Very bad customer service , i went to get a coffee today in between 12.00 to 12.15 pm, and saw the counter was crowded, there we few customer ahead of me, the staff working inside were 2 ladies , one of them was making orders the other staff was just walking inside the shop so i got confused if the shop is shut or if they not talking orders hence i asked the lady if they taking orders (i was polite in asking so) on which she lost her cool and started yelling at me. If they are under pressure they should ask the managment to add and extra staff so things can flow smooth. Very rude behaviour.

My daughter is having an urgent operation for cancer and I came to the costa to have a drink and something to eat as I'm so distressed. The lady serving me was so rude and I felt so upset by her attitude. Her name is Chloe and she needs to understand that mist of her customers are not having a leisurely drink. They are going through hard times in the hospital.

The staff didn’t know what they was doing and took them nearly half an hour to make 2 cold drinks. They were rude to other customers. The drink wasn’t how it’s meant to be made and was not pleasant to drink. This is supposed to be a salted caramel frappe (picture) but was just a gross coffee milkshake.

After waiting for 5 minutes in a queue, I was served a latte and cappuccino with sour milk. I went back, stood at the queue for another 10 minutes to request a refund/ replacement. When I told the lady at the counter I had bought my coffee about 10 minutes ago and the milk tastes sour, her first extremely intelligent response was that the milk must have gone bad coz it’s cold now and it must have gotten spoiled during those 10 minutes. Wow. I told her that the coffee is still hot and expressed how ridiculous it is that coffee could go bad in 10 min. Thereafter she told me no other customers had complained, and she pulled up an unopened carton of milk and showed me the expiry date on that. But failed to show me the expiry date on the milk that was used on my coffee. She refused to give me a replacement or a refund. Basically Costa just stole £5.50 from me this morning. I left both my coffees at the counter - both full hot cups with milk gone bad. I dealt with an old Indian lady , didn’t catch her name but oh my, she was so rude and unpleasant. But I found her extremely “intelligent” ways of proving me wrong very amusing I must say.

We went there in the afternoon as mum wanted a cup of tea. I walked up to an unfriendly female member of staff. I politely asked for one tea, one regular mango and passion fruit and two blueberry muffins (memory’s not 100 so not sure if I named my drink correctly). The drinks and blueberry muffins get the one star, but the staff member who was on duty let the place down. She has been mentioned in these reviews and they really need to retrain her and/or mystery shop the place. This person stood in front of me unmoving and said I won’t go and start your drinks until your payment goes through! At no point did I tell her I’m destitute so can you wait. Is this staff policy across Costa Coffee places nowadays? if so then perhaps it could be done in a more subtle manner. The highlight of my visit was this ladybird gift, although I left it for someone else to have or regift.

Have visited King George’s twice in the past week, and have read the reviews on Costa, but thought we might as well get a coffee. The coffee was probably one of the best i have got from Costa’s, as normally go to independent coffee shops. The lady that served us was very polite and always had a smile on her face, even when there we several people waiting, she never got flustered. Please don’t be put off by bad reviews, it cant be that bad when you see the queues.

Very rude staff member on the 2:30-8pm shift pattern on 22/01 As soon as I approached the counter very dismissively she pointed to a sign that stated the coffee machine was being cleaned. I informed me that I didn’t want to order coffee this lady began talking over me telling them there’s no coffee. I asked for someone else to serve me as this point I was so confused. This lady still displayed disgraceful behaviour in front of her supervisor who had to apologise on her behalf several times. Complete definition of a disgrace to customer services still shocked with such treatment. From looking at the review I can see this isn’t the first time either. Avoid at all costs.

Asian lady very rude I was served today, latte was a mess and she seems to be very rude her face speaks she never smiles and I am not going anymore because I am not spending somewhere where I will not be treated fairly. I believe this lady was from India and she was speaking at her own in her own language very very rude. Todays date is 4th September around 5pm I was served. Costa make sure you change your employee.

The senior staff (senior among 2 asian women on duty on Tuesday 09 Nov 21 around 5:30p.m) is the rudest, nastiest staff ever in a restaurant or coffee shop ever come across. Just sitting around like a boss and passing sarcastic, condescending comments to customer upon asking for an extra tea bag and a spoon of milk (junior colleague was serving the order). Thr senior staff member thinks she is offering free charity service to customers, that too paying customers inside a hospital premises!!!. Costa coffee's hiring and training standards are so low this staff needs to be trained on soft skills, manners, courtesy immediately. Shame to have such rude staff inside a hospital servicing sick patients and their kin.

I am an NHS worker, I went to get some free coffees which I thought was so lovely of Costa to do, but when I ordered my drinks was treated so badly from the staff, the attitude was appalling, they made me feel like a criminal, in the current climate we need to support our fellow human being.

We went there yesterday as hubby had some test to do. I ordered some coffee and i made it clear that i want one latte with sugar free caramel and a biscuit packet. . The girl kept asking if i need only one coffee and i kept saying yes only one please . After a second she screamed at us infront of the other customer that we are not responding.. She only stayed quiet when i told her that i did answer her three times then she stayed quiet but as revenge she made the coffee without caramel and when charged me for it...

This is my macchiato after I’ve taken out all the foam, but this is not the main problem it was the lady that served us a little while ago she had a very bad attitude. The other coffee I brought had vanilla shot and I asked for a little extra (I don’t mind paying) she tipped out quite a bit of the coffee and it was not necessary. The mocha that was being made had been made with one shot (working in a coffee shop myself I noticed) and she served this too us and when we pointed out her mistake unfortunately she did not apologise. I’m a little disappointed...

Disappointing Service and Overly Salty Food “I ordered the seafood grill and waited 20 minutes, only to be served lamb liver instead. After pointing out the mistake, I requested sea bass and had to wait another 15 minutes. When the grilled fish finally arrived, it was so salty that it was inedible. I informed the chef, but nothing was done. I left the food on the table and still paid £20. Overall, a frustrating experience with poor service and low food quality. Definitely not worth the price. I have a picture of my food I left on the table and my receipt I’m not recommending that restaurant
