Costa Coffee in Sheffield

I only bought caramel waffles, and a barista came up to me and told offered to put my kfc drink into a new cup with ice and put in candied lemons, so I could eat them 😭💘 i didn’t grab his name but it absolutely made my day!

Disgusting,,,milks off and they don't care,worst customer service ever ,Scottish guy has no clue how to treat customers

Ordered 2 drinks and handed over 2 wraps. Asked for the drinks to be extra hot as we were taking out. As the second drink was being poured my partner asked if it was extra hot. It wasn’t. The staff heated the remaining milk to make it a bit hotter. Mine was normal temperature despite the request. Next came the food. I had a Cajun wrap, the staff member wrote a c on the packaging, my partner had an all day breakfast wrap, b was written in. I went for my meeting, he went to continue his to do list. The staff member had mixed up the wraps so neither of us enjoyed our lunches. Not impressed.

Can’t even make a drink right, just lazy, I’ve not been able to drink the drink hardly because you decided to not blend the ice at all, it’s all I had in my cup more ice then the actual drink ……..

drinks are quick and they dont seem bothered when i hog 2 tables for a few hours between uni seminars (if u do that, buy at least another drink)

I come google costa because in other coffee shops like Starbucks for example do not know how to make a real hot chocolate in my opinion. But the 2 girls behind the counter one asian lady in till did not ask me for wipped cream, and the other girl whith long hair put the mushmellos in the hot chocolate with out wipp cream what a mess of a service. I had to ask for wipp cream and tray and there was no napkins?? Manager please 🙏 sort out you coffee shop .

I visit this cafe every time I visit my daughter and family. I like the location ,atmosphere, service and staff have always been good. Today I was served by Jigisha. Who welcomed me with a lovely smile. She was polite, efficient and quick.

Always good service friendly staff never have to wait too long for any size order the only thing I would say is the toilets could do with more cleaning during the day

The upstairs tables are plenty and good; the view is amazing There are 2 parking spaces behind the coffee- one is free after 4 pm- the other one is on the top of the building. The only issue is that the employees close the upstairs section so early like around 5 pm, with the excuse that they need to clean it!! (2 hours for cleaning!!!!) Other than this, it’s a good branch of costa

Service with a smile and manners would of been nice

Diy was being done on wall behind where food was being served. Not hygienic at all. Girl serving had to dodge workmen to get into micro and work top while they were kneeling on workspace pulling off old fittings and measuring to fit new brackets.

First visit to this Costa Coffee. Lovely staff . Will definitely be back

It’s ok, I can’t stand Costa coffee as it tastes like nothing. They had no teabags. The cold drinks and nice but SO expensive

Nice coffee as always and the WiFi was good but, oh, the service was slow. Three staff on and the queue only built up as one person was making drinks slowly, one by one. Bring something to read while you wait.

Delivery driver was amazing he delivered on time and rang to let us know the food was there.

MARCO the server was excellent. Made my order perfect after it was made not to satisfactory by another server. Was very polite and very professional. Thanks Marco.

Tweedle Dee and Tweedle dum. Too sweet charged us for large but said there was only small. Lots of communication issues 🤦🏼‍♀️ pure sugar, too much ice. Girl said she couldn't make then man said he couldn't then girl made 🤷‍♂️ weird.. Girl said she couldn't take money but uhh we have to pay 😂 guy didn't understand what we wanted. Manager stepped in and explained everything. Still annoyed. The staffs mistake not ours. Yes they are training but at least say sorry I don't understand or hang on let me check etc.

coffee and service is fine. simply reviewing because i find it odd that the staff are seemingly forced to wear bright blue plasters over their nose piercings? it just looks odd and makes them more noticeable. i can’t imagine it’s comfortable for the staff either. no member of the public feels negatively towards nose piercings in the year 2023 or even notices them. stands out as an odd practice as literally no other coffee shop i’m aware of enforces this rule

Lovely staff but sadly not enough extremely busy. The young barista making my coffee was young and so pleasant and chatty. One of my favourite Costa to visit.

Food is always burnt as the staff are too busy chatting with each other to take it out of the oven

went for a cheeky coffee today with my son ! got served by zak who was really kind and patient !!! the coffee and cold chocolate was lovely but they forgot my kit kat bunny which i was not pleased with ! overall mmmmm 10/10

Had to watch a barista rip a loaf of bread from the top, leaving the knot in place… I’m still having flashbacks to this day. Coffee slaps though

The drink came without a straw and the delivery driver apparently knows the road but apparently couldn't find my building. If he doesn't know where a property is, he should be using his maps with the exact address so that he can a customer. He was quite rude on arrival because I thought a specific building next door still had a blue NHS banner on the front of the building, and although I didn't realise that it didn't, he acted quite rudely

I'll be honest, I'm not a great fan of chain coffee shops. They're all same and lack character in my opinion. Having said that, of all the places that are open at 7:30am, this is the best I've found. The staff are polite, the place is clean and the coffee is ok.

When the drinks arrived they spilt and also the driver had to call me 3x because he couldn't find the destination and then didn't read the note I left for the driver so there was an issue at the reception

My friend and I came into Costa 2 minutes before closing, and were still served with a smile from Fern. The coffee was absolutely lovely. Thank you for your fabulous service.

I took my 82 year old Mum to This costa yesterday to enjoy a coffee outside in the sunshine. She is visiting from Canada and loves the flat white coffees from costa. Well - I was told they don’t use proper cups and saucers after a certain time - at least that was what was inferred - I didn’t think anything at the time but as I brought the takeaway cups out to my mum - her face fell and said oh they won’t taste the same - and in fact they didn’t - because they were not flat whites they were lattes - I was tired from working all day so we just had a sip or two and left - experience completely spoilt. But was fuming when we got home both at myself for not saying anything and at the laziness of the server for ruining what should have been a lovely time out for my Mum who had been alone all day. I will go in and complain personally as well as on reading very similar reviews it makes me think that nobody actually reads these reviews ! Because clearly it happens all the time !

Only negative is the prices. However the staff were brilliant

New edit (may 22) Still fresh more staff, quicker service 👍 New edit (sept 21) it's a Costa but it's been updated inside. It's cleaner for sure but it's not at all a 'cosy coffee shop vibe'.... it's now more hospital coffee shop. There's plenty of space mind as they've removed sections. It's dropped a star. The original review: Parking outside, quick service, clean tables..been going for years and it's only now they are actually starting to remember orders tho as they went thru a few staff

Will be nice if have more options of sandwiches.

Appalling. I've used them a lot, and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but orders are frequently wrong, and cannot be explained by simple mistakes. If you want coffees that taste like they might have been contaminated, or food orders that are constantly wrong, order from here. Otherwise, avoid.

Bit lacking in atmosphere. Large range of sandwiches and snacks

Love it here. Great atmosphere. Tables outside for a cigg or some fresh air. Staff are lovely 🙂 disabled toilet available.

This cafe was unlike other Costa cafes. The place is stuffed and no sufficient ventilation. We were a group of 10 and non of our orders were right or nice. They weren't done according to the standards and presented badly. The assistant (as it said on our receipts) who prepared our drinks gave us wrong sized drinks. She gave us take away cups even though we asked to dine in. This happened on Friday 14.01.2022 at around 12.30-2 pm. I hope the management look into it! Thanks

Ordered £20’ worth of food and drink, driver only turned up with one coffee. Both the driver and the restaurant said they couldn’t do anything about the order, couldn’t make or deliver a new order for me. Appalling.

Sunday 12th December 10am. This coffee shop is absolutely filthy, I shudder to guess the last time the floor, tables, or toilets were cleaned. Would never step foot in this cafe again. Disgusting.

Poor quality Costa I ve ever been... just waste of money... some staff need to be trained more and more to learn what is the meaning of Business... and ... .. ** the table I sat was so dirty too... and a trainee staff made my coffee which was not edible at all ... again the lack of basic understanding of business is the key .. I felt sick after drinking that coffee... Broomhill branch is far better to be except the car park ...

Don't call in here unless you have 40 mins to stand around! 4 staff on only 2 serving - coffee guy was fine. One girl taking orders doing toasties (putting them back together back to front) if I had more time I would have gone back and complained. I can't believe thethis is the costa way of doing things! They were queuing out of the door!

🍓 iced tea infusion was warm. They gave me another without asking. Maybe my ignorance perhaps but iced infusion should be cold or not?

Recently refurbished, the shop feels more cosy when drinking in. Pleasant and efficient staff. This Costa Coffee is a regular visit for me.

Better places to go for Coffee in Eccesall. Not a bad Costa but the fact that you can be fined £100 for going slightly over 60 minutes in the car park doesn't make it worth it.

The wrong item arrived, I ordered sparkling water but still water was delivered.

I love a good Costa but one of the drink tasted off I don't live near here so I left it £3.80 down the drain

At the moment only open till 5 or 5.30, but you can't complain at the moment.

During covid, the service is slow. 2 people ahead of me and i waited 10 minutes before it was my turn
