Awesome place and good quality of drinks and snacks

Good coffee, clean , friendly staff

Not eaten there but met my brother and his wife there had a rew smoothie type drinks

Rather noisy compared to normal as there was a protest march going past the venue.

Consistently well brewed coffee, by highly experienced baristas.

Decent coffee shop. Prices as you would expect from this chain.

Typical Costa experience, food and drinks are very nice, service was quick and friendly. The cafe, however, is looking very tired and not very clean. Could definitely do with a makeover. Water stains around the vents and stains on the walls and tables. Even the teapot had, what looked like, chocolate stains on it.

No vegan options at 3pm on a Thursday, this is ridiculous

Shabby busy staff , not organised with stuff all over the floor and in even tables, not fun food served dry and cold .

Had a free cake as a birthday present from Costa. Staff very helpful. Good atmosphere,friendly chat with a guy on next table. Very nice half hour break

You know what you're getting from Costa, and if you like it, you like it! However, what you can't guarantee is the staff. Luckily the staff here was great!! Really friendly, helpful, always have a smile for customers and happy to help however they can. I make an effort to go to this Costa when the urge for a coffee takes me

Clean and tidy but it was first thing in morning, hot chocolate very good.

Visit here quite frequently as I work in Cardiff , staff are fab really accommodating. Food is really nice, it’s right in the heart of the shopping centre

Come to this coffee shop if you like nature documentaries or the zoo as its prime location for animals just passing by. Like the time when the released Hippos of Pablo Escobar were rampaging at the local Christmas stalls or when the drunken baboons from the nearby pub decided to have a brawl, you get to have front view seats for the show for free. Like some of these people can literally neutralise industrial grade acid for being that basic. Anyways, nice location, mid inside as its busy but they do clean the cups very quickly.

With Costa the other end of St David’s somehow not able to serve in proper crockery we ventured through town to here. Similar staff levels but running like clockwork. The staff were polite, efficient and got through an equally long queue as the other store for far more ease. The usual Costa experience here.

Great morning tourist breakfast place! As a tourist in Cardiff i was searching a place to eat breakfast. I chose Costa Coffee because they open at 0730am. Fortunately i enjoyed the experience. I had a Medium Latte, a ham and cured cheese sandwich which they heated up for me, and maple and hazelnut blondie bar. The staff was wonderful, clean location, comfy environment, and everything was tasty! . I will return if i get the Chance!

I’m a former costa worker and I was quite disappointed with the drink I was given . I ordered a gingerbread cream latte but most of the drink was cream and the coffee tasted a bit burnt- almost over extracted . I don’t like writing bad reviews but I was quite upset to see that the staff member who made my drink was okay to serve it like this . Staff were super friendly and working hard to keep the flow going . However sometimes it’s quality over quantity . The blue line on the picture is where it was cream from the top, just under the T ! Sorry guys for the bad review but please do costa standard :(

Staff of Costa split up my coffee and did not change the cup. Just give an extra one.

We visited this Costa on a Monday morning. There were quite a few other customers here at the time but there were still plenty of tables available. The staff at the till were very friendly and helpful and we were very happy with the drinks they made. Prices were a little high but comparable with similar city centre coffee shops and chains. As someone who can't drink caffeinated drinks for health reasons, I am always pleased with the decaf options Costa provides at no additional cost.

A nice place to sit down for a cup of tea/coffee and something sweet or savoury to eat, slap bang in the middle of Cardiff. Usual reasonably priced food and drinks you'd expect from Costa. No photo as I only had a cup of tea.

Coffee bar in the centre of Cardiff great for people watching. Seats outside, good choice of drinks and food.

Had a coffee and a cake with my wife as we often do found that the cups were not clean have also noticed cups not clean in other Costa store's

On our first visit the staff couldn't do enough for us, on the visit on Friday 31st sadly it was more like we was an inconvenience to them, very rude and very sharpe. Its amazing how same guy serving can be so different on the 2 visits!!

Great service, was clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. My coffee was made perfectly. The only downside is the regular toilets are up a pretty step set of stairs.

Absolutely love Costa in Queens Street the staff are so kind and friendly. I would especially like to thank the young lady who on Friday 16th December gave me a mug of hot water to warm my hand around she really was so sweet to do that. I cannot fault anything or anyone there they deserve such big thanks.

I got to the store, and when I signed into the free app, I was told i could have a free drink, which I got with oat milk so only cost me 45p, but my daughter (14 with ADHD) the app told her the same thing then when she clicked though to the voucher it vanished and the staff couldn't or wouldn't help her with the problem so I offered to just buy the drink but it had become a bit of a principle thing with her and she she wanted the the same deal I got so refused to let me buy her one.

This Costa was way too busy, not the fault of the staff, but the whole place was a mess. Dirty tables, awful toilet and not enough staff on duty

Just ok. Coffee ok and served in a take out cup but drank in side. Only one toilet very busy but nothing special.

Costa was busy but very fast taking peoples orders. Lay out is different. I would like to thank Jonathan for making my day better. Great customer service and very positive energy. And a lovely hot chocolate.

Usually great place for coffee etc but let down lately by not having any cream.

A good place for your favourite beverage, toasted sandwiches, paninis, cake or biscuits. Also available are branded mugs and coffee blends to recreate the Costa experience at home!

Nice hot choocolate. Nice staff. Don't like Costa's maple hazelnut range - what about people with nut allergies?

Costa Coffee is a very busy place. It is always very full. I walk past to either go into St David's or to come out of St David's depending on which area I have come. from

Visited yesterday and despite the hot weather they were not able to make any iced drinks due to "circumstances beyond their control". I settled for a hot chocolate instead and a pack of shortbread, and they were nice but it was expensive. The staff were friendly and I was served quickly.

Lush coffee and toast good service

Couldn't fault a thing hot chocolate and millionaire shortbread was lush, staff were chatty and friendly. Shop fully stocked and clean.

Changed their coffee, asked if we would like the smoother more expensive coffee but staff so mean spirited, are frightened to give enough milk..at these prices at this time. These greedy companies cannot make enough money from their customers. Shame on them!

Costa Amaricano with shortbread the only way to improve this is a repeat order.

Only takeaway cups available as dishwasher broken. Slow to clear tables and wipe between customers. Toilet not great, v wet on floor round toilet bowl...which looked disgusting. Staff pleasant

Very expensive coffee but Very nice coffee

Staff are very safety conscious. They usher you to a sanitised table for your exclusive use before you go to place your order. We'll done Costa. Table numbers are reduced due to covid but I am amazed how many company reps hold meetings here, usually for hours and just make a coffee last a long time, whilst others have to wait outside before they can get a table. This attitude is extremely inconsiderate during this time of restriction. Naturally losing a great deal of custom for Costa.

Clean tables, friendly helpful staff and delicious coffee. I ordered a Ruby hot chocolate with Oat milk for my daughter who is an incredibly fussy eater. And hard to please She loved it. I had my usual, a large decaf latte with Almond milk. Yum

Staff a lot more welcoming than at some of the other Costas near by. When we visited they were running low on a few of the (savoury) vegetarian and vegan options which was a shame.
