You get a better reception if you're not black. I sat there noticed the difference between service you get. They're more friendly if you are not black lol 😂. I am not lying visit yourself to see the differences.

I recently visited here and had an exceptional experience, thanks to the outstanding customer service provided by the staff. The guy there was friendly, attentive, and went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed. He was very welcoming, efficient, and truly made my visit enjoyable. The coffee was great, as always. Highly recommend this Costa location for both the quality of the beverages and the top-notch customer service. I'll definitely be returning!

Boycott Costa and go to the Royal Bakery opposite' its a fresh and a small business to support

Been coming here for the past few years it had been decent But it's just getting worse I'm in here right now there are 5 people sitting separately at a 4 person table with there laptops out and taking up the whole space they don't even have a coffee or anything else purchased in the store they have brought there own food with them and a water bottle most of the people are just using it as a work space as with most costas people not buying anything just sitting using the WiFi and using the facilities this is a coffee shop not a work office this does need to stop If this was a independent coffee shop staff would walk over and ask can I take your order They would not be allowed to sit in there without buying anything But because they can get away with it they will continue to do so costa needs to put a stop to this

Decent enough coffee from a high street brand leader, but the usual proliferation of sugar-based food items which are simply "fattening". SG.

I walked into this place six times in six weeks. Every time I wanted that ice coffee, they excuse was there’s no ice. I’ll find it ridiculous. How hard is it to get ice?

Muffins had been left under the hot paninis so they were squished and soggy and gross.

Just want to say that the girl who is always there in the early mornings makes the most divine flat white, I think I left hundreds of pounds here because of her 😂

I recently visited Costa Coffee in Stoke Newington and had the pleasure of being served by Sandra. I must say, the service I received was exceptional. Sandra was friendly, welcoming, and had a genuine enthusiasm for her job. Not only did Sandra make my experience enjoyable, but the cappuccino I ordered was made to perfection by a chubby young gentleman. The presentation was beautiful, with a perfectly frothed milk and a delightful dusting of cocoa on top. The taste was equally as impressive, with a rich and smooth flavor that left me wanting more. The atmosphere of the Costa Coffee in Stoke Newington was cozy and inviting. The seating area was comfortable, and the decor created a warm and relaxing environment to enjoy my drink. The staff, including Sandra and the chubby young gentleman, seemed to genuinely care about their customers' experience, which added to the overall positive vibe of the place. I highly recommend visiting Costa Coffee in Stoke Newington, especially if you have the pleasure of being served by Sandra. Her friendly demeanor and excellent customer service skills truly made my visit memorable. And let's not forget the fantastic cappuccino made by the talented chubby young gentleman. It's safe to say that Costa Coffee in Stoke Newington has become my go-to spot for a delicious cup of coffee.

Always such a friendly welcome from all members of staff, customers are always friendly too. Great atmosphere and a great place to sit and have a coffee.

Simply my favourite Costa / coffee establishment. I have being visitingthe café since it opened and what sets in apart is the staff team that work there. They are always friendly, chatty and make one feel most welcome. It may well be a chain but this Costa has the vibe and feel of an independent coffee shop.

I always find this a serene place even when busy. Staff are friendly and brew the best coffee!

Nice place, nice staff, coffee can be spot-on. I like Costa a lot. But I hardly go these days because they've got to up their game regarding prices and offers if they want to compete with Pret down the road.

The staff here are so welcoming, with permanent smiles often. Okay, maybe an off day was experienced by one recent reviewer, and that happens for sure. Generally, though, the staff are efficient and always happy to engage with customers.

Was not impressed with the service today 20/09/22 I waited in line for 15 mins for a female employee to look up at me and then carry on tapping away on her laptop while having 3 customers waiting in line When she finally came to the front and I complained the lady who can’t communicate resulting in being rude to me I left and went to the new pret in stoke newington I will not be wasting my time with terrible service

I'm a regular. The place is always nice and people are friendly. Flat white is delicious and one of the baristas is a true artist when it comes to latte art.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Friendly efficient staff, lovely hot choc made with oat milk and a rather festive turkey and cranberry hot toasted sandwich to top it all off!

if order coffee with oat milk ,look what they doing because they not recognise oat milk with ordinary milk. Today happened again.

It was fine , service excellent... just a bit messy and in a personal perspective should be more space between tables , I like the signs indicating the one way system.

İ Love Costa coffee. My favourite. Always clean and beautiful smell of coffee and pastry. Their staff are the best when it comes to customer service. İ wish they could decrease their prices a little. And provide more for their card members. During Starbucks tax evasion i was proud to find out that Costa paid all its taxes.

I've been coming to this coffee shop since it opened. Never had such a rubbish service like today. It's a shame. The two girls that were working this afternoon (18/1/20) have no clue of what they're doing. Honestly, they managed to put me in a very bad mood.

Lovely place to get your hot drinks either sit in or take out the staff are always super nice except for one to two occasions which is understandable due to being human like the rest of us. Layouts great Drinks are fab Have disabled access

Amazing customer service - always smiling and welcoming customers. The coffee too is great. The toilets are always clean - without any locks. Its definately a great place to sit and have your coffee whilst catching up with work - or friends!

I'm a regular customer. I like Costa coffee so it was important to have coffee restaurant in my area, but this place has some more advantages comparing with other Costa's e.g. two of them in Dalston. The staff is amazing, it's usually not crowded except lunch time and most important thing is they have better internet connection than other restaurants (10mbps download and 10mbps upload). This upload speed is not usual in other places, but it's important for example to upload files or photos for friends or backups. Usually, everyone have <1mbps upload so it's not possible to upload big documents.

Nice branch, bravely amongst the Stoke Newington cafes. Has the range of Costa offerings with good service standards and very clear and clean. Really great nightclub style loos and nicely laid out. Has a slight independant look to it, so blends in (no pun intended) a little better.

Guaranteed fresh coffee, super friendly staff. Always greeted with a smile. It's pretty much a second home.
