We were served by Dimitra who was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond for us two days in a row, making me a gingerbread frappe. The other servers were great as well!!!

Went in to order a coffee and tried to use my defence discount card but the manager was being really rude about it and was shocked that her staff let me use it last time and was really being rude about it, it even shows in the app that it can be used in costa

The coffee was good and the service was great but the place is a bit run down and better off taking away.

Very poor quality of coffee beans making my cappuccino very bitter and unpleasant and the foam was also not tasting great.

It was very relaxing and calm, the staff are amazingly nice but its hard to find halal food.

Sam is an amazing employee! She works so very hard to get the orders done for multiple customers. Even when we changed our minds, ordered in a confusing manner, she handled it with a smile! Sam deserves a raise! The manager overseeing her was a bit overbearing with efficiency, which other customers appreciated. I felt that efficiency enforcement came off as mean.

Nice place. But its better to add more bakery.

Went to this costa at 10am and the 2 lady’s working seemed very unhappy to be there that day and had made one very messy coffee. About half way done my drink a new member of staff had just started there shift and within minutes of starting she had cleaned plenty tables with a smile and then proceeded to give me a new coffee for free as the mess I was making with heaps of coffee leaking from the glass. She had black hair and a few piercings and a lovely attitude

Hot chocolate without chocolate taste but with a sweet taste. Fair service, charming place

This branch is really peaceful and chill. I usually sit by the window and it gives you a really nice view of people walking past. The iced americano with a salted caramel brownie is a great combo and tastes amazing.

For a rainy day, this was the perfect place. Fell in love here. 'nough said.

Good place for a coffee and a chat

Visiting from the United Statesand I'm a coffee drinker. I went a couple of times and it was great. Fast service and good coffee.

Lovely Costa. Quite small but the staff are friendly and the place is clean.

It's handy for work and the service is good.

The shop is usually very busy in the mornings and Dimitra always makes sure people are served well. From the customer point of view, Dimitra always solves problems efficiently and with confidence. Makes a difference in a such busy area.

Not enough seating. Had to wait 20 minutes for a chair. Coffee was ok I guess

Stopped in as I needed somewhere to work for half an hour where I could guarantee quick service, sockets and wifi, or at least thought I could guarantee it. I found there were only two sockets in the entire place - one was at a seat that was taken and the other one was completely inaccessible as it was tucked behind an immovable metal table leg so there was no space for a plug. I really don't recommend it as a workspace if you have a laptop with a larger plug!

Fantastic very pleased with the service of the staff, with the quality of coffee and food. The whole process was smooth and awesome.

We have spent the last three mornings breakfasting here and have enjoyed the coffee and hot chocolate with lovely fresh croissants, panettone and tasty banana cake. The staff are friendly and professional, altogether a congenial experience.

Leckere Kaffeespezialitäten. Unbedingt auch die Muffins und Cookies probieren... sehr zu empfehlen!

Incredible ambiance and absolutely love the windows. I was well and truly shocked at the size of the regular cappuccino. It blew my mind out of the windows. The server was lovely and recommended a drink for my wife which turned out exactly as she had ever hoped and dreamed. Thank you Costa. Wicked.

I have been visiting Costa for a long time but then covid happened. I recently started going back and it was really good to meet people who I've seen before. The staff are very friendly and helpful too.

Lovely Latte large with semi skimmed milk and gingerbread syrup. Although there was a wee wait to be served staff informed me of a 5 minute wait. Worth the wait for a lovely hot coffee on a cold winter day.

Costa coffee, what can I say? It's a coffee shop! It was the 1st of January, the staff were quite busy and the tables were quite dirty.

staff often don’t know how to make drinks, many times have been given the wrong drink while they insisted it was what I ordered and ended up paying more than the cost of the drink I was given (e.g, paid for a drink that costs £4.30 and given the wrong drink, which had I ordered it would have only been around £3.50)

Barista was nice, however coffee only ok. I had a free coffee to use but was charged 50p for the syrup which I think is a bit cheeky.

Was only there for a tea/coffee and toastie. The staff were friendly but it took a little time to be completely served, hanging around the service area with no defined place to wait. It's a bit run down and noisy. I think it's overpriced for cakes.

I would like to give a big shout out to the Greek lady who is making my coffee every day! Her customer service is exceptionally good. Always right order, very quick and with great smile on her face. They also have a two trainee girls who seem to be not interested in working hard 😓 Thank you so much for your hard work! Xxx

It's hard to find a good cup of coffee in the UK by my standards. I also like it sweet. This was almost the only palatable coffee on our trip.

Think they had 2 trainees on and the person training was in no way vocal or helpful to them, every order I seen go out was wrong. However it is still all nice just would expect differently from a company this large Not blaming the people on training in anyway but maybe have a 4th person who can help especially during peak times. I'm sure it will be different next time I visit but until then this is all I can say

really bad experience, went there 3 times over the past 2 weeks and they never had oat milk, if they know oat milk is that popular they should be able to provide it!!!

Sadly any spare tables were covered in mugs, trays and plates, with no sign anyone had cleared them for some time, we also had to hunt for anything that was gluten free. Only 2 staff on were rushed off their feet, coffee was good though..

Was in town with family and we were a bit on the cold side so coffee and food were in order. Staff very friendly and served quickly. Place was clean and tidy. I always use Costa anyway so was always gonna be a good review

Interesting exhibition (Ray Harryhausen) though most of the exhibits didn't really consider the height of a person in a wheelchair so my neck ached by the end. I did have fun, playing in the final room but unfortunately the coffee machine broke just before we got to the café.

It's a Costa you know what you are getting. The staff were incredibly friendly even though it was busy and they had some daft customers to deal with.

A little tired looking, and a fairly standard Costa. Food, service and drink acceptable but nothing you don't get at any Costa.

Most of the staff members appear to have had a personality transplant . Especially the regular miserable looking manager who let a bunch of kids walk in and eat crisps in the cue with their mask on the chin then publicly ordered me to move to another position even though I was waiting with my mask on socially distanced . No manners either act like they are doing you a favour for going through the motion of a pre set service dreamt up. By head office . I’m not at all surprised that the staff here provoke such a negative response from the public that they have to have signs up demanding respect for just existing . No one cares about that anymore too many double standards when it comes to social distancing. It’s obvious this company has gotten too. Big too concern itself with basic service etiquete . Something and off is what staff should be told here on. daily basis. With their lax covid standArds and unfair use of it.

My coffe was burnt and it was bitter. I have never had this kind of experience in Costa. I was disappointed.

Very clean. Track and trace at entrance. Seating only on one side of the Cafe. Staff very helpful and friendly as always. T&T wouldn't load on my phone so staff got laptop and did it for me. One of my favorite places to go for coffee ☕
