Oriental Express in Renfrewshire

Got special curry with boiled rice, salt and pepper chips. Boiled rice was good. That's all I can say. PS done me a favour, never eating anything from a Chinese restaurant ever again.

Chicken was awful and curry sauce tasteless 👍

Called in to collect a Mother's Day meal. It was delicious!! Had peking ribs, then crispy chilli beef with rice. Well done!!!

3 stars as never actually used it! Staying at the Holiday Inn at the airport and came recommended especially because nearby in Renfrew. However after choosing everything online then called for delivery of was told they don’t deliver because “of the barriers for the drivers on that side of the motorway!!??” This will be the same barriers all other delivery drivers use when they deliver here?! Loads of drivers dropping food off to customers 24/7 and getting the ticket from reception to let them out the car park barrier free! Seems a senseless policy not to deliver here and lose business for no reason. Tried another Chinese takeaway instead who had no issues delivering here…

Food was excellent! Service was excellent and friendly. Prices also much better compared to other places nearby!

Have had take away from here several time now and just felt I needed to leave a review! I've had the most delicious chicken fried rice from me that I've ever tasted. Massive portions, brilliant value for money. Would recommend Oriental to anyone .

Was looking a reviews about this place before i had ordered last night but was very disappointed. Food wasn't good at all. Probably the worst chicken balls I've had and got chicken fried rice. Let's just say it smelt very much like reheated chicken was giving me the boak!! Won't be back what a waste of money

Had to stop coming here due to moving away from the street, but friendly staff, and curry sauce was very tasty, miss this place. I love my curry sauce, I've been and tried most Chinese takeout places around paisley, I know if I like the sauce I will be back again for more.

Visited for the first time and could not decide what to have. Opted for a teenage favourite and went for the chicken in ginger & spring onions. Asked for a slight modification and this was no trouble. Cooked fresh and very appertising. Very good value for money as well.

I was a student at Paisley in 2006. My treat was having tea at this takeaway weekly. We were visiting a friend in hospital and so I suggested we drive here. I was amazed to see it is the same owners but the vegetables and flavour have gone. I ordered king prawn chow mein and lemon chicken. I have never seen my Husband leave food. Mine did have king prawns in but just just noodles another's in soy. It used to have a lovely flavour and vegetables. So sad it has changed.

I live locally and use the Oriental Express regularly. I have had many great meals. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner and his wife. I have been going in since they opened and have never had cause to complain. KEEP IT UP.😊

I've used this Chinese Take-Away on an almost weekly basis for over 16 years now & have never been disappointed with a meal from here ... I don't think you could possibly Recommend anywhere more highly than that! Whether you place your order for 'Collection' or by 'Delivery' it's always piping hot & the food is of the highest standard. Service here really is the best around ... the Owner even kept the restaurant open slightly later the other night to allow me to collect a telephone order that I'd placed when returning from a night out in Glasgow!

I have been living in Glasgow for a year now and have ordered from here a few times. Although the food is lovely, great portion size and normal waiting time. It can sometimes be luck of the draw if you get everything you ordered, if ordering in big batches. A few times now I haven't received everything my friends and I have ordered and often the meals missing have been replaced by a side, munchie box or different meal. Personally I'm not hugely fussed by this but something to keep in mind! It won't stop me ordering from here though!

Living in Paisley this is the only Chinese Take-away I'd really Recommend to anyone. I love Chinese food, so having tried most of them I can honestly say this one is easily the Best! The food is always freshly prepared, staff are friendly, helpful and will meet any requirements you have food-wise even it's not on the menu. The Chicken Soups are wonderful, only containing breast meat and none of that grey, dodgy looking chicken you get in so many places. Main Courses are the same, the meat is always perfectly cooked, fat free & extremely tasty. Portions Sizes are good & the food is always piping hot whether you collect it yourself or use their Delivery Service. I've used here weekly for over 15 years and have never once had a bad meal & I've tried most of the dishes on the menu over that period. I can't Recommend this establishment highly enough ... the foods always Great!

My local as stay in argyle st they also do things off menu for u. Try the malaisisn chickn satay. Amazing. Frst class in my books.
