I'd leave 0 stars if I could. The person who served me was extremely unnecessarily rude when I asked for a drink that they didn't have — how was I supposed to know they didn't have it especially when it wasn't written on the board or the app or anything? No apology for being out of the drink or anything, just complete and utter rudeness. This is unacceptable especially considering this Costa is in a hospital.

I have just visited this Costa in the hospital and I wanted just to get an espresso, they guy who served me even didn’t had his uniform on and just notified me that they are closing because of short staff (they were three people there) and the coffe machine is cleaned so he can only make tea. I do work in Costa myself and I have never ever seen such bad service and telling to customers that they are closing 3hrs before official time of closing because of staff shortige. Well I still got the tea but I will not come back to this one Costa rather then my local ones.

Staff keep talking to each other in a foreign languages when serving customers . No eye contact no much interaction unless is to take the payment. You cannot be serving somebody and talk to colleagues in a foreign language .

First of all, customer service there is not that great. Especially one guy is always rude and seems like he hates his job. Second of all today (29.11.2023) opening hours on the website says they open till 6pm, they were already closed at 4.30 pm. When I asked why, they said „because „. Absolutely outrageous.

I was attending hospital central Middlesex and about 2.45, I decided to buy a muffin, as a little thank you gesture to my consultant - firstly the counter wasn’t stocked up , the muffins were out the back and was brought to me- however the muffin was thrown into the bag upside down and the whole thing ruined. Not impressed with such bad service and to have to ask for a napkin - the mannerism wasn’t very customer centric.

Stopped to get a coffee on exiting North Middlesex hospital. This branch is located on the ground floor, near the hospital's main entrance. There were a few customers at the time of my visit but the service was still fairly slow. There were few cake items available. The restaurant and seating area was very clean.

What is with the girl working here. Always a queue when she's working, rude, slow and makes awful coffee. Why do you keep closing early as well?! So stupid when visiting hours are until 8, that you close at 3:30pm but decide to close at 2pm today! It's not just visitors who expressed their disbelief at the rude lady and early close but NHS staff too! These are people who look after the sick and Ill. Shameful!

The Costa Coffee cafe is very pleasant although it needs cleaning. The coffee is good but the service terrible. The tall man who seems to work there every day is rude and grumpy. He almost shouted at me because I could not understand what he said. As many of the customers are patients, there should be someone kind and sensitive and not a grumpy bully.

This is the worst coffee I've had from any Costa outlet. Wanted soya milk but they had run out so I opted for semi skilled milk with Hazel nut syrup. To say it was vile is an understatement. In fact I wasn't even sure I was drinking coffee as for the hazelnut syrup, was there any?

The one staff member working was excellent. Totally unfair that she's having to do everything on her own at lunchtime though. She was also the only person serving the other morning. Long queues with potential customers walking away on both occasions. Sort it out.

OK. I'm oncology patient and after my chemo session I just wanted cup of hot chocolate. Unfortunately it was finished and instead of that older quy suggested me "white hot chocolate " i understand that it's only sweet milk and cream on top and he still charged me £3.50 of chocolate princes and after that another lady started to laugh from me. I'm ok to pay £3.50 but laughing from the costumer....? Sadly I don't know their names. I think it was my last time in this coffee shop. Shame....

On the week days I have no issues the the staff are polite and efficient, especially Mariam who always looks after me. Weekends are the complete opposite and I genuinely dread coming to get a coffee on the weekend because it’s the same individual who takes 30 minutes to serve 3 people. It’s beyond belief anyone can move this slowly. Please please please do something about this person because it is frustrating working in a busy hospital and wait this long for something simple as a coffee.

The passion is not there and I guess it must be incredibly difficult to manage quality on an operation point of view. But today the coffee was just really really bad. In the hospital they have a captive audience, as the choice is Costa or the no-name coffee shop very nearby in the main hospital entry way which used to be an affiliate of Starbucks but have gone downhill since. Sometimes this Costa serves a good brew, sometimes not so much, depends on the barista on the day. No matter who it is, they often can't keep up with demand. They pointedly only stock artificially-sweetened 'diet' soft drinks, which cause migraines in many of us, in the fridge. And various cakes and syrups totally undermining the healthy point at the cost of their customers' choice.

Great service, nice seating and environment compared with the other choices in the hospital and has a nice vibe. I think having something "normal", everyday and routine for patients and family to do is very beneficial to morale and health. More hospitals should have proper cafés and restaurants.

Ordered curry goat rice and peas and 2 x stew chicken and patties. All were stone cold as if just out of fridge only things that were hot was the patties. Very very disappointed as had to microwave it all when got home. What’s the point of paying for a takeaway that’s supposed to be hot and fresh then having to reheat it? Not only dangerous but unacceptable!

The fake reviews are getting worse for this place, so many people first and last thoughts of anywhere are this place. Come on think about it. As for the food, it's really poor, once they were queuing out the door and now they are walking straight past it. No longer freshly made chips, these are cooked from frozen and the same for the fish. But wait for it, all the food is basic low grade catering stock. This place would have 1 star if it was not for the fake reviews. Can you still get real fish and chips in Enfield? I very much doubt it.
