Costa Coffee in Coventry

This is a regular place for us to get a coffee and a snack. Unfortunately the self closing door has been broken for several months and customers just leave the door open as they enter or leave. This makes it a very cold and draughty place to sit in the colder months. We feel the cold so may start using an independant coffee shop over the road which would be sad as we like this Costa. Can somebody fix the door, it has been months?

The staff in here are sausages, waited 20 mins for a toastie to discover it had been forgotten about and burnt in the toaster oven 😭 neither staff had a clue what I was talking about even having ordered with them only 20 mins before. Avoid.

Been here before and its a standard Costa, but with a closing time stated at 2000 we were refused entry at 1910

Visited today Sadly there was little flies nats on the cakes. When questioned they replied nothing we can do about it. I feel sorry for people driving through and eating cakes that have flies on them . Coffee was mediocre at best just tasted of caramel no coffee.

Left waiting without any acknowledgment from the 2 baristas who were “serving” not even a nod or smile. When it came to order no manners used at all and again were too busy talking to one another.

My best drive through, sit in. Handy with it being just me the main road. Since it's opening day I have visited the clean, tidy, happy little place. It might not be Starbucks but the staff make your stay very welcome.

Cerys& Fern were so helpful& kind , they always seem busy, im sure more staff are needed to help them. The BIG disappointment was the state of the toilets, the manager should be up on this & make it an important part of her job,& not put it on junior Staff surely this is her responsibility!

Go into there every day nice coffee and food is good awit expensive but good.a

This is a very typical Costa. it's always busy (or it seems to be when I go), so it is sometimes hard to find a table. Staff are polite but always seem rushed of their feet (under staffed). Coffee is always good though.

I am really disappointed This is a regular place we go each night after dog walk and costa us a good amount To find when get back in car that it’s only half full is terrible This happens so often and it’s because there is no communication with staff It’s to expensive to have Half a cup

Sunday morning - beautiful day. Not in the mood for coffee whilst out shopping so a strawberry frappe is the way to go.

Again TOILET NEEDS TO BE CLEANED NO TOILET PAPER but the young lady who was serving was very nice and helpful

Very popular coffee stop at Warwickshire shopping park. All the usual Costa range, and friendly staff. Can get very loud and busy!

Very good coffee and cakes however the space inside is limited, when busy is difficult to find free table, only one toilet inside for men and women.

Dirty Tables not cleaned at all

Seemed like a new starter really slow at making drinks. Maybe not her fault but this was rush hour for lunch time so having to wait for my drink after my toasties was toasted too much it wasn't great

Always have their Mac and Cheese with a Ham and Mature Cheddar toastie and a small mocha. So, so good!

The staff act like you’ve inconvenienced them everytime I’ve been here. Each time after placing a drink there’s been either an issue with the drink or an issue with the staff’s reception/welcome/order habit. Not a very welcoming customer service team.

Not really a fan of costa to be fair. They are understaffed, no fault of the actual staff working there. Queuing is also very slow. Food and drinks are very overpriced but it is what it is. I prefer independent coffee shops if they are available. We of course have the choice to go there or not to go there. I wouldn't class it as a treat which it should be. Lots of room for improvement.

The staff at this drive thru are so friendly, and always greet you with a smile. The store manager who has served us a number of times is fantastic and a great representation for the brand 👏

Completely different experience on this occasion... female staff member didn't listen to my order and gave me wrong drink. When I pointed this out, she took the drink and went to throw it in a nearby sink but missed.. the liquid went all over the floor. She then made the correct drink (which was cheaper). I asked her about this, she tutted and mumbled under her breath... she then gave me loose change from a cup. I pointed out it was her mistake not mine. No apology whatsoever. If I had had more time, I would have asked to see the manager.

Bought a porridge and the water was poured on top and not mixed in. So when they gave it me warmed up, half the oats were still dry and uncooked, couldn’t even save it. Had to throw it away. What a start to my day hey. Please mix the oats after pouring water next time

I visit this store regularly as its near work. Always really lovely staff working, great service. Never had a bad experience in here. Can normally always get a table and it's always kept clean.

It's similar to most Costa shops. The coffee is alright, the food is mass produced but not terrible. You know what you're getting at a Costa. This one is a little cramped for my liking, hence the four stars

The staff make this Costa amazing! Joe stands out for me in particular but all workers are always friendly, happy, are quick to serve and drink is always perfect. My favourite branch.

Keep up thee amazing vegan options and we will be regulars foe sure. The toasties and Jack fruit soup, delicious 😋

Costa Coffee is a lovely place, Coffees are great, so much choice, but I do think the prices are a bit high.

I went in today and there was a worker at the front till who was serving customers , he was tall and had brown and pink hair. He was chatting away to a customer he had already served. I had been waiting patiently whilst he had continued to chat to the customer instead of taking my order. Only after several minutes was my order taken, I was waiting to be served so that I could tend to my newborn baby along with his mother. I found this very rude and unprofessional. This very frustrating experience has made me not want to come back to Costa again!

Excellent food and coffee. I was particularly impressed with the vegan selection. The customer service was also very good and it was nice to see staff kept on top of clearing up and cleaning tables.

Ordered a frostino and vegan rocky road on the app. When I went to collect, I luckily asked the lady to check if it was vegan and she said "no, vegetarian". If I hadn't asked, I would have been served a vegetarian one! I was then told the vegan rocky road was out of stock. I choose vegan due to my egg allergy. The lady said I could choose something else but the only other vegan product contained nuts, which I am allergic to. I then asked if she had anything else that was not vegan, but did not contain egg due to allergy. She told me she did not know and made no effort to find out which is shocking considering Natasha's Law. I then asked if I could have a refund or Costa voucher for the product I did not receive and was told no because I'd paid on the app. I then said "so I've paid £2.25 for something I'm not getting?" She rudely said "yes." No apology, no suggestion on what to do... Nothing. This is the second bad incident I've had at this branch of Costa. I would suggest training your staff on customer service and the importance of allergens.

Nice and fast service, plenty of tasty snacks available, pretty busy but there were tables available.

Very, very expensive. The sandwich was hot but that's all I can say about it, it certainly didn't taste of anything - cheese & tomato but the tomato was just a thin spread of tomato on the bread. Certainly not worth the money. It was noisy & the staff couldn't hear - or didn't listen. Surely they should be used to people requesting their coffee in a particular way and shouldn't slam the cup down when they finally listen and follow that request.

Nice staff pretty efficient so will recommend.

I have been a Costa coffee user on a weekly basis for the last 5 years however over the last year every store I call into has a different taste and temperature of there Latte I am finding this very annoying as a coffee is not cheap. You find a store with a careing batista and 5 mins later they seem to be gone. I'm afraid the high standards that Costa used to be are slipping. I love a decent Costa but I'm finding other brands more often and often. I and my wife have even been given half full latte glasses and expected to accept. "Sorry for the rant"

Nice and clean Costa, seats far enough apart to adhere to the covid rules. The staff were nice and polite, made my drinks how I asked and they were hot, not luke warm like some other Costa's.

Hellen is so helpful and positive, and nothing is too much trouble. The quality of service she provides enhances the pleasure of coming to this particular outlet. My wife and I strongly recommend this branch of Costa

It was a quick stop off before a work meeting, the sop was quite empty but also had a drive through, had to wait a while to get served as 3 people were doing drive through orders. It was also really cold as the doors were wedged open. Got the greatest experience, and the sausage bap bun was a bit hard.

The worst Costa in the country. Staff don’t listen.

Getting a bit fed up of this place and all cloned coffee houses. There are plenty of independent places to try out in Coventry.

You get a consistent service at Costa. Quick, clean and tidy, good quality drinks and pastries, what else could you want.

Best coffee around and a great selection of sandwiches and cakes.

Very good service but perhaps should consider lowering volume of background music whilst Covid screens are in place as both staff and customers are having difficulty in hearing each other.

It's been months since we went into Costa and I've missed it as a Saturday treat. The cakes are so lovely and I love their lattes and iced lattes.

Staff are amazing, they make you feel comfortable and welcome each time. Love the efficiency and quality of the service too. You never have to wait for long and the drinks are always delicious. Best Costa in Coventry.

As normal, this is a lovely place to chill and relax over a nice drink and cake! Plus it's got air conditioning which is a real bonus on these hot days.

I have NEVER experienced such chaotic, poor customer service. 6 members of staff, some workman behind the counter drilling, another one under the counter hitting something with a hammer. Twenty minutes to be served and unfriendly, argumentative staff.The noise level was unbearable. Flies landing on the food and filthy tables (hasn't anyone heard of Covid?) This store is an utter disgrace
