Costa Coffee in Knowsley

Only told after paid they could not us have proper cups and pot of tea, they said they was short of safe, but had 5 staff working !!! If they had a sign up or told us before placing an order, we wouldn't had bothered.

Staff were too busy talking. Waited 15 minutes for 2 drinks that weren't even correct.

Not short on staff, but none of them seem to know what's going on. Service slow, gangs of customers blocking serving areas tables full of dirty cups and wrappers.

Had a nice cup of coffee after a hospital appointment

Atmosphere is let down a bit by the hospital. Food is great, coffee is good.. staff are brilliant but rushed off their feet. This is a very busy outlet, so be prepared to be a little patient with the staff while they sort your order.

Great place to have a coffee when visiting friends or family in Whiston Hospital. Staff are fast and attentive.

I find it overpriced, but, that said, i do like the drinks and find the staff always very helpful and friendly

Ask for a sandwich at 3:55pm and told they wouldn’t do it as they stopped at 4pm. I said it’s only 3:55pm and they said we’re not doing it anyway. Disgusting

Can be pretty slow with a lot of waiting around but it can also be pretty quick... with a lot of waiting around.

Queued for 20min waiting to be served, another ten waiting for them to heat some porridge. Been waiting half an hour for my coffee. Staff have no hurry and seem to struggle with making drinks

Fantastic staff who interaction was beneficial to me as for 4 weeks I used Costa.

Busy place, staff are helpful, it's inside whiston hospital, it's card only unfortunately if you're a patient and have been left with cash, it's a Costa if frequently use them it's worth getting the Costa card, plenty of seating place is clean and tidy,

Closed at 4 PM been here all week same every day it's in a hospital they must be passing on a fortune of business if they can't be bothered let some one else run a coffee shop from there

I think this is a good place but an awful lot of the time the food comes out cold . They also get the wrong order sometimes . Food comes out quick though and there is a lot of selection.

Staff pleasant and efficient. No white bread or fruit loaf. Early to run out!!!!

The queue is usually pretty long. The visiting hours will concentrate people around 3-4pm and 6-7pm. They have changed their Sunday opening to 9am not 8am. There is a good canteen/restaurant on the 5th floor that is recommend on price and convenience

Just a quick coffee, was part of a hospital appointment visit,so not a relaxing event. Having said that, it's always busy there and isn't unpleasant atall.

Server Took an age making an iced white flat, then didn’t know how to make it. Colleague helped but it tasted awful. I didn’t bother returning as I can’t be bothered waiting for her to make another. Please hire people with a brain.

Visited twice this week - on first occasion no de-cafe coffee, staff didn't seem unduly worried or apologetic! On second occasion - ordered white hot chocolate only to be told its no longer on the menu, despite still being advertised (perhaps a bit of sticky tape would help?)! Then ordered hot chocolate - only to be told no cream, then no soya milk! Staff are unfriendly and place just feels dirty. And NO card facility! Costa - have you been here recently??? Your name is being besmirched!

Very expensive cheaper elsewhere

Limited choice for non cheese eating folk.

Very busy store, expect to wait to get your coffee but the coffee standards are better than most Costa's.

They don't sell greasy food. Extremely difficult to find a decent cafe nowadays. Some people aren't interested in coffee!
