Costa Coffee in Renfrewshire

So…… was here for less than two hours, buying coffees food etc but got a find from scum bags at private eye?! Thanks for making it so inconspicuous that the sign wasn’t noticeable and the max time has changed. I will never ever set foot in a Costa again.

Useless driver never delivered the order.

Food is great but delivery time was ridiculous! It’s not lunch if it arrives at nearly dinner time.

Can’t fault Costa… however, the car park is a JOKE!! Just received a £100 fine ( £60 if paid within 14days) for being 12SECONDS over the 2 hour time limit for parking, what a disgrace, will never go back, spent money on drinks and food to then receive this, total joke!! Should be ashamed of the system you are running.

Quick and efficient drive through

I had a great drink in the Costa here.

My coffee was hot and on point as it should be

Avoid at all costs. If the overpriced coffee isn't bad enough, the ParkingEye system will charge you £100 for the privilege of parking there. Costa's response was that they don't care and not their problem.

What can I say. It was a joy. The staff are a well oiled machine who make lovely coffee and other non-coffee stuff.

Felt a bit dis organized this morning and felt it didn't have the toppings of my drink I ordered. The KitKat mocha is meant to have a few KitKat pieces but didn't taste any .maybe just an off morning for them, will try again

Great wee coffee shop, try the oat blend in your coffee it's different but good only down side is it would appear people use the car park as a meeting place and it's usually full.

Lovely drinks and cakes as usual but the cakes were in with the hot drinks, despite leaving a note.

Feeling let down by this branch. I always ask for extra hot and the last 3 times its been luke warm. Needs to do alot better. I have had to switch shop since then to get my daily drink on the way to work.

Only 2 staff on and one was attending the drive thru whilst the other was attending a long queue. 15min wait just to order a coffee.

Ordered Brie and cranberry toastie but it had bacon in it.

The weather is clear and clear, and we sit in the open area! How about some sunshine!

It was Costa, had the same coffee and cake as I tend to have whatever Costa; in which ever part of the world I am in. Staff always helpful and coffee always hot.

Usual pleasant experience and cappuccino up to standard.🙂

Costa is Costa - decent coffee and couple slice of toast hit the spot. Only issue is a fellow patron had a case of mistaken identity and invented an illicit affair I'm not having ..........

Late visit coffee disgusting look warm My low scores reflect this, but the toilets were disgusting and unusable staff not interested as closing. Wouldn't return to this costa at hillington roundabout renfrew/ breahead

Amazing Mocha coffee!!! 😍is a lovely Costa thanks to they staff I’m always going in a Saturday morning and is a girl I don’t know her name blonde with Tattos in her arm , she always is so friendly and you can feel the good energy she treats customers with . Sit in large coffee comes in a bucket but service was good

Visited here in January 2023 to have a meeting with colleagues. Food and drink served quickly by friendly staff. Premises were busy and some tables were left unwashed. Wifi was easily accessible and fast. No spaces left in car parks so had to park nearby.

Surprisingly clean for a Costa. Friendly staff and usual Costa fair.

Great service and regular coffee tasting experience.

Costa coffee Hillington road must be the worst in Scotland staff get things wrong most of the time and never stocked up on provisions useless useless

Most sporadic opening times of all Costa’s. Never open and closures are never reflected on here or social media. Don’t use for meeting friends that are far travelled, always a waste of time and petrol.

Took over an hour for coffee to come and the time every changing. I also ordered a Terry’s chocolate orange hot chocolate and the additional terrys chocolate cane melted in the bag. Poor service :(

driver arrived extremely rude and the coffee was cold. couldnt even taste the coffee was all hazelnut syrup. it was undrinkable. total waste of money

Adjacent to the M8 slip road at Hillington roundabout this is a great place for a coffee stop. Situated opposite the Greypaul Ferrari Dealership, my caffeine hit is a delight in more ways than one. Having Exterior seating as well, as a drive-thru this is a great place to meet.

Staff really nice , sunny day we sat outside.

Sometimes it's not clean and even though I was sitting in she gave me in a takeaway cups.

Standard costa coffee, which is good.

Just used the drive through, quick and easy, nice bacon sandwich.

Darnley is the best Costa to go to. The staff, especially Kerry are amazing. So helpful and friendly would definitely recommend.

Inside updated, staff much better than previous ones less mistakes, more attentive, store is significantly cleaner, much roomier with update and post covid, new range of food and drinks whats not to like

Same Costa same items but all different in a way it's served. Everything was ok except the knives were dirty and told them to take it out of our serving tray. Staff polite and welcoming.

If you like Costa Coffee this is a convenient stop just off the M8.

Service smooth just like their coffee. Everything a tad over priced but good quality. Peaceful, staff friendly and helpful. Place spotless.

A quick visit for a coffee and bite, around 6pm. Not that busy. Staff helpful.

Good wifi...decent service....good for business meetings

I had the Belgian Chocolate & Cream Frostino and was blown away. Chocolate didn't taste syrup-y at all, enough flavour but not too sweet, the cream on top was decadent! Best part was the texture: so much smoother than Starb*cks frappes! Will be switching over to Costa from now on!

The last Costa Coffee before the airport. It lies conveniently close to the M8.

Parking is a bit off a problem,very tight,mind you if everyone parked properly there wouldn't be a problem.

This is a nice wee Costa but fed up of the erratic opening hrs. Lost count of the number of times we've gone to find it has closed early. Tonight was the last straw. Looked open and full of customers which I now assume was a staff meeting or induction type thing. No note on door or even better at car park entrance. 4 customers at door , which incidentally had been faulty the week before so I assumed the door itself was stuck as full of people inside. Not one acknowledged the customers or signalled that they were closed. Just sat and ignored us. Very poor show here.

Nice location with two levels of seating. Good Covid protocols and the drinks were delicious.

Tried to use a gift card here today. Staff member refused it saying their system had been upgraded and it was an old card. Was told to go onto Costa website and upgrade it. Did this and nothing on website to do this. Contacted Costa Customer Service and was advised that card is still valid and staff member should key in the card number. Obviously got served today by a lazy and can’t be bothered staff member. The other bright spark behind the counter asked if it was a cheese and ham toastie or a ham and cheese toastie we wanted!!!!

Popped in this evening , 25 mins before closing (even though website and door show closing time an hour later). Ordered a hot chocolate, which was lukewarm. When I combined, the same jug of warm milk was used, not further heated, and presented. Staff busy cleaning and showing no interest in paying customers. Very disappointed. When leaving, I did say to staff member that the second hot chocolate was just as cold as the first. He asked me if I wanted something for free??? I think I would simply have liked what I asked for I the first place - I should have asked for a refund

This is a lovely place to drop into on the way to or from Braehead. The staff are very helpful and there's rarely a queue even though it gets busy at times

Short on staff so check opening times to sit in. Nice friendly staff and service is quite quick. Recommended.

Crazy ordering and refund process if you use the App to order ahead. They have the ability to grey out, Out of stock items on the app, but this wasn't the case for our order and they let us order 2 out of stock items. Okay fair enough s**t happens, but then to get a refund I have to go through 4 different call options, listen to a spiel that's not relevant to me before I can select any options to connect to an advisor, and then its a 3-5 day wait. Young Man behind the counter was nice and apologetic but he shouldn't have to take the brunt of customers grief because of a s**t app

I haven't actually got round to going in but looks like a nice place. The menu looks varied with fabulous choices for coffees and desserts. The prices seem reasonable too.

Used the drive thru, does what it is meant to do. Staff were friendly and helpful.

1st time iv been in and won't ever again. They ask you to scan the qr code for track n trace. Couldn't get it to work on my phone. There was a queue behind me. I was getting flustered. I couldn't hear her and she couldn't hear me with masks and perspex screen. I asked if I could sit down to do it and show her as soon as I had did it. But she won't let you pay for your stuff till its done. Then after I got it done I had to do it for my husband too. We are from same household but I still had to add him too. What a palava to have a relaxing coffee NOT. I was mortified as there was a queue of people behind me waiting impatiently for theirs. I was so embarrassed. Never again will I put myself through that.
