Costa Coffee in Edinburgh, City of

Literally no staff behind the counter. Tried 3 times to get a coffee at approx 10:35am this week, but the counter is always unoccupied. I waited for a few minutes but no staff were visible. Not sure what is going on, if they take breaks at that time or what.

Went 15 mins after they’re supposed to open and the whole place was closed.

Great place... It's now my regular place! 😍

Went in to grab a take away drink at Edinburgh Park Costa at 3pm today and was told they were closed despite a room full of people. Checked online where the closing time is recorded as 4pm. Very confused - would give no stars if I could.

Had a large drink free staff member said could not be used as it was franchise but then proceeded to give me beans for the drinks we bought absolutely angry

Slightly disappointing as they had run out of some food so we had to make do , no toast or croissants on a sat morning ?

Even though they where nearly closing. My mum and I where made very welcome to sit in and enjoy our coffee. Thank you

I bought my 1 shot, medium vanilla latte on Sunday 4th September at this store. I felt the young girl who served me at the till was rude to the point where I was visibly upset by her. First she made me feel like a nuisance for asking a question of how many shots where in a medium latte, then she kept trying to charge me for two coffees and I only wanted 1, I told her three times and she raised her voice to me in frustration (at her mistake). She was clearly busy and angry with the guy making the coffees - she shouted at him as well which was awkward for everyone. I just felt her customer service skills could improve; she had a bad attitude about the situation which made me feel like I had done something really wrong to her. A simple smile would have helped a lot or even an apology for getting my order wrong on the till and me having to tell her three times but it seemed she was just unwilling to actually listen to what I was telling her. I felt uncomfortable and upset , especially when she raised her voice to me about whether it was sit in or take away, I had already told her it was take - away. The coffee did not have the vanilla shot in the end but I was apprehensive to approach the counter again after my experience. Money is tight at the moment and the coffee was my weekend treat to myself during my day out in Edinburgh, in the end I was on the train feeling upset about the way I had been treated and the wrong coffee order. I won’t be back.

What's not to like about Costa. It is stocked with all the usual goodies and joined on to Premier Inn. Great location, and right next to tram and train track.

Always out of bacon rolls...but they are not that great anyway compared to Greggs

Staff excellent dropped my card wallet member of staff as ked if anyone had lost anything /very grateful. Disappointed didn't have tuna baguette. But hey can live with that

I do enjoy a Costa. So naturally my review is glowing. Lovely staff here on a quiet covid day. It's your standard fare within good reach of amenities.

The last couple of visits the customer service was poor. I understand it’s a constant stream of customers if I didn’t want service I could go Tesco’s machine and get coffee from there!

Very friendly staff, no place for me in the shopfront, so they arranged a seat & table in the hotel restaurant so i could enjoy my coffee, could not be more pleased at the service provided 👍

Friendly staff and nice and quiet.

The Costa near Edinburgh Park make excellent coffees even by Costa's usually high standards. The staff are friendly and efficient and service is faster than most coffee places, can be in and out in a couple of minutes even during the morning rush.

I have been here several times for coffee and a catch up with friends. The staff are always friendly and courteous. My only flaw I can find with the place itself is the serious lack of seating. There are only a few tables and they always seem to be occupied when we turn up.

I have been here a few times. It has always been noisy. As a result I don't really care for the place. To top it off parking is rediculously expensive.

Not a big fan of coffee houses in general but was here for meeting and they were paying!

I love this Costa! Personally my number 1 in Edinburgh. Because of the location is usually very quiet. The staff is really nice and always smiling.
