Customer service is great and the location is off the high street on chapel road market. There is loads of seating upstairs and downstairs. I got my usual soya hot chocolate and it was good. The decor is welcoming. Lots of snacks and sweets to choose from.

waitress is on facetime whilst serving people. I ordered the vitality oats (50% off) - charged me full price. oats were 70% milk … looked like a bowl of milk. Asked if i wanted chocolate and i said no because im allergic to dairy hence ordering the vegan porridge and soya coffee. porridge and coffee had chocolate on it ! had to ask to make again

same as every costa except the staff are nicer than usual

Customer service was brilliant, 10/10. They went above and beyond and the young man, and woman (I think she was a manager), went the extra mile to help me. They did not make it feel like I was just another number, but they made me feel like I was a local, and that they were the owners of a family run business. I even decided to get a Costa Loyalty card because of them. And the Coffee was delicious and smooth!

Costa in Angel, Islington on Chapel Market Road is INVESTED by flies. Visited today one member of staff was lovely the other was slightly rude. They didn’t have tall glasses for large hot chocolates like most Costa’s do and they didn’t have Marshmallows or other stuff. There are SO many flies in this Costa and they haven’t done anything about it.

So wonderful and helpful people work here. You made my day “Costa”

The two staff members this morning were excellent. It makes such a big difference to get amazing customer service, particularly in a chain. They seemed to know all their regulars, and were going over and above to help. Give them a rise!

This was my first visit to this particular Costa, located in Chapel Market. It looked a little busy. I noticed there wasn't many seats inside. I knew I had the 40% off food reward, I decided to have my lunch here. I usually order a Wiltshire ham and cheese toastie and as a treat, this time I ordered a millionaires shortbread. I noticed the staff member wasn't giving eye contact or concentrating. I guess there were only two staff members working but I felt she lacked attentiveness or even politeness, let alone a smile. Anyway I knew what I had ordered and it seems relatively straightforward. I noticed I didn't get my shortbread so I asked her for it. She insisted I didn't order it, and wanted to show me the receipt. I refused to accept this and questioned what had happened, I noticed when she was slicing my toastie, she rolled her eyes at me. This is really unacceptable and shouldn't be any sort of customer service/front line behaviour. I called her out in front of other customers and her colleague witnessed it all but kept quiet. I was adamant I ordered the item knowing I had the 40% reward but it was difficult to resolve as there was a line for ordering. She denied me placing the item, taking no accountability. This is my first and last visit to Costa coffee Angel, very disappointedm Please consider retraining your staff and if there are to multi task, summarise customers orders to avoid further mistakes.

The best costa in the company. Manager is always friendly and very welcoming. The staff always have a smile on their faces and the coffee is always made fresh and tastes good. Always a great experience in the store

Wow really quiet and peaceful! No loud music playing to drive you out and stop your conversation. So unusual these days when mindless sheeple are happy to be blasted by noise and hard left propaganda. 5 Stars. Completely independent review.

No phone signal and the internet was terrible. Coffee and service were great though but if you need to stop off for work emails and calls then here isn't the place

Went yesterday for a espresso macchiato I was given a boiling large cup with mostly milk. The space look dirty and I won’t be coming back for sure!! The coffe’ went into the bin

Frappe was delicious, still iced when arrived. The only negative was that there were no straws which to drink it through.

Best coffee I had. The barrista Angela is quite amazing with a wonderful smile. She makes the most amazing coffee with perfect temperature and taste. Since then, I have visited this Costa many times and always had great experience. 👍

I've been searching for a decent coffee since we arrived in this neighborhood a few days ago. After trying quite a few coffee houses with compromised results, I believe I found my coffee. The capuchino at Costa was exactly what I wanted. The exact combination between strong present coffee flavor and steamed milk. I read a few negative reviews about this brach. At retrospect, I find them all without a merit.

I asked for no whipped cream as I’m lactose intolerant and they put it in my frappe. I asked for oat milk for a reason

I don't know what was in the Coffee but I had a job to find a Bean in it and if I were to be honest, my Stomach felt strange for the rest of the Day. Was the Milk off? Had the Pipes ever been given a thorough clean? I don't know what it was as I had eaten a light Breakfast at home ( my usual Porridge, Cup of Tea, Brioche and Jam) so it couldn't have been any of that stuff which upset me

Disappointingly scruffy, tables not cleared. One person serving only, but friendly and helpful. Food was as expected.

Food not great, chairs were filthy and stained.

Service ranges here from incredibly lovely to a jobsworth manager (young female with dark hair and peroxide streaks growing out), who said she could only serve a particular drink I wanted because they still had the ingredients but technically it wasn't on the menu. It appeared a labourious task for her and that I was being done an absolute favour. I explained I understood this but had been ordering it the past three weeks no problem... She was very passive aggressive and it was unnecessary... Particularly when you still have the sauce in your display. Maybe move it?!? Costa on my road is out of business so was driving down here a few times a week to treat myself. Nice way to lose custom. Being kind doesn't hurt.

It wasn't busy so surprised to see dirty tables, dirty chairs. Hand sanitizer empty.

Open early, great for a hot cuppa before work 😊 Lots of extra seating and loos downstairs.

This place is hidden which isn’t in the main road but it’s worth visiting I hit serviced by a lady called Angela The lady is very polite, smile, saying sweet words which will give you strangers a positive energy Highly recommended, the cafe is quite and clean. Angela sounds a lady who likes her job. Today I got something more than a coffee just a positive energy Thanks for reading

Small place but top quality refreshments friendly service

I had a brunch take-out in Chapel Market in Islington with Costa Coffee Club Card and App.

Always very welcoming , friendly staff which I appreciate a lot. It helps a lot . Clean and nice atmosphere. I had a latte and muffin . Sat in . A lovely branch of the chain . I hope Costa continues to accept cash as I don't want to live my life on plastic or technology.

Food was stale and was binned at least 2 days old

This stores opening time says 06:30am on the front door. . . I'm still standing outside waiting for it to open. It's now 06:50 the shop is in darkness no sign of life at all. Shoddy 👎🏻

Not a great place to order online ordered a shared pack of muffins and without asking receive two packs of cookies one being chocolate other fruit and oats like there was other cakes or muffins instead could of offered me or gave a refund not happy at all so thanks for that.

Love Costa. This shop in particular has really lovely staff. Am a regular visitor here. Following several recent visits (jan22) this place is in serious need of attention. The floors downstairs are dangerously uneven and the floor boards move. Needs a good clean too.

Just wanted to say that the delivery rider, was so polite and nice. and my lift was broken and he was still in high spirits and smiles delivering my item. He is a asset to your company :)

Staff friendly, but over worked, very busy. Toilets are not good. Only one on site, you nerd a code found on a receipt. Once inside the toilet I found that someone had pee'd all over the seat.

I did not receive my full order and I have been charged for items that were unavailable.

The lady who called herself Francissa (glasses, brown hair pulled back was short and rude from the outset. I wondered if she'd passed through a wrong instruction and I checked my order and she said 'I was talking to my colleague' with a sneer. There are many other coffee houses in A ngel and we shan't return until the manager has resolved the issue.

Went to sit downstairs and very poor reception but not sure if it was the mountain of boxes or the smell that was the most annoying although less annoying that the staff talking about you to other customers behind your back.... No thank you I won't come back . Dirty and smelly..

Perfect service resulted in ordering here because of being let down to a different restaurant and ended up getting 4 free items as a gift and wished me a good day, will 100% be ordering again. What a lovely team of employees.

Only one member of staff in the shop. and waiting ten minutes for the girl to serve one customer! So I walked out in the end! hire more staff!

OK but AC on too high. I asked for a breakfast tea and when the girl repeated it back she said caramel latte?!?! So had to repeat myself. Same with another two customers had to repeat themselves too

Brilliant customer service! Honestly, one of the best Costa Coffee branches I have visited! The 2 ladies working here between 1pm-2.45pm on Wednesday 07th October were brilliant! They had the store well organised and they served me very kindly and professionally! This branch feels very homely and has a relaxing atmosphere with seating all around the store and in the basement. There are facilities such as Toilets and baby changing rooms available here! Social distancing measures are strictly in place and all employees are wearing some form of PPE! There is a wide range of lunch options and there are plenty of hot toasties. Costa Coffee is more expensive than Greggs (literally there is a Greggs next door to them) but you are getting excellent quality for the price. Greggs is much cheaper and if you are looking for good quality food for an affordable price I would say head to Greggs! They aren't even far off Costa Coffee in terms of quality and taste and there is a wider range of lunch options at Greggs than here! Plus Greggs Bacon is better than Costas Bacon! I don't eat bacon but all my friends who do tell me that! Overall though,I strongly recommend this Costa Coffee branch to you!

The Coconut Vanilla Latte is amazing and so is the Tuna Melt, it's the best I've ever tasted.

Avoid, at all cost apparently it a franchise, they don't the follow the regular promotion like the free dairy options.

0 Rated Hygiene Practices - please watch out Today (01st MAY) visited this place for my morning coffee- by the time I enter the shop the lady was Cleaning the Fridz with gloves on - she came over to take my order - she left gloves on and prepared my coffee 😳 I watched her doing this all - then I realised it completely wrong - I asked her and said this is wrong not acceptable - she asked if she can prepare another drink - I said no as was in rush to go to office - SHE DIDNT BOTHER TO APPOLOGISE - I asked for a receipt - she was so rude and very un professional and started showing her FRUSTRATION WHAT A NIGHT MARE - I DO RECOMMEND COSTA - I lover my cofee frm COSTA But definitely NOT FROM THIS COSTA CHAPELMARKET - try some where else

Went in for a coffee, very pleasant staff and not too busy.

Average Costa coffee in Chapel Market. Fairly large step into shop, they say you can ask for help from staff if you need assistance getting in but how can you get the staffs attention when they're at the back of the store working. Once in store couple of steps up to counter is another hurdle to overcome if you're not able bodied. Seating upstairs not comfortable, seating downstairs not tried. On a Friday around 2pm only 2 staff seemed to be on duty, sign on door saying staff required, and saw 1 customer waiting for her toasty for quite some time .... staff had heated it but not made her aware it was ready.
