Costa Coffee in Hillingdon

Assistant manager of this costa(Alice) is very rude to junior employees. She attached personally on profession and pointing finger every time when she talk to junior staff. She dont have any capability to be a manager of any staff .My fiancée started working there from last 3 days and she is new to country and it was her first job. Because of her new girl in the country had very bad experience of work in uk. Its affected her mental and confidence. I hope senior manager of Alice can look into this matter. Because i checked other reviews and they also had same complains against her.

I recently visited costa and was surprised by the unprofessional behaviour of one of the managers. While the company seems to have potential, I witnessed the manager being unnecessarily rude and dismissive to junior employees. It's disheartening to see someone in a leadership position treat their team with such disrespect, especially when it's clear that a supportive environment leads to better performance and morale. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as fostering a positive work culture is essential for both staff and customers.

My sister working in this costa. Her manager(Alice) is very rude to her and my sister is mentally upset because of her. It was her first job in Uk and this rudeness affected her a lot. Very bad from someone who rude and attack personally on work.

The staff there is always friendly and polite. The premises are always clean. My double macchiato is always very tasty 😊

Pretty expensive, but very good service and the fact that you can soak up some sun when seated outside makes things even better.

Assistant manager (Alice )and senior employee (Hany)not behave well with junior employees and they became very rude in front of customers. I didn’t remember employees name excitedly.

Great Costa - the staff have always been friendly and make the drinks quickly!

A bit of a McDonald’s sauce experience. So ordered my drink on a few occasions but they never put enough syrup in. I have to always ask for more. They don’t have tissues on the counter, you have to ask. My daughter dropped some of her drink and when I asked for more tissue, I got a rude look. Will consider going to another costa as this one is quite hit and miss.

I was served by a lady whose name I believe was Heny who was really lovely and kind!😊 However, I was really upset to see the way management was speaking to and treating their staff. From what I witnessed during the short time I was there made me feel really uncomfortable and not want to return to the branch. I feel as if something should be done as the way in which the employees were being spoken to was unacceptable!

This is the second time I have been to this branch recently, and I noticed the atomsphere changing from ambient to very tense when the manager was trying to demonstrate to a member of staff how to make a drink. She started by saying no not like this in a rude way to the staff very abruptly. The poor lady was just taking the abusive treatment. I remember this manager serving me a few years a go and she was rude to me and I stopped going in this branch. The is issue here with this manager. I think Costa needs to address inappropiate practices in the work place at this branch.

Nice quite little coffee shop. Staff are very friendly. There are a few seats to sit outside on a sunny day.

Always a good service , speedy and kind. Unfortunately the pastries never seem fresh and cakes could do with a revamp. An ongoing issue with all Costa branches not specific to this one.

The food is okay. The pastries are not fresh unfortunately. The cajes are full of syrup, which is very disappointing. The drinks are nice. I like coming here because it's convenient and the staff are welcoming. A lot of mothers woth buggies likes to visit as it's very convenient

Me and my daughter love coming here, lovely friendly staff. Always helpful and patient with my daughter she has autism and talking can be very hard for her. Always smiling everytime we are there. Highly recommended.

Don't usually go in Costa, the coffee was good but why us it that online orders being collected take preference over actual customers? My toasties was ready but had to wait for 2 collections to be made up while it sat on the side!!! Why ???

Great coffee but the price of Cortado has gone up again to £2.55. Hence 2 stars off. Also, sadly, HS2 goons pollute the cafe with their unwanted presence rather than hide behind their fences and high court order as they should. I don't want to see anything HS2 when I go to costa to relax. I expect the rest of ruislip and ickenham feel the same way.

Flat white disguised as a small latte. The inconsistencies of the various Costa coffee shops is down to poor training. For what is a premium priced product. Ickenham branch.

This is our local Costa when we are in the UK. Always great service from such friendly staff. Coffee always good and always have a good selection of food / Cakes.

Best coffee shop in Ickenham by far! First time visiting a Costa in London - I got a message in regards to a free cake on my birthday as I had the app downloaded. the young man that served me was exceptional!! as I wanted to know if the cake had gelatine/alcohol etc. very informative! He went above and beyond and made me feel at ease. Wow great service today thanks so much!

Amazing staff and perfect coffee

Right on the high street... Great coffee and service. There is a good selection of sandwiches, panini's, crisps, juices etc. Also a good selection of sweet treats which are super tempting, great if you want to treat yourself 😁

Clean tidy and what you would expect from a Costa. Service is usually quick and reliable.

Very rude staff will not be visiting again and suggest anyone with children not to go there.our children were very well behaved all be it a bit noisy but as we were the only customers we were not upsetting anyone .however the staff were staring at us obviously talking about us and just dam right rude

I probably drink too much coffee. They have a great selection of hot and cold drinks and a decent snack menu, that keeps me going back for more. I’ve never been disappointed in anything I’ve bought from them and will continue to support them.

I don't know what's going on with this place. I used to pick up a coffee every morning and it was lovely. Strong and creamy cappuccino. Really nice. I've been three times in the past few weeks - and every time the coffee has been watery and weak. Really not enjoyable at all. After three attempts I've stopped going now. You can get much better coffee up the road. It's shame because it used to be amazing.

They got mixed the cups up and I had mango in my hunnycomb frostino and my friend had chocolate and hunnycomb in her mango cooler

Good hygiene. They adoped UV-C germicidal fan lights to keep ambient air sterile. (you can see them on the walls slight blue light is its giveaway) Opened doors for airflow keeping customers safe. Great company ensuring safety for all, staff cleaning tables all day long.

Anyone who wants to enjoy the taste of real coffee at Ickenham have to go to Costa, Nice coffee, nice place taken care by friendly staff. You will always feel at home. Good place for family. The words cannot describe the taste of coffee they serve,truly you have to taste it and see before making any comments.

Normal Costa store with normal menu. Small sitting area so feels a little busy, and often has lots of foot traffic.

The only Costa that doesn't fell like a dirty grubby pub where no one cleans. Always spotless. The italian manager always knows everyones orders even before they get through the door and knows how to communicate with people which makes a pleasent change. Keep up the good work 👍

Friendly staff, who were more than happy to have a chat when there were no other customers waiting to be served. Spotless facility, with disabled access and toilet spaces.

Nice seating area outside, pleasant staff. Would recommend if you're gasping for refreshment.

Staff are so good. The manager, Antoinetta, is so switched on and keeps the place looking as it did when it first opened. Fortunately, there isn’t, at present, a turnover of staff which seems to lower standards at other Costas. Long may that continue. And to the owners I would say keep liking after your current staff

Really disappointed. Twice I've been in over the last 2 weeks and what they serve as a flat white is more like a tasteless poor excuse of a latte. Love Costa, hoping with feedback and training this shop will improve.

Friendly staff and high quality coffee.

I come to this Costa a few times a week as the staff are so friendly & welcoming. I don't drink coffee so like the fact that Costa have a varied menu, offering plenty of choice for food & drink. The staff are always happy to make the drinks to my liking, & recommend new products that they think I'll like.

A nice and clean, but small Costa coffee house. Great for a quick lunch, Morning coffee or afternoon tea.

Decent place.. it's Costa.. cups left of tables not cleaned.. expensive for what it is.. only single toilets.. one for male and one for female..

I don't know if it is just this store but majority of Costas do not understand how to make a flat white. Let's hope, some sort of training is provided in the future. However, nice looking setting but lacks substance.

Doesn't seem to have caught on with the locals yet who appeared to be favouring the independent a few doors down. This meant there was loads of space on the occasion we visited. Staff were very helpful and service was unhurried.
