Lovely customer service by the two guys who always works weekends. They work hard and provide good customer service to everyone.

Been a few times to the Erdington Costa. At the far end of the High Street. WiFi is fine here. In walking distance of the bus stops and closest railway station.

Very nice frindly staff a very good morning chat. They are very helpful and the drinks are nice had a terrys seasonal hot chocolate highly reccomend.

I don't normally use coffee shop outlets but find this particular site to be very friendly and unusually, caring. Today, whilst looking for a place to sit we noticed a vacant place but there was a hot coffee on the table and we started to look elsewhere. The lady at the counter called to us said it was fine to use as the person had suddenly upped and left. She said she tried to catch the person to offer to put the coffee in a takeaway container/cup. I thought 'not many people would bother to do that'. A very pleasant experience overall.

3 and a half stars Well I've been in here maybe 10 times now and my first thoughts were that the staff were not overly friendly. Maybe having a bad day(we all do) but after my 10 or so visits I've come to the conclusion that they are a moody lot.theres no back and forth in the conversation. It's impossible to get most of them to smile Coffees ok but they've got rid of the non-dairy milk,so I know a few of my fellow sufferers who only eat/drink gluten free are not coming in anymore(not this branch specifically) So getting less and less reason to visit I'm afraid

Currently in agony due to staff not listening to my dietary requirement. I asked twice ‘did you get that it’s with oat milk?’ ‘Yes’ the barista said! Meanwhile I checked the receipt and it didn’t even state the oat milk option!! Ruined my whole day, as now I’m unwell due to dairy milk being used! Staff were also loud and didn’t make the environment tranquil and was shouting to one another from the staff area to the coffee making section. They also mocked a customer who brought their drink back as the customer said they ordered something different.. the staff said you got what you asked for and all looked at each other in dismay so the customer had to drink it

I don't often leave reviews, but today I have to - I come to this Costa at least once a week and the service has always been stellar, but today they went above and beyond. Something was forgotten from my order (the first time this has happened) so I went back in to pick it up - not only did they apologise and give the missing item to me, they even gave me another one AND a free drink for the inconvenience. The staff here have always been lovely! Can't recommend this particular branch highly enough.

English tea £1 on app charged £2 dust in English tea so many times told them to change it not changed by white ladies so rude discriminating I was disabled felt bad drinking dusted tea they said it from pots not from tea bags there u go disgusting!!!

Ordered latte was cold male female workers rude kept on discriminating me looking at me as disabled lady how rude wouldn't go back again no manners as barristers waste off money cold drink !!

The service is usually good ,but today one of the workers (she was female with curly hair) was extremely rude and didn’t made the espresso properly it was very watery.

The drinks were great and the muffin was OK it tasted a little dry. There was only 2 members of staff who had to serve, clean and attend to everything.

So i visited the Costa inside the Odeon at Broadway Plaza. Most of what I tried to order being 'unavailable' was not what left me pressed. Not even being told to 'stand over there' by the lone assistant while they proceeded to serve another customer and not make my order annoyed me as much. What did take the biscuit however, was the behavior of another college on their return to the counter. Spotting what I perceived to be their friends in the queue, there were collective screams of excitement followed a gathering in a corner to hold a conversation which the first assistant then joined in with while I stood waiting for someone to attend to the small and expensive cold drink that I was still waiting for. I can understand that they were probably all gassed to see each other in that moment however, the customer experience would not have been as awful as it was if they'd been a little more professional and customer friendly. Trash.

I used to go there all the time and find such a nice staff and very friendly until today, is a girl over there that I don’t know her name but I can describe her( mixed white-black) with curly hair red-brown before 25 years old, I don’t know if she is new or not, but her attitude is really bad against customer, I been with my daughter as normal to have a coffee and for her asking for a cheddar and tomato sandwich, she been to the freezer changing all the staff, when I approach to get the sandwich she told me “don’t touch this, get one from there “ and I ask from where and she was giving me from where they get rid of them and are not in use anymore😑, is not first time with her but I thought it might be only once, two weeks ago I saw her again, and I been ordered and consumed inside the coffee place , but I didn’t get my receipt, few minutes later I asked if I can get the code for toilet because she didn’t giving me my receipt and she told me you need to buy something, and I told her, you just served me few minutes ago, and then she checked the receipt and been really angry and anger as today. Believe me I am not the single customer that complain about her, her attitude and manners are bad and rude.

Costa coffee, Erdington High Street. Both staff on duty on 8th Feb at 9.30 were rude serving a Muslim woman in scarf. They need training in customer service.

Iv been the last two Sunday’s and both have been a joke. Last Sunday all the front seating area was crammed together and the back area was blocked off. Meaning everyone was bundled together in close proximity, this was around 2pm in the afternoon. Today I entered at 3pm and before I could order my drink the girl behind the till said abruptly we close at 4! They also closed off the toilet using a wet floor sign by placing it through the handle and where telling customers the toilets where out of order. However when a police officer walked in he was able to walk to the toilet with no issue and was not told the toilet where out of order or closed… so go figure that one out !

Staff weren't very friendly. Toilet out of order, apparently has been for some months.

They gave me the wrong drink and completely different with what I’ve ordered and when I told them they’ve said you have to pay again and I had to pay again to get the drink that I wanted at first! Very disappointed and poor service. Avoid

This Costa is one of my favourites. The lighting is dim, warm and relaxing. The music isn't too loud and serves as nice background noise. The toilets are always clean and the staff are always friendly. Disabled toilets ✓ Non-Dairy alternatives ✓

Only one member of staff on and the que was literally out the door this is ridiculous for 9:00 am in the morning

Changed my star rating, just walked in (they close in 40mins), and the lady behind the counter said she just turned the grill off so she can't do hot food.

Don't trust the opening hours as they seem to close earlier and ignore you and other customers who are there although opening hours on the door and Google say differently.. and by the look of it I am not the only one with this experience.. Sorry Costa this was a disappointment..

Well, it's like this: 1) the coffee wasn't good 2) the staff weren't all wearing face coverings (one out of three isn't good enough!) 3) there were several spray bottles hanging up by the counter but when people left the tables weren't wiped, the guy just pushed the chairs underneath to make them look tidy AVOID at all costs

Coffee as you would expect (great) and always deservedly 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Costa have done all they can to create a relatively COVID-safe environment and service, but they can't account for me being the ONLY person in the shop (of 10-15 people) wearing a face covering at any point (obviously you can't wear it whilst eating/drinking but entering the shop, queueing and waiting!?)

Not a pleasant experience, too many Staff member's in the little area they prepare food & drinks. One of the Staff Members hair wasn't tied up in a bun so that alone put me off eating anything... The girl making the drinks was very polite still she did her best in these circumstances. There's a notice by the till that states no VAT will be charged yet very expensive on two Flat White Coffee's. Seems they're charging something extra. Anyway I won't be visiting that branch any more. Not impressed...

Nobody came in with a face covering on and nobody was approached about it, yet signs stated you had to wear one. Only one toilet working with a queue of 6 people waiting. The service was average as the female and male Batista's were too busy talking to each other than acknowledge us mere customers. I personally wouldn't go to this costas again

Everything's excellent! From the coffees to the friendly staff! The only thing that in my opinion could be better, is the hot chocolate. I think it needs to be a little more sweet and a little more "chocolatey" to the taste.

Good to see Costa at this high street... Location is good and lots of cosy seating... Staff also nice... Good if you are shopping there as mostly pedestrian area so no parking... The only reason to give to take off a star is that in such location surrounded by cafes you need to have better meal deals at least at the lunchtime...

A poor range of cakes, no croissants, no newspapers to read.

Nice enough staff and clean store. Was served the wrong drink and had to wait 15 minutes before getting a new one made for me. (The mr had to go up and remind them as they'd forgotten) Would be 5 stars if not for this mishap. Maybe it's just a busier than normal day but I've been in much busier costa stores without waiting more than 5 minutes for a problem to be fixed.. I've also never been forgotten about before !
