even with my light reactor glasses on went home with a headache :(

Restaurant was mad busy with hardly any tables available. We took our drinks out. Staff where friendly and served us in an expected time frame, drive through seamed to be served quicker than inside.

I quite like a good coffee house. Unfortunately many of the coffee house chains are not as clean as I'd like. Cutlery needs to be looked at closely. Tables not cleaned when busy. Food bits on the seats and floor are all too common. This is a shame as it spoils the experience and lets the staff down. They are very polite while being very busy.

Typical Costa experience. Can get busy, parking can be hectic now marks and Spencer food opened.

This costa is the most disappointing place. The guy serving didn't even have it in him to say hi to any customers and acted like we weren't there. The queues are always so long with one woman making the coffee who is clearly over worked. Empty tables with dirty dishes from the last customers. It's just terrible...

Good choice of sandwiches cakes and drinks. But service can sometimes be extremely slow.

this is a really good costa! the staff are amazing and sincere and the acoustics are well set up that even full i wasn't being hyperstimulated!

Have mobility issues, walk with stick. Staff friendly and attentive. Even though they were very busy a nice young staff member brought my tray to the table.

Thanks to the employee Emily there, as me and my grandfather got a free drink! Lovely & freindly people there some of the girls there do seem abit run down with all the messy tables customers leave, If any Customers read this please clean up after yourselves and respect the place for others.

Turned up for a breakfast meeting but despite the sign on the door saying it opens at 6:30am, only the drive through was open.

Like a youth club with the staff… that’s if the place is even open as often they will have a sign on the door saying drive thru only due to staff issues. Been in there another time and 3 staff weren’t even in uniform… one girl in tight gym shorts - looked so unprofessional! Staff aren’t the friendliest and act like you’re not there. Often very messy and untidy tables and over flowing bins outside. I prefer other Costas over this one.

Air con too high so drinks went cold fast but having a free birthday cake kind of eased this 😜😋 Think a bigger venue is needed and therefore more staff as whenever I go there is a queue to the door and the barristas are all flat out working. Today was a special offer, 2 drinks for £5 with your card, card reader wasn't working, only the drive through till was working for cards. When asked can you put it through that till then? No!!! Ridiculous

Arrived at 0645 this morning, still closed with no sign of opening. I can't drive at the minute due to a secret injury, glad I walked here. Will avoid from now and walk to town.

Alot better than what it was when 1st opened.tables cleared and cleaned faster,good work line from.ordering and collecting. Better they have WiFi aswell now.

The staff do not have enough hands, this leaves the place with long queues and messy tables.

A bit out-of-the-way, but a fairly standard mid-sized Costa on a retail park. What you might want to know is that unusually this one has neither wi-fi nor phone signal inside. Decent coffee though, and friendly staff. EDIT - there is now wi-fi... but still a phone dead spot.

Probably the worst Costa I’ve visited , drive through is mostly closed , always seem to be short staffed, really needs sorting , never known one like it!

Drive thru lane closed again! Appeared under staffed and took ages to serve a drink, no urgency whatsoever and the toilet was filthy

I was disappointed with Costa yesterday. When I arrived staff were putting chairs on tables and I asked when they were closing, thinking it was imminent.... In 45 minutes! They were only serving drinks in takeaway cups (to save on the washing up as it was nearing closing time? 🤔), the toilets were very smelly and the bins full to overflowing!

Went today at 19:30 to staff closing and locking up despite information on here saying it closes at 20:00, and the door itself saying it closes at 21:00. As well as locking the door the drive through is being closed off too. Clearly not the first time looking at other reviews. Useless. As you can see in my photo taken at 19:31, the girl is closing off the drive through with a chain, and literally next to her it has the opening times stating 21:00, hmmmmmm.

I go to Costa Plas Coch Wrexham regularly and the staff are always lovely, friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Rachel who is an absolute star 🌟 . The drinks and food are always really good, freshly made n tasty. It fave recharge treat xxx

9 times out of 10 this store is shut way before they're due to close! I visited last Friday about 4pm and they were closed with a sign on the door that they were closing the store at 2.30pm instead of the advertised time of 8pm, only drive thru available as they were short staffed (i counted 3 staff members inside), and saw over 20 people turn up to go into the store. Attempted to visit last night at 6.45pm..... store and drive thru shut! When it's open it is always busy so lack of custom isn't the problem.

This is the second Thursday morning in a row that the cafe side has been closed. Today no drive thru either. Met another person in the car park who said this is now a regular occurrence. When we have been there, staff are friendly, but it's clear that they are understaffed and it's very hit and miss. There's no WiFi and hasn't been forever, so you can't access the app. There isn't any mobile signal either, so not a location for working. Not sure how this Costas will stay trading, if they're not open especially when it's advertised that they are.

More fillings on sandwiches please. Apart from that nice place good staff and very clean.

Sausages were cold in the bap, realised later they were vegan 🤢 please label your food so that people with poor eye sight can tell the difference between meat or vegan,,(perhaps colour code) otherwise all good,,, especially the staff who were very happy and efficient

Nice location and atmosphere but the staff need to be careful about the orders. My latte was cold when it reached the table and had to take it back to the counter to sort it out.

This Costa closed over 20 minutes early. Staff still inside, not happy. Waste of a half an hour drive just to get a drink we couldn't have

In-store ordering always closed in favour of drive-thru. Absolutely no good for people like me without a car. Ridiculous.

Tables full of the last customers crockery and rubbish. Had to wait 20 minutes to be served. Had to go back for my coffee, which I didn't realise wasn't on my tray, because I ordered more than one, and return for milk for my tea

Very friendly staff, thoroughly enjoyed my usual hot chocolate, very tasty, not too chocolaty, best I've ever had and tried a lemon muffin, beautiful, light, fluffy and delicious xx thank u Costa x

Free WiFi still not working after about a year. Apparently the landlord won't replace the "under-tarmac" cabling.

Went at 9 30 am ,and found it to be busy. Got served quick and staff were polite and friendly. Tables were cleared guickley, and coffee ☕ was good

Had to wait so long for my toastie, which was left on the side after being cooked. I asked if it was ready, given it. Asked if it was still hot? It wasn't!asked if I wanted another, there is a reason why you do take out. Left toastie with staff, no refund offered!...... The shop incidentally was not busy, nor drive through. I use costa every day. May reevaluate situation.

Very nice coffee, friendly efficient staff. Unlike a previous reviewer, we found it to be spotlessly clean although there were a couple of tables that needed clearing. Poor mobile phone reception inside, which I thought was unusual and even more unusual these days was the lack of WiFi! I can only assume Costa are sorting it out. I'd have given it 4 stars but lost one for that. Update: WiFi is working, thanks Costa, here's an extra star Update: no WiFi again...

Tea, Coffee and snacks are always to Costa predictable standards. My gripe is the lack of Wi-Fi. Ever since it was built, two years ago, it has struggled to provide this service. I did complain on the website, but was told to raise the issue with staff on site. Why? It’s not their fault. In coffee shops you either go to talk to mates or check e mails etc. internet connection is part of the experience. This problem has rumbled for two years- it’s not good enough.How tough can it be to have Wi-Fi in the biggest town in North Wales? V poor.

The drive thru needs real improvement. It doesn't have the capacity for the amount of customers who use it. Thus expect delays. But apart from that, a well tasting coffee.

It's always closed whatever time of day. Only open for drive thru and cannot sit in.

Nice and clean inside and out. Limited seating outside but enough. Drive thru is a bit small and not great for queuing into as you have to take an odd approach line. If there is a queue of cars, you queue back on to the car park. Sometimes people end up blocking the rest of the retail park or space to move past.

We stop off for a caramel latte...it was nice too!
