Costa Coffee in South Lanarkshire

Under measure of drink. Own 20oz costa cup, ordered a medium with extra shot. On ordering, Carla informed me the cup will not be filled (expectedly), however the measure was well below 16oz line. When I questioned it, Carla abruptly defended her actions and reluctantly topped up with milk. Poor customer service.

I love their coffee and cakes! There's plenty of seating, it's quite peaceful, and I didn’t have to queue at all. A perfect spot to relax and recharge during a trip.

My husband and I stopped here this morning at 730am as I was feeling ill , I was sick and got worse and the staff were amazing , they called the paramedics and couldn't. Thank you all.

Hate these places ... rip off prices and 1 out of 10 for quality of products.. avoid is what I would say about these places

Ordered 3 Cappuccinos , which was prepared cold , Not happy with service.

Chaos, very little choice, very cold, surfaces needed good clean.

Hot water boiler was broken but Kerry could not have been more helpful in helping my wife get HW from whsmith and then doing a one shot coffee for her. So helpful and very pleasant and polite . Thank you Kerry.

Nice place, all sorts of shops were available. Good place to take a break while travelling.

Quick service and plenty seating

Stood in line to be served Server was rude to the man in front after she gave him the wrong order and had to remake it (rolling eyes tutting etc) then when he asked for a cookie aswell she let out a massive sigh and really seemed like she couldn't be bothered I know there's some difficult customers out there but this guy from where we were didnt seem to be rude decided to leave as we wanted 4 coffees and didn't want to push her over the edge

Didn't get a coffee,the queue was too long ,not enough staff to cope !!

Two motorcyclists popped in for coffee. Heading back home to york Nice and clean place , chatty lady on the till. Service was good, made to feel welcome

Usual services Costa experience. No mere dusting of chocolate on the cappuccino, instead you get a big fat dollop of powder. No worries, I stir it in anyway (call me a pleb, I don't care).

It's Costa... Good in an emergency. The coffee is always very weak for my taste. I accept it may be ok for others.

Kerry at the Costa Coffee is AMAZING! If you go, make sure you get their iced cappuccino from Kerry as she does it perfectly EVERY TIME!!!

Roadchef signed...expecting food? Nope... just a Costa with very little to offer...and a WHSmiths with no sandwiches. Waste of a stop.

The worst costa in Lanarkshire. Never have I had a full Coffee from this store. Always under filled and often not very warm. Better heading on to the next costa.

Popped in for a hot chocolate and a break from driving, friendly staff quite shop.

Quick stopover on our way to Scotland on a coach. Only had a few minutes but service was quick and friendly.

Somebody really needs to have a look at this place .The prices have gone beyond what is reasonable for ordinary people ie 2 takeaway coffees and a toastie£15 Bothwell services is functional but as an experience its an absolute tip .

Amongst a drive from the Scottish Highlands onwards to Manchester, this was a lovely sight. Didn't want to deal with the traffic in inner Glasgow either and the staff made everything with no fuss and a smile.

Very poor Costa at these services. Poor staff were friendly, but not enough of them. They needed more help. Poor selection of food and snacks, no clean cutlery and general cleanliness was poor.

Paulina was just amazing. Very friendly and handled my early morning mood very well. Fantastic service and cheerfulness.

Normally very good but we nipped in for a drink on the way home and I asked for a chai latte in my travel mug. I hadn't quite finished my previous drink so there was cold coffee in the bottom. The girls just put my chai latte on top of my left over coffee 🤯 A luke warm dirty chai 🤷‍♀️ I should have complained but we were in a hurry.

Costa always warms my hands after a long journey into Glasgow, 10/10 taste and always seem to have a seat for me.

Excellent service, the barista “Alex” was particularly friendly. All the team are top drawer. WILL BE BACK !!!!

Terrible customer service I've ever ha,their employees don't even care about their customers, no manner no respect so wouldn't recommend them, if you get coffee from machines in shops way better than them.

Nearly closing time, so no hot food available. Coffee good as expected, and the guy serving was polite and friendly.

Was working nearby popped in for a latte. Yah am a fan of Costa coffee. Enjoyed the 10 min break and the latte.

Costa is at Bothwell motorway services. Small outlet with limited seating.Toilets and WH Smith shop on site. Drinks and food are what you'd expect from Costa and higher prices due to the location.

Motorway services but only Costa & WHSmiths open. Seems food section closed and gone. May not be a services much longer. Girl on duty very, very nice and friendly. Possibly glad to have someone to talk to.

Got a hot chocolate..it was awful..

Girl served someone who was after me and my friend we wanted frappes she started to make them and had no cream we asked for money back but it was going to take so long we had to just take them without cream as we had to get back on coach

Wish we had checked our drinks before leaving Bothwell services, both not what we asked for and we're disgusting. Would like money back. They didn't listen to order and gave me a white chocolate with vanilla and cream not an ordinary choc with mallows n cream. The other drink was missing the vanilla completely!! And one girls hair was long and bunched to the side and dangling into the metal jugs 🤫😪😔

Stopped off for a coffee and decided to sit in and have it. Coffee was lovely but the tables hadn't been wiped down from previous use and didn't seem to be anyone checking or cleaning them during our time there.

It is a Costa with everything you expect. the difference is the two lovely young ladies that served me. Friendly and the difference between bland and leaving with a smile facing 5 hours on the road. thank you! 👍

Grim, flys all over the counter, and inside the cake display. When alerted to a fly landing on things like like bakewell the women just rolled her eyes and did nothing.

This was an okay place. The cheese and ham toastie was nice.

Stopped after very long drive from Aberdeen on Tuesday last afternoon and had another 230 miles ahead of me to go. Lovely young man made me cappuccino with the cutest chocolate sprinle on top. He was so happy and nice. He was so nice to his colleagues as they had little chat. I didn't get to see his name badge without my glasses on. It put a smile on my face and the coffee was very good. Well done great customer service

Warm brew at vastly expensive price. Independents coffee shops offer better tasting,and hotter drinks at a lesser price

We stopped on our way back from Oban to get out of traffic jam on motorway, site a bit basic as a service area , the number of tables scaled down due to covid Our grandson said best macaroni cheese he had ever had

It's just a Costa Coffee place, not much different to any other one.

My favourite of all Costa, loveliest wonderful team, we left our wafer biscuits on the counter a gorgeous fellow came out to the car park to make sure we had them. This level of care is above and beyond and made the coffee experience really great. The portion size of coffee is bigger than others too.

Closed unfortunately due to covid.

Always a good stop when traveling 👍
