Beijing Banquet in Renfrewshire

I read the reviews, absolutely don’t believe the bad ones. Food was fresh and tasty. Great variety , sweets were excellent. First class service and the place was clean and pleasant. Cannot fault it.

We went quite late so some things were not refreshed but usually this place has plenty of fresh food.

First visit loved the choice and quaity was excellent. We will be back

For me, the best buffet in Glasgow, the others do not have quality.

I dined with yourself last Sunday 31/3/2024 and I was very unhappy with the standard of the food. I got to the third thing on my first plate which was a chicken satay on the skewer, my first few bites were OK but my forth bite I bit into it and ended up with broken skewer all through the part of the chickens not meant to have any in it, they must have broken a skewer removed it and added a fresh one not knowing it was broken through the chicken. I had swallowed some by mistake so I panicked and ran to the bathroom to try and get it out, it was stuck in the back of my throat and I think I may have even swallowed some. Whilst in the bathroom another customer heard me and came over to help me she got me water and alerted a member of staff of what happened the member of staff came to ask what happened I explained my situation and she said if I needed anything to get a hold of her. It was a horrible experience I've had a sore throat since it happened and I'm utterly appalled that the kitchen are not keeping on top of there food safety, everything should be getting checked before being served to the customer, I'm a chef myself so I know they should be quality checking everything that comes out of the kitchen. We got a small discount ended up paying for 1 adult 1 child meal but I was suprised I had to pay for my meal at all. Service 10/10 the member of staffed looked after me but you need to have a word with your kitchen staff that was completely unacceptable. It's taken me a while to contact yourself as I suffer with anxiety and after the whole incident I just wanted to forget about it, but it's not on, what if a child had eaten that or an old person who can't fully communicate what then? It's extremely careless and dangerous.

I challenge anyone to say anything negative about this place. Everything was top quality, the food, the staff, the decor, cleanliness and value for money.

I loved it. They have varieties of Asians dishes and I like that they have kids menu too

First time in Beijing banquet the food was delicious you could eat as much as you liked lots of variety brilliant if having a birthday party and special occasions. Sweets cakes ice cream marshmallow and chocolate fountain not expensive I will certainly go again well worth the money I would highly recommend this restaurant 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The BEST buffet we've been to. Wide selection of foods. Every food was of high quality, cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. We would love to visit again when we go to Scotland another time.

Nice but very expensive. Better going to a world buffet where their is alot more options. Although their was alot of options. The customers seem to be full of undesirables on the few times I have visited. Swearing, ect, saying vulgar things while others are eating. Wich isn't the restaurants fault, but it isn't nice if you are on a date or a family day out.

A lovely buffet spent with partner and grandson. Excellent choice of foods available. Nice fresh flowers on the tables with balloons and fresh linen. A pleasant atmosphere.

We had a family meal here Tuesday lunchtime. The place was spotlessly clean. Wheelchair accessible. There was plenty of space around the tables and serving areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Tremendous selection of hot and cold food all very well laid out and attractive. Everything I had was very tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The wash rooms were modern and also spotless. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great place to fill you and kids boots with food sometimes really busy but we'll worth the visit never been disappointed

If you like to eat that place is for you. Last time we received a table in not very good condition, the paint was peeling, it wasn't very nice to sit at, the food was good and the service too.

It was my stepdaughter lynsey's birthday so we all went to the restaurant Ken myself Callum our grandson and our Paul food was amazing and staff were lovely

All you can eat buffet! - Absolutely loads of food choice and it was all certainly of a good quality. We arrived not long after opening, and everything was ready to go. Staff were attentive and cleared away the empty plates promptly. I would definitely go again. Nice setting and a big selection of food and desserts.

The food selection was excellent. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and attentive. My grandson and I really enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be back soon.

Tree overhanging the last space in the car park it was dark so couldn’t see it and wrecked my rear light. Please get this sorted.

Best chinese buffet out there, food is fresh & very good. Only downside is its a bit pricey if you go at weekend,(fri,sat,sun). Which we did, otherwise no complaints.

This place was bad. Food was dry. And looked as if laying there for a while. We arrived 3pm & was told close at 4pm chicken satay was dry. And tough. Maybe because we arrived an hour before closing but for price of £40 for 2 x people. Food should be fresh. Terrible Experience. And wouldn't return waste of money.

This place is terrible. Got here 3pm. Was told close at 4pm. Me & my wife went up for some food. Food dry & looked if it was there a while. Asian guy with red t shirt blowing his nose & wiping. But didn't wash his hands. The put blue gloves on ate an orange then goes on his phone. Then scratched his head. Then puts toppings on sushi . Made me feel sick this place has hygiene problems. Told young guy at desk. And told him won't be back absolute garbage. Not nice thing to say. But 100% bad

Theres a huge selection but if you are vegetarian or vegan there are no actual chinese veg dishes . There was plain noodles, rice, mac n cheese, pizza, mushrooms and plain boiled broccoli, brussel sprouts, green beans and all the carbs like onion rings etc so plenty to eat but for such a large buffet wd have been nice to actually choose a meal and have a treat . Meat eaters in party liked it but for me not worth the money as cd have eaten all that at home x

Enjoyable night with family for a double birthday celebration staff were very pleasant and helpful they cleared tables almost as soon as there were plates to clear as it was a buffet this was fairly regular as we were a large mixed group of adults and children with varying tastes of food which is why we went there as we often do for our family celebrations throughout the year albeit we tend to go to different ones only reasoning for this is it means we are able to enjoy and help our local eateries in our own small way.

Thought we would go for a nice lunch but turns out I would be wrong cutlery was not cleaned properly or the glassware it was full of smudges and dirty marks I get it’s a buffet and turn around it quick but the hygiene standards need to be higher in my opinion and my second plate sat on my table for over 20 minutes many servers looked at it and seen I had finished but ignored it and walked past it time and time again I moved it to the empty table behind mine before it got moved away but it was on that table a further 5 minutes over all the cleanliness of the table wear and service could be way better.

Fresh and tasty food. Wide selection and very spacious.

Food was okay, but every time I got up for food I noticed a strong smell of urine, noticed it as soon as I walked in. I wasn’t close to the bathrooms so I’m unsure if maybe some of the food smelled of urine but it ruined my appetite. Vegetarian options weren’t great.

Foods great , choices second to none , slightly on the expensive side around £23/£24 but still a nice experience.

The Food Menu was great, but I feel there could be more additions to the menu to give people more options. I had a Great Time Overall.

Food was cold despite a busy time. Usually the food is replaced more often as it'd being used faster . Quality of food has gone down

What can you say, the food is alright, doesn’t seem to be changed often, some of it looks like it’s been lying for quite sometime, service is atrocious played left lying about, stroppy kids walking about like they don’t want to be they’re. All in all steer clear

Nice place. Most of the food was cold and had conjealed because nobody cared to give them a stir. I also thought a lot of the food was quite bland but that could be put down to being cold. The music was terrible and looked if it was being controlled by the guy at reception with his hoody up over his head. Not very professional looking I have to say.

Enjoy our lunch here it was lovely what we got but the food was good it was cold not hot and it was with money that we paid for

5* for food Plenty of choice and hot. 2* for service as 1 member mustve have got out of bed the wrong way as seemed moody and ignored hubby at bar when needed serving then gave half hearted apology. We wont let that stop us going as the food was amazing

Great lunch, with lots of food options. Good service, and the restaurant was spotless. The only issue was the restaurant was a bit cold. That is why the atmosphere only got 4 stars, but all the rest was 5 stars.

The food is good for a buffet style Chinese/ Asian. A little expensive but good if you like a few plates.

I ain't big on the staff food amazing but had to ask 3 different staff for drinking keept getting ignored place was not even busy and I asked be moved from a flashing light as to ticks I take n got told no at that was my seat there was loads left to move me so not very happy

£35 for an adult and a child (10 year old). £20 for an adult, £12 for a child and £3 for a refillable drink. Food was okay, usual buffet menu, but defo not worth the cost. Won’t be back, prices are way too high for what’s on offer.

Table for 10. Buffet was varied, hot and delicious. Staff were attentive and friendly. The selection of starters, mains and desserts was excellent. First time back since the end of COVID and wasn’t disappointed. Back again soon. 👌

Huge amount of food on offer for everybody's taste European food and Japanese Sushi Bar loved the dim sum Salad bar and Dessert Bar was excellent lots of choices.

Visited for the first time with my wife. We found this particular Chinese buffet a cut above others we visited. An extensive range of Chinese dishes including the traditional dumplings, complemented by Japanese sushi, and some Italian fare. Quality was top notch.

Perfect every time I visit. The shredded crispy chicken in honey is superb!!!!

Awesome, everything you could want from a buffet. Lots of European food for those who don’t like Asian cusine. Accommodated our table of 15 without issue.

We held an important family gathering here for 30 people and it exceeded our expectations. There was an amazing selection of freshly cooked food to meet all tastes and dietary requirements. Every thing was delicious. Thank you to all staff for making us all so welcome.

Best buffet Chinese I've ever eaten at. This review is based on my second time here when I was staying at the hotel down the road. Can't really put my finger on why it is so good. The food seems fresh, chips and chicken are crispy, the noodles sauce etc is very flavourful. Staff were nice. Overall would highly recommend. Only giving it 4 stars because it was quite expensive but I suppose that's in line with most buffet places nowadays. Doesn't mean I have to like it though.

Lots of food and very good quality. Variety there so not just Chinese dishes. Not a cheap option if you are a normal eater but if you are hungry you will get great value.

I am not a huge fan of buffet restaurants, often too crowded and noisy, and the food is often very poor quality. However, Beijing Banquet is great. The food was good, the staff were efficient and friendly. The way that it is laid out stops that cacophony of noise that you get at some other restaurants. Highly recommended.

The food at this place was literally mouth watering, there was so many flavours and so many choices for both vegetarian and meat eaters. I was definitely full after my two helpings and to top it off they have deserts. Lastly if I was not driving I would have had a cocktail. Service was great. Thank you

This has become our regular place to go when choosing to eat out. Food selection is fantastic and tastes amazing, the staff r very helpful and friendly. They don't let plates pile up like some other buffets do. Good value for money too

Hard to fault this place. Incredible selection of food from Italian, British, Chinese and Japanese. All hot and fresh. The seafood was of excellent quality. One of the best buffet meals I have experienced. 👌

Best Chinese buffet we have ever had 10 out ov 10

Went in with a family of 14. Not my first visit here. Both visits fantastic. Pleasant staff, very clean. Well cooked food and large selection. Cannot fault any of it. Would highly recomend. Prices seem high but we'll worth the cost. For a buffet the food is always fresh. And there is enough of a selection to satisy anyones needs. Fantastic A+

great atmosphere. the food is exceptionally tasty. it's worth visiting this place with family and friends. you can eat to your heart's content. I used the dinner option - the restaurant opens at 5 p.m. to be able to use dinner. nice service. only the price could be a little lower.

Excellent selection of food and the atmosphere was perfect. The restaurant and toilets were extremely clean. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend the Beijing Banquet and I look forward to going back for a meal soon.
