Ordered through third party app, they cancelled my order just as I arrived. Wasted journey especially in the heavy rain. No apologies and no managers on site to discuss.

Very poor experience. Not been in there for while, had a birthday free treat so decided to pop in. No cakes, just a few pastries, had to wait 9 minutes for my 'latte' even though there was no queue. When it eventually arrived it didn't even look like a latte, no froth on top and very watery. I queried it with the manager who brought it over to me and was told ' it was made by the trainee'!! He should never have brought it to a paying customer if it was not made correctly. Far inferior service to what I used to recieve when visited regularly and to other Costas, I will not be going back.

I used to love my Costa Coffee, but the place is messed up is so dirty I don’t go there anymore I go to coffee Nero. That place needs refurbishing.

Spent 10 mins in the queue so I walked out and got a coffee at Neros and was served straight away.

Staff here are very good here. They've stopped the character roast so rarely go now.

Very busy at time of my visit, been served by Asian looking young lady very helpful at till, also drinks made with love ❤️ Big thanks to the staff on this particular day

Very polite staff, good prices, good coffee. Their large is *too* large to be honest, but that’s just my opinion. My only complaints are that there were very few outlets to plug laptops into, and people were smoking directly in front of the door, making the cafe stink indoors significantly.

As always a good experience. Though today in particular the staff were really attentive and friendly. Something as simple as I dropped a bag to take a cake away. And in a instant without asking I was Brough a bag by the staff member. Really friendly asked if we needed anything. A great experience. It where we come for a coffee date with my child after nursery. Made also much better with the staff and experience. Thank you

Nice little shop friendly staff

I generally like going to Costa Coffee in Potters Bar. The staff are always friendly and helpful, even when busy. What I don't like is the fact I can't bring my dog in. She's a pug, also friendly and likes a fuss made of her from other customers. Lots of places are allowing dogs in now. Cafe Nero issued a statement saying there are no health and safety laws preventing us from allowing dogs in our stores. So they do. Food is only microwaved by the counter, not prepared. Chris Packham can't understand why we don't have a more easy-going attitude like the French in this respect. So come on Costa - I'll give you 5 stars if you review your stance!

Very poor service. We waited so long for our orders to be served to the table. All people behind us had already served and left. Many things were missing from what we ordered (jam, juice..). Poor management skills- should have known the busy hours and get enough staff accordingly.

Used to be really good, but now there is literally o my one staff member that can make coffee correctly. Using the wrong milk, not texturising correctly, short changing people very frequently because of lack of attention to detail when handling money, and burning milk very frequently. It’s also very poorly maintained at front of house every time I go in. There’s one lady, slim with dark hair and a slight Essex accent, and she is fantastic. If there’s any staff but her, I walk out.

My latte - in a proper mug - had an unusual, not so nice taste. Decor a bit old and drab.

Usually very polite staff, but something today went wrong. Miserable, unhelpful and inattentive,to say the least. Costa charge top dollar for their coffee and food. Please make some effort to make the customer feel bloody wanted. Really unimpressed. Hope Costa head office read these reviews and do something about it
