A cozy cafe near a large supermarket, there is not always a place to sit down and drink coffee. The food is not bad, but a larger supply is definitely needed)) in the afternoon, the selection is not very large. In general, this is a good cafe with pleasant staff.

5 stars - the team here are really good and polite, especially how busy they are.

Very poor service & attitude towards my partner for a quiet period on a Saturday afternoon. Younger lad must learn accuracy & politeness if he’s working it retail.

The server on the till was rather abrupt. The staff member making the orders seemed very confused about what orders were for who. Tables not cleared or cleaned. It didn't even seem that busy, although it may have been prior.

I always love a good costa, although lately ive been feeling like this costa is getting dirtier every time i go there. I only went yesterday and there was cups, plates, etc. Just all over the tables, but putting that aside its a great little shop to pop in and get a drink to relax with. (Bought the blueberry bubble frappe with a friend)

Often pop in here after doing my supermarket shopping. Always found seating available inside, service is good and staff friendly and quick. Coffee is great, as is the selection of cakes / sweet treats.

Needed more staff over the Easter weekend the two people on in the afternoons deserve medals for keeping the place open they were run off there feet and management need changing for allowing just two people on in the afternoons over Easter. or pay them more money.

Lovely people serving this morning really excellent service.

Fast coffee? No chance. Normally wait for at least 20mins for a takeaway coffee, even if no queue. This morning I walked out after waiting at the till for 40mins behind a line of frustrated customers watching the inexperienced staff (no management to be seen!) mess up 3 drinks before telling each other how to do their jobs. The only time this shop runs well is when the girl with blonde hair (who has been there for a number of years) is working, all other staff, including the store manager, just don’t have a clue or evidently care about customer service.

Friendly staff who are quick to process orders. Drinks always a very good standard. Food pricey but that's COSTA.

Breakfast wrap and a coffee very good on a wet morning in December. Decent customer free WiFi as well.

Worst Costa I've ever been. Thankfully I had a free drink so th e ghastly experience was at least no expense. Normal costa queue when you arrive. Really unusual that the customers who all glared at you when walk in. I pass through this town for work and first am visit for a coffee. The 4 customers ordered complex beverages which led to a further 20min wait for a take out latte. Barista got drinks wrong multiple times so it took 35 mins to get my basic take out drink. No staff shortages apparently, business as usual this Costa. Do not recommend at all.

The worst costa I’ve ever been to!! Was served by someone called beccie, service wasn’t good and I was given vegan cream instead of regular:/ I don’t understand how you can mess up a simple hot chocolate on more than one occasion!!

They have put prices up AGAIN with out telling anyone untill you have ordered and paid. This is happening every 6 monthes now without advanced warning.

The staff here have always been friendly. I dont much like the coffee. My wife loves it. Luckily for me, they do nice tea.

Really enjoy the atmosphere. Staff are friendly but unobtrusive. You are allowed to enjoy your time without being rushed. Staff are knowledgeable about coffee making and work as efficiently as they can. There can be queues because it is a popular place to visit.

The cinnamon bun isn't as good as it was as they've taken the icing away that used to be drizzled on top. Good coffee but you can buy granules that are just as good now. The staff however are lovely and friendly, they are helpful too.

Poor customer service, one colleague just attending to her family on a table, swearing etc. My partner and I wanted a chocolate Frap and I wanted a hazelnut coffee - neither where available. So got another Frap which was basically warm milk. Watched my food get thrown onto the counter then put into a plate. We asked for literally one sauce and they forgot that also. If it was busy I would be a bit more understanding. Won’t be coming back to this costa that’s for sure! Just awful, almost £20 for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks.

I went to shepton Costa yesterday and I may as well asked for a glass of milk, could barely taste the coffee what a waste of money.

Bought a bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich and a mint frappe and received food poisoning and an uncountable amount of vomitting episodes. I know for a fact it isn't due to any allergies as I've had the same many times from different restaurants and even some Costas.

Called in Costa on very wet day at 5.30. Around 10 customers. Girl serving was clearly irritated that nobody leaving 1/2 hr before close. Think people were staying as much to annoy her as due to rain. Didn't feel at all welcoming. Most seats closed off for cleaning although none taking place. Update 2. Dishwasher allegedly not working. This was the excuse for serving in takeaway cups and packets. Whatever did cafes do before dishwashers eh?

Excellent service. Atmosphere is more akin to an independent than a corporate, a difficult balance.

I will not go here again,woman with long hair & glasses needs to attend customer service classes & I have never seen coffee being put in cup after milk, the coffee was a cup of milk, very bad service, ,COSTA TRAIN YOUR STAFF.

Just clueless about making coffee I'm afraid, in a pinch. Go, but if you have choice...maybe go somewhere else

Avoid avoid avoid!!! Never been somewhere so obviously clickey, even the staff! Was not made to feel welcome by the girl serving us. Miserable as sin, but the lady behind us who was next in the queue got treatment fit for the Queen. We gave it another try and similar vibes on the second visit! We will never come back here and Costa UK should really come in and mystery shop this place!

We went for couple of drinks app wasn't work and stressful week. We were greeted by lovely lady and her colleagues, very quick waited for less than a minute and away we go with our Christmas drink, mine even came with a the purple sweet went down a treat. As we left she gave us a gift and said "here's an early Christmas present". We were very surprised as we don't normally get such good service from shops but she put the spirit in Xmas. Thank you guys! 🎄🎉🎄

Lovely big Costa. The staff are all friendly. The only downside for me, as I am from Bristol I know that Costa in Bristol doesnt shut until late. But this one closes at 5 or half 5 and its annoying that I cant get an after work coffee lol. But hey ho that's countryside life for you.

Not at its best today. The hot chocolate ( without any extras) was as thick as treacle! Other items and service fine.

If you dont like something sickly sweet. This may not be your ideal first place to pick. I dont like things very sweet, so I always feel sick when I go there.

I don't like chains and this reinforced my prejudice. Poor quality expensive plastic mass produced unhealrhy food. Okay but unremarkable coffee.

Music too loud! Been to other Costas no problem.

So nice to have a Barista know how to make a decaf costa light still!!! Please put it back on the menu

A trendy place, i.e. somewhere that's made to look much older and more traditional than it is.

Think place had been busy as tables needed clearing. Staff always friendly. It's a shame dogs aren't allowed in as with other coffee places. This does affect my choice of where to drink sometimes, especially when weather not good.

A double espresso? More like a luke warm ordinary black coffee in a small cup. I know it was a busy lunchtime, but....if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Not worth waiting in a queue and not worth the money. Train your baristas to do a better job

There is a large selection of drinks to either sit in or takeaway. I do find that the hot chocolate that I tend to have is nice. But most of the time, it is not as hot as the name suggests it might be. Friendly staff, but sometimes I do feel a little rushed, so they can get on with the next customer.
