The staff at the Gravesend site were very friendly and helpful, the service being served was quick and efficient, the coffee shop was very clean and tidy, would recommend this store.

It's just full of people from the middle east who do nothing but shout over one another. Toilets are always filthy. The manager has a face like thunder all the time and is rude. Middle eastern people take all the seats outside without making a purchase. The manager gets her friends to push in line rather than serve the patiently waiting customers.

Member of staff moped our feet.. complained but told store closing in half hour & need to clean..

So very disappointing. 5 people behind the counter and they still serve your tea in a dirty unpolished glass with dirty tea spoon ( never had tea served in a glass that mostly used for coffees) cakes far from fresh. Place extremely loud, untidy and not suitable for any conversation. With so many people working you’d expect to be perfect in every aspect of customer experience. Would give 0 if could.

Coffee very good but the lady that served me was very rude - rolled her eyes when I said I was eating in - she didn't even say thank you - if it was busy I could understand but it wasn't. Will probably go to Starbucks next time - sorry but very poor customer service.

Great coffee service was good but slow , clean, nice seating and arranged to suit most people, it was busy as usual and not easy to have a conversation, but still a pleasant friendly atmosphere, 😊

We only had coffee witch was wonderful. Staff were happy and friendly and helpful. It was very clean and tidy.

How u can sell coffe to children’s 12 -13-14 years old ??? In shops no one from 14-16 without parent permission can’t buy coffe or energy drinks (18years old ) from shops . If u selling for child’s What drinks u killing whem … u must do ID checks . And write In shops allowed just from 16 or 18 years old .

Ordered a coffee from here and unfortunately it was inedible. When I asked for a refund the staff were unapologetic and rude. I paid card and they insisted on paying me in cash. When the money was given she practically threw it at me. Very bad customer service and would never go back.

This place knows me now. 6 shot (large black americano plus 2 extra shots) All run through coffee (a long americano all water goes through the beans. Takes 6 mins but tastes amazing) customer always right..... Thank you for your amazing service 🙏

Located in a very convenient place with an easy access for people coming to the town centre. All the shops are near by. It can be used for a quick bite, break from work, having to meet someone.

Always friendly and helpful, they carry my tray for me as I use a walking aid and let me go and sit whilst they do my order.

The blond European woman is just awful! She talks at you and not to you and during my visit another customer had to return her food twice because it was cold in the middle. The same staff member then took the food from the customer and then proceed to lob it across to the bin with more than half of it ending up on the floor. She spoke at me instead of to me and overall one of the worst staff members at Costa.

This costa is abit dull and grubby, service is slow. Toliets need attention every hour as they are terribly bad.

Worst experience of my life. So silly I’m here. Wont be coming back anytime soon 😂. Need some proper staff

I'm a regular here, I tend to sit in after I've just been to the gym (so basically no one sees me with wobbly legs looking like a pleb); also makes a lovely cheap daddy-daughter date when it's my turn with the kids :)

This Costa is dreadful compared to other ones I visited. Came in on a Friday to claim an offer on my Costa app- buy a cup of coffee and get a cake for £1, unfortunately their tills were down and the staff member said I could return the next day to claim it. Returned as promised with a receipt and reiterated what I was told on the Friday then was told by the staff I couldn’t claim this offer as it had past and as it was only valid on a Friday they can’t warrant this offer and I would have to wait till the next Friday to get another offer. Well they shouldn’t have said I could claim it and as their tills were down they should have allowed it as a gesture of good will and it seems very petty for a big company like Costa. Also the staff always seem very condescending and not that pleasant at all. Think I’ll stick to my Nespresso machine at home from now on.

Terrible experience. This is for the management. Staff here are very rude specially tall European lady with big eye lashes who is making coffees. She has no idea how to speak to customers. This is a shame for costa coffee and not good for other staff . Before giving her a job she need to get trained or go back to proper school.

The fake blonde with larger lips and dark Russian eyelashes (just the description) is very sneaky, desperate and rude. I ask for a latte to use my ‘buy a hot drink and buy a cake for £1’ and ‘she added it’ and said the price £6:30 and I paid reluctantly, I was waiting for my oder and while i waited I was thinking of getting my receipt and I did and the discount WAS NOT added. NOW it is reasonable she forgot BUT when I asked (while paying) why it was that price she said it was because she added the discount while pointing at the screen LIKE SHE ADDED IT when it was clear she didn’t as I got the receipt back. I was flabbergasted because she lied to my face. Anyways i am not a conformational person but I had to confront her because this is was no accident… I was walking back to ask for my money back and the lady knew why I was walking back because she kept glaring at me and whispering like I can see u darling. I ask another staff for my money back and I explained the situation and she gave the remainder of the money Ew customer service. If ur desperate for a caramel frappe with cream no coffee then go there but other than that everything there is extremely mid even the latte I had was horrid. :)

Very good as usual. Espresso and macchiato are close to Italian one, however there were not vegan desserts. The other desserts available were very good.

Its ok. Staff arent very friendly. They dont welcome or try to interact with anyone, except each other. It sometimes looks as tlthough it needs a good clean!

Alright shop but the app is truly terrible. Words can't describe how revolting and gut wrenching my experience with the app. As a privileged white male I gasped that I only received 1 bean instead of a promised 5. The app is just a monopoly money making scheme and the parliament must take action on these crooks

Visiting the UK and a friend suggested I check it out. I’ve gone twice and I will not go back. First trip: the woman behind the register barked at me instead of speaking to me like a human. Second trip: they wouldn’t let me purchase a sandwich they had on display (5 of them to be exact) because none of them were “the right temperature.” I assumed she’d probably just pulled them from the cooler in the back and they needed to warm up a bit. When I asked if it could be heated she said no. On top of that she was rude and offered no solution. I left and won’t be going back. Why put out product if the customer won’t be allowed to buy it?! Also: they need better customer service.

Asked if the croissant was fresh from that morning 30 minutes after they opened, I was told it was..... It wasn't.

Staff unfriendly, not willing to help, felt unwelcomed. I won't come back here.

Not the nicest Costa - whilst I queued for a flat white (slow slow service) by the cake counter I could see fruit flies had infiltrated one cake stand whilst next to that a blue bottle was crawling over the millionaires shortbread as the staff had not placed the heavy glass cover properly. Won't be revisiting for a coffee and definitely not any food that isn't in a plastic wrapper. Grubby and unpleasant.

The server wasn't overly welcoming, especially when she learned my coffee was free courtesy of Vodafone. Now I know why I go to Coffee Republic

Quite busy so had to sit downstairs. However the smell of paint was quite strong.

Ordered an ice coffee, in a large cup, the waitress repeated ‘medium’ to my face and started making it. Of course I was charged for a large. The workers need to listen a little more clearly.

Came in on a few occasions. First time I ordered a simple hazelnut late, they charged me the extra for the syrup that they never added. The second time I ordered the same drink only in a large, the barista charged me for a large, however my drink was in a medium cup… is it honestly so hard to get the size right and to put in a pump if syrup?

Very bad customer service, Never had such experience with any other Costa before, I bought few coffee and few bag of sandwiches as well, they don’t provide bag with handle to takeaway customers, staff was soooo rude here, won’t come back to this costa again!!!

I went there last Sunday, there was only four people front of me waiting to be served it was about 35 minutes before I was served , I ordered two drinks and two wraps which wasn't ready when my drinks were so I went and sat down a little while later my food was brought out I was asked if the food was mine of I said yes I was then informed they don't do table service,they used bring food in the past without a problem needless to say I wasn't very Happy.
