Costa Coffee in Manchester

Staff are always so friendly, plenty of places to sit, including upstairs. Always appreciate the free WiFi!

Not sure why Costa Coffee is not as hot and warm as it usually was.

I had about an hour to kill and I was in didsbury so I looked around and spotted a Costa, they're usually ok so I popped in for a coffee. I had an Americano and it was quite nice and hot. I found a seat near the window and sat down. The staff were ok and it was a pleasant place to sit down with a coffee and just kill some time.

I had the absolute pleasure of having a coffee and toasties here today. The food and drink were good but the staff were absolutely amazing and kind and spent time talking to me as my wife is having treatment at christies. They were unbelievably kind and caring and deserve to be applauded for this. Thank you team love Nick(team Kate:)

Lovely staff and decent service but it’s a shame more attention isn’t given to the roof terrace - loads of clearing and cleaning indoors but the dishes were just left to pile up outside which spoils sitting outside in the good weather

Neat Costa Outlet right on the main Didsbury High Street. It is right at the corner- and spacious. Good seating space inside. Serving all usual Costa goodies and coffees. Gentle staff.

The barista made a very enjoyable Americano and delicious creamy hot chocolates for my children. A very clean and comfortable coffee shop, and after a long walk in Fletcher Moss, it was the ideal environment for my children to relax. I would also like to add that service provided as this particular branch was of a very high standard. I would highly recommend a visit. 10/10

Called in the other day and was served by a very pleasant and friendly chap who had a beard and glasses . Managed to find a spare table despite a lot of them being cluttered by people on laptops taking up full tables and apparently moving in for most of the day whilst making their coffee last .

Opening times are wrong. Costa website says it opens at 0630, google maps says 0630, the sign on the front door says 0630, but after standing patiently outside from 0630 the staff inside signalled to me they open at 0700. Such a simple thing to fix

Just want to take the time to compliment the staff at Costa Coffee,Didsbury for their consistency at being friendly and helpful each time I call in for my weekly treat,which I enjoy...thank you.

Good location, friendly staff lots of plugs on first floor so good for work when needed. Costa is however getting quite expensive...

Sadly doesnt open on time on Saturdays:( 3 weeks in a row had to leave for my tram as there was noone there at 8.10. Was freezing today and its only place that suppose to be open at this time. Would be grateful if the issue could be looked into.

I ordered a large Cappucino and noticed that the cup was half full of actual coffee and the rest was Foam! Anyone ordering a large coffee should test that as its a complete scam!! Disgusting Company! Never again will i spend money in there!

This place!!!! Is awful!!! Spend £30 plus and they send one item out of 6! And tell u to ssk for a refund how about do your job and cancel orders u cant fullfill

Waited hour to assign driver said delivered but we didn’t get it ..

I am not sure if sandwiches are pre made and sent to Costa. This also is wrong sandwich. Few days ago we order same toastie and it had nacho chips and chicken and cheese Also One week before,i ordered the same drink,and this time is wrong.

The Ghost Advertisment placed on the building by the family business is still in place. Worth the visit at the cost of a cup of coffee to see the history.

The bin design was more complicated than my mothers insides. The ad was on REPEAT!!!

In common with other Costa Coffee cafes, the tables are not cleared and when they are, they are not cleaned. Basic hygene demands that they should at least wipe the tables over. The lessons of the pandemic seem a distant memory.

Slooow staff. Downstairs is q crowded. Cappuccino was ok but I had walked out before realising I did not get my paid for bakewell tart

Staff have always been very friendly especially the store manager. But I'm disappointed as the vegan food offering just isn't great. Costa often send out marketing emails with vegan products but this Costa often doesn't stock them. Didn't even have the vegan toastie yesterday 😥

The place of the cafe is great, sitting in it is comfortable and the coffee is one of the best I drank 💖💖

No ice again dirty toilets and stale cake

The coffe was cold.It wasn't even drinkable.

Unfortunately had several bad experiences, once I purchased an ice coffee, it had 1 inch of syrup in the bottom and was undrinkable. I ordered a toastie through the app which they didn't have it in stock when I arrived. Staff were rude, I was told to contact customer services for a refund. 4 days later went back to say no one responded and I just wanted my toastie or my money back. Staff again very rude. No apology offered. Quality has also gone downhill since these new younger staff members have started.

Disappointed at Costa today, came in with my 10 week old baby in a pram and my dog. I used to come and eat in with my dog while pregnant and no issues but was told today I couldn't sit down, even though I'd just ordered be paid for eat in food and drink, and no outside space for me to go - so had to get a refund as couldn't carry a hot drink, food, dog and baby all at the same time. And was given attitude by the person serving. I felt really put out as a new mum who is only just feeling confident being out and about. Went to Caffe Nero and absolutely fine for us to sit in and they even brought a water bowl for the dog and were super friendly.

Im a regular customer of costa. Had bad experience by the staffs. Today is the 2nd time. I think they need a proper training. 😒

The Mango Bubble Frappé is very nice, I had a scone which was a little warm so made it taste nice rather than dry, good portion size for jam and clotted cream. My only gripe was the air conditioning was set to freezing.

Came in for a morning pick me up, despite understaffing the bloke on the till (didn't catch your name, sorry) made sure to serve every drink to brand standard and provided excellent service despite the neverending morning rush

Coffee prices need to go down guys.

First time visiting Costa Didsbury. What a fantastic staff you have here. I am on a stick and the chap who served me was extremely patient and helpful. My drinks and cakes were carried on a tray for me by another chap to my table, who again was very pleasant and could'nt help enough. Thank you very much for a pleasant experience.

This is my first attempt at this branch, I don't know, but I think my drink shouldn't be like this,it’s full ice in my strawberry frappe.

I went to drop my nespresso pods off for recycling. The team didn't seem to know anything about the scheme and when I asked for a replacement bag they didn't know what I was talking about. I actually found them myself dumped at the back of a display not in view for people to pick up. I think the recycling scheme is great but not if the staff dont know about it. Also, I was not very convinced that they were doing anything with the pods other than putting them in the regular rubbish - although its just a hunch, I have no evidence for this!

Horrible Experience with manager Eamon, I went into the store happy, friendly told them a milk delivery had been left out at Tesco store and that store is constantly closed in the morning, his response was "GET OUT" got aggressive very quickly... I was only trying to be helpful, I didn't deserve his anger at all...

As is the case in most chain cafes, the staff are overwoked and clearly struggling to catch up with customers and keep the tables clean. pretty much this is state of every Costa cafe I visit. The profit these chains make, can certainly afford them to employ one extra staff to each cafe! but they're not obliged to are they by any regulation!! otherwise, it's speacious cafe with okay coffee and friendly enough staff. Hour and a half with my table not cleaned.. I may as well have my coffee at home.. Please employ more staff

My favorite coffee place when I visit my friends and family in England, we don’t have it in the country where i live currently . People in Manchester love this place! Staying in a line for it but at the end everyone is happy which is the most important thing!
