Great place to visit and very welcoming staff

It’s Costa you know what you getting, overpriced coffee undertrained staff

brilliant staff but U should probably let them have piercings on show as the blue covers look very silly and I feel there is more chance of one of them being in my drink then a piercing but staff is some of the greatest I've had

Coffee could have been hotter. Otherwise satisfactory and not too busy. The staff are always polite and friendly.

This Costa has gone downhill rapidly. Went in today, not busy, one young girl serving and making drinks. The other assistant came out from the back of the shop, saw me and another person waiting, ignored us and started sweeping the floor. After a few minutes we left. Customers come first if you want to stay in business

Can't fault the place, always an atmosphere.. Such a shame they don't have an outside area and coffee on a nice warm day.

I didn't go there i was at Wessex Photographic nearby. Lovely shop and helpful staff. They enlarged an old photograph from 1951. Brilliant.

Staff are genuinely amazing. They are so attentive, hardworking and kind. I go to this branch very often because I am a writer and I need a change of scenery. I tried almost every cafe in the area and slowly transition into visiting to Costa only because every member of the staff are kind and caring. I find the Costa experience very simillar to at Bvlgari Hotel or Ritz London. I hope the staff members are appreciated properly by the management, because they really do not have to be nice. Thank you Costa staff members for motivating me to finish my book!

The staff are fine, but half an hour BEFORE closing they close off half of the coffee shop. Fair enough right? No one want to keep cleaning up after people. But no, they actually close off the loos as well. All of them. So if you have special needs, and have to use the loo way before closing, you are not allowed. Further, the cakes aren't covered and there were flies landing on everything! And when I pointed it out the staff got annoyed at me. I even complained directly to the company and they still, after weeks havent gotten back to me. Do not go if you want clean cakes. EDIT: EVEN AFTER A YEAR THEY STILL LET FLIES LAND ON THE CAKES AND STILL GET ANNOYED WHEN YOU DON'T WANT THAT.

Love having my cappuccino in Costa

I wanted to have a coffee at an independent café, but they didn't open till 10:00, so I had no choice but to come here. As with all Costa's it's okay. Nothing special, but not terrible.

i ordered a iced caramel latte and server gave me a hot coffee and still charged me for the iced one which costed more

It was an OK experience.would like to point out the staff were very friendly and when we returned a stale croissant the chap apologised and was happy for an alternative to be supplied.The drinks were good though and seating was no problem as it is quite a large place.

I thought you close at 6? Went to head in at 5:30, doors closed, no one in sight, I get you have to clean up but why say you are open untill 6 if you are not,

An alright coffee shop in the centre of town. It's alright and does serve its purpose although the food and drinks here are an absolute rip off. I've only come in here a few times but I don't think I will come in here again if I really have to. The only good thing is that the staff are friendly and they always have a load of reduced sandwiches. Otherwise, I would not recommend this place at all.

The floor of the cafe was dirty with food everywhere and crumbs over chair seats. Noticed other customers brushing off crumbs and tutting, too. Doubt very much if the floor had been swept today as it was messy everywhere at such an early time. Tables were not cleared and wiped. The good side is that staff was polite and friendly.

Staff polite and efficient enough in service but no proper eye contact or smiles. Absolutely filthy tray, teapot and container for marshmallows, apparently they're all like it??? Worst hot chocolate I've ever had in Costa, literally had to drink it in one because it was almost cold. I won't go back in again. I'm glad it's not my local Costa!

I had a free drink. Loads of comfortable seating.

Unimpressed ordered on the app went in told my drink wasn't ready and there system was down told I'd have the money back within 24h but on the app it went through fine so had no refund have even made a complaint twice but no one has even got back to me this was 2 weeks ago now

There's a lady working as I leave this review who is utterly bereft of any customer service skills. Worse than that she comes off as actively rude and ignorant. I come in often and this is always the case. I spend a great deal of money in several of the branches you hold the franchise on (Shaftesbury and Blandford). Can someone from the company reach out to me please to discuss this further. Thank you.

This rating is just from this afternoons experience. Previously the service has been fine. I walked in, there was one lady waiting for her coffee. The lady that was working looked at me and didn't acknowledge me, and didn't take my order, she then walked out to the back of the premises leaving the guy making the coffee for the lady on his own. He also looked at me and said nothing! I'm happy to wait but what really annoyed me is that neither of then said hello or said "sorry to keep you waiting, I'll be with you in a minute" It doesn't take much effort to give some decent customer service and to make people feel welcome I ended up walking out and won't be going back Coop do a nice skinny latte and costs alot less Lost yourself a customer!

Was ok had a member of staff, I am guessing so was only able to do one drink at a time. So this made service very slow. I know they have to learn but I have do w the job and you always start the next drink while making the current one. Luckily it wasn't too busy but wait was quite a bit longer than normal.

Costa service that there known for in most chains pretty quick service friendly staff also 1 of the more spacious and open planned cafes in the town of blandford.

Whilst the coffee shop is quiet staff are standing behind their station while the consuming areas are sliding. No one is on hand clearing tables, cleaning bathrooms, or floors. It was left like it was not a problem. This Costa coffee shop is in need of some real attention.

Good coffee polite staff but they're more interested in their own tasks than the client, ignoring people while they tidy up stuff they could do later when there's a lull.

Great place. Great people. Average service speed. my issue isn't to do with this particular restaurant, JUST the drink itself. I had the white hot chocolate. YUCK could be extremely better. Just tastes like artificial Sweeteners. (0.5 out of 5 ) at least have options to have the less healthy one. tastes awful.

As I've come to expect from Costa. Friendly + efficient staff. The best Americano Plenty of comfy seating Only 4* as I didn't use the bathroom(sic) so I cannot comment.

It's Costa, what you see is what you get. Fast coffee, decent taste, goodish price. Friendly staff which is always nice.

Popped in to get a take out coffee on way home. Great staff and service. Only wierd thing. There was a rather pungent smell on entry. Thought it was a mouldy smell.

Of the few free tables, 3 had used cups etc! Americano coffee was tasteless! My wife had a Chai Latte which she enjoyed.

The relentless thin edge of the faceless corporate wedge ploughing in to yet another sleepy market town. I hate that your coffee is tasty and your staff are friendly.

There was clear direction/instruction when entering. A pleasant welcome. A verbal reminder about track n trace log in. Gd distance between tables. And Great coffee.

Love coffee but put off by very awkward heavy cups. As so expensive too we go somewhere where u can at least lift cup easily. Not suitable for elderly or anyone with hand problems.

I still can’t get over the size of the small coffees in the UK. It is a serving that we often share as it is very large. This is one of the better Costa coffees I have had. I find Costa to to be one of the better franchise coffee around and its always worth grabbing a bucket of coffee from costa as a pick me up.

On this occasion, 5-30pm, lots of dirty tables, long wait, no acknowledgement, member of staff desperate to speak to friends, other staff member sweeping up and knocking my chair and feet. I was obviously in the way. And to top it off, the customer in front of me used the term, "Can I grab...," TWICE!! 😂

I would give five stars but the manager Sarah let's the whole store down. I have great reviews for Gemma, Charlie and Roya and the new deputy manager, she is awesome. Gemma, Charlie and Roya are brilliant, lovely girls, who take the time to chat whilst making my coffee, they should all get a promotion!!

I have been drinking Costa for the last 5years and it has always been brilliant and blandford is with out doubt the Best.Just check my points. WELL DONE

This will be the last drink i get in blandford costa . This is the third time they make a rubbish coffee snd the last . In that place ..i blame the manager . She cant make a good drink . So what chance has she to train her staff right .

Not bad. Nice and tidy and the food and coffee are what you would expect. Staff here are a little more chilled out so takes a little longer to get your drink.

I really love this Costa deep room with plenty of tables .Also easy chairs and sofas .It is very cosy and well lite Usual selection of drinks .Staff friendly and helpful .

One of the cleanest, nicest Costa coffee cafes I have been in... I travel all over the UK and make a point of visiting Costa and the competition !!... Nice hot sandwiches and panini, fine selection of coffee and cold drinks available, very well trained and knowledgable staff makes this Costa one of the best... well done staff, free WiFi and clean toilets to !!

Your usual Costa coffee place decent selection of coffees and pastries. It's a good size with a variety of chair or sofa seating. Toilets are at the back. Can be busy at peak times and so there can be a wait for your drink. Drink in or take away your choice

Shocking I order a large hot chocolate with whipped cream by the time I get to work fair enough cream melts but my large cup isn't even half full. and hot chocolate isn't even hot. might as well get a small for half the price feel ripped off absolutely appalling

Always nice & a friendly atmosphere. Cakes etc pricey. Have said many times before, semi skimmed milk would be nice instead of just full fat or dishwater skimmed. A small whinge on the scale of things however.
