Decided to try East Star again after being put off a year or two ago. Wish I hadn’t tasteless curry, soggy chips and the weirdest looking and tasting sweet n sour sauce I have ever had. Rotten.

Ordered delivery, after 90minutes when it didn't arrive, phoned back. Apparently it was sent to wrong address. They reported contact number we gave only had 10 digits, hence they couldn't call us. Cancelled order. Then received abusive phone call from manager to state why I hadn't call back earlier and stated shop was closed, but still had an hour of opening time. Amazing how he knew number to call back to give abuse but not for order. Will not recommend, in future. Horrified that this is his approach to customer service!!!

Food is always good and i don't think they could pack anymore into the Chicken Noodle Soup. Very friendly service and well worth the money. Always look forward to getting a takeaway.

Had a takeaway from here and believe me I have had a few Chinese in my time but this was very poor. The food tasted like it was soup and that was the Singapore Noodles! Onto the curry fried rice and would you believe it tastes the same, there was a strange smell from the food, really pungent but what the hell it was I have no idea. Needless to say 95% of it ended up in the bin. First time trying this place and deffo the last,

Never tried here before will definitely be ordering again. Delivery was quick and food was delicious and large portions. Disappointed in our regular take away so decided to give this one a go and won't be ordering anywhere else.

First chinese meal for long time. Decided during lockdown to try one and chose East Star for a carry out. Pleaseant suprise! Large portions of very nice food. Satay was excellent as was singamore noodle. Delivery good and food all warm and tasty. Will try again. issue!! They have a web site. I ordered a few days before using the web site onylto find out an hour and a half after ordering that the web site was not operational. This needs to be sorted but it doeant detract from the food.

Had an issue with delivery a week ago, but phoned Toni the manager who was professional and understanding. He immediately stated I could have the full price of the meal (£29) for another meal at my choice of time. He also told me to keep my original meal. When I phoned for my replacement meal, it was delivered with no payment required or any questions asked. Brilliant meal and service. Well done East Star. Brilliant Chinese!.

Terrible customer service ! In a time where things are difficult due to lockdown you would think they would be grateful for business and do their best to provide a decent service to customers ! Staff are verbally abusive and rude when customers voice their discontent with the less than average food ! Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back !

I phoned to complain that my food wasn’t nice, had no flavour to it. The girl started shouting to the boss that’s her that always complains obviously didn’t know I could hear. I complained about a year ago as the chicken I got was slimy that’s all. They said they are not replacing it as they are to busy. It wasn’t a cheap order. Definitely won’t be back and I have been going there for many years and so have my family, none of us will be back again.

Just found this takeaway after 22 yrs living in Paisley, probably due to Covid where everything else is closed. I just wanted to say it is my favourite by far!!. I've only ordered twice but this is my new go to takeaway. Excellent tasty food, and brilliant price, customer service, portion sizes and great delivery. Well done East Star, especially through these difficult times. 😁

We have been going to the East Star for over 15 years and always satisfied with the food service and the portions . We have now moved to the outskirts of Renfrew and to my delight the East Star still deliver and much quicker than the take aways in Renfrew. I wish to offer my best wishes to Tony and his staff at the East Star in these monumental difficult times. A great takeaway . Long may they continue !

This was one of the best Chinese meals I’ve had in years I recently stopped getting takeaways from my local Chinese as they were bland and tasteless but found this little gem The food is fresh very tasty and great portions The chicken satay and Singapore noodles are the best I’ve eaten in along time Also very friendly staff I’ll be making this my new Chinese takeaway even If I do have to drive from Renfrew to collect Well worth it

Love the meal deal boxes from here. Food is always cooked fresh which can mean a bit of a wait at times at busy periods but don't let that put you off as i just call a head of me going to collect.

I've been to many chinese over the years even some restaurants who don't match up to Tony and his other guys' cooking. 10/10!!

I've ordered a few different meals from here and each time the portions have been on the large side which is fantastic. It's always full of flavour and the salt and chilli range is a must have!

I love delicious food, and like to eat around. I have tried many take away and restaurant, East star is the best: delicious and good price!

Chicken was raw. Sunday 8th January. I have contacted RDC Environmental health with regard to this. We use this take away most weekends. Well we will not be doing that now.

Best salt & chilly chips in paisley .. always resnable priced . Gr8 choice of menu & chicken curry not 2' spicy which suits me 2 a T..

Food and service is out of this world. Try the meal deals. They are pretty damn good. Menu is quite good and prices not too bad.
