Costa Coffee in East Staffordshire

Over priced coffee. Do you think I'm an idiot. Il make my own coffee thank you very much.

One of the cleaner Costa cafes we know, therefore we chose to visit this one. Have previously had good service here, but today we did not get a smile and barely a grunting response when we ordered. We did get a polite reply from the person who kindly made our drinks when we said thank you. Drinks were lovely,.enjoyed them, not sure if there were toppings missed off my children's frappes, but chose not to and daren't ask. Service was just disappointing. More likely to go to Starbucks nearby next time.

Gave me a small hot chocolate when I asked for medium, I told them my drink was meant to be Oat milk nicely but they scowled at me. Also chucked my sandwich at me. The sandwich was nice though that's why it's 3 stars

This is only costa i know that takes so long to make drinks they take your order put your baps in to warm up and then they sit there goin cold whilst your order is still in the que

Arrived early for breakfast. Coffee & Almond croissant, which was lovely. Great service.

I enjoyed a nice takeaway latte and my daughter had a seasonal drink, but she wasn't impressed with the syrup sinking to the bottom of the drink, she works at ⭐💲 and said the technique could be improved to prevent that 😂. Generally though all good otherwise.

Experienced the lunch offer I saw advertised, fancying a panini/toastie so I selected the ham and cheese with a mocha. For £5.99 who is getting the good deal? That's well and truly this Coca Cola owned franchise. Excellent PR which is why they do so well. But this place is atrociously overpriced.

Called on way to a funeral. The lady making the coffee was lovely. But the cashier on the till was very cold .and threw the change at me .which dropped on the shelve .which I had to move goods to get my change .she didn't say sorry ,or thank you once. No smile .face like thunder .the lady who served me was called Zoe.at 10.15am .the other lady who was making the drinks was really nice .this lady called Zoe, need retraining in custmore service. I've worked 55 years in retail customer service.and I would never be that cold to someone. It upset me .I thanked the ladys as I left saying thank you ladys .but no response from Zoe. But the other lady said thank you buy.

Great selection of food and drinks. The table set up seems to have changed for the better. It's always busy when we go in but we mostly manage to find a table.

The 2 staff members who served us this morning obviously take a lot of pride in their roles. Fantastic service.

Just had a pot of tea, not much choice in food front as another shop nearby so only had drinks

Used this branch to catch up on work emails and enjoy breakfast. Staff were great and the location was perfect.

This is the newest Costa in Uttoxeter and it has a really lovely feel. The food and drink is the same as any other branch. The staff are friendly and attentive.

Always a great coffee and you don't wait ages in line like other costas

I love Costa a huge Costa addict spending a lot of time in Costas various, staff here are very friendly & helpful but whether morning, lunch or late, service can be very slow, never a great deal of stock in, as a family we have our usual favourites and often even at 1pm almost everything in every cabinet is gone.. never seem to be enough staff to clear tables and at weekends the tables are often stacked with empties long after people have gone and you have to move stuff and ask for cloths to wipe clean.. for the price Your charging Costa (which I'm OK to pay when all is good) you should be on top of these touches.. to wait over 20 mins to pay over £5 for 2 slices of toast with a smidge of cheese & 1 limp slice of ham and clean your own table is not great and tending to happen a bit too often at this store. Sorry..

Not a bad Costa, Nice service, and the standard of drinks you'd expect from a Costa store. Nice and clean, just lacking in atmosphere. Not the cosiest place to drink, not the comfiest seating.

A bright and clean Costa, what’s not to like. I suspect that on another day (not Wednesday late afternoon), that may not be the case. Food stocks were low (again a cause of the late visit) yet drinks were fine and some clean toilets too. Plenty of parking, so all in all at this time a good visit.

Lovely, clean shop. The member of staff serving was friendly and polite and quick to get the drinks made. No drive thru option.

Great service in this particular store we asked about the selection of iced coffees and I ended up having the fudge iced coffee which was very nice my wife also had the I think it was salted caramel or something along the lines of that it was also very nice the staff were very polite and helpful top marks on cleanliness too

Be aware this Costa is not dog friendly. And they asked us to take dog out after we had ordered all food and drink. Ìt is 21° outside.

Disappointed with the service, I was made to feel in the wrong my the manager when it was the young person taking the order who couldn't listen to my order.

The ladies working here this morning are absolutely wonderful! They are so kind and sympathetic, they helped me through a tricky morning and the hot chocolate was fantastic! :)

The staff serving were polite and hard working. Food and coffee were standard for Costa. No grumbles there. However having sat down we noticed either dog poo or worse under the table. We moved to another table and quietly informed a member of staff ( who looked at me as if a cat had suddenly started talking!). We left 25 minutes later and nothing had been done about it. People continued to sit at the table and either didn't notice or didn't bother. Hence the poor rating. Sorry Costa won't be going there again.

Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Table cleaned with a cloth which itself was not clean 😟

They are all the same, all good drinks and cakes

First time using this branch. Plenty of staff but a bit slow on the drinks. Hot food was cold by the time the drinks were ready. Need to be a bit more co-ordinated hot food to drink preparation.

Simple is that awesome place and atmosphere stuff are great and professional training thanks for your wonderful service and effort.

Newly opened store. Costa Coffee, Costa service from Smiley, Polite Staff. Spacious store. Brightly lit. Central benches have PowerPoints and usb ports, Ideal for charging mobiles or using laptops.

The latte I had was very nice. The cafe look nice and clean too .
