Coffee shop was clean and tidy. The staff were helpful and cheerful.

The Google map direct you to Church! Is this how you are trying to get popple to Church? With misdirection? U always have done that.

Nice drink nice sandwich, but yet again for costa poor cleanliness. Picked a table cause it had just been wiped down, however quick wipe with a tissue and it was black, also cups were stained and not washed well.

We use this costa often but this morning the service from Adam (I believe) was exceptional. Working alone for a short time as the shop opened there was a queue to the door, Adam was professional yet friendly and so calm. What impressed me as I waited for my turn to be served was how he knew customers names and greeted them individually, knowing what their drink would be he was one step ahead making the drinks. I work in hospitality and I understand the importance of customer care, Adam is a credit to your store/company and should be recognised for his dedication, maybe even be asked to train others to this level. Costa you have a star working for you. My coffee was great as always too and other staff members are always pleasant.

I'm not sure I enjoy cafe's in Malls. Being able to look on to the street adds life to the coffee drinking experience.

This is my favourite Costa by far. Adam and Amy (the staff I get to see the most) are really friendly and I've always had a nice experience whenever they're in.

I come to Costa most days to have an hour to myself and do some reading for work. It really is a great coffee shop. The coffees are delicious. Most of all, the staff are brilliant. They know my order, have a sunny disposition and daily chat. Sitting listening, I can hear that every customer who comes in is given the same welcome. They know all the regulars and make the morning coffee experience a great one.

The staff are friendly and helpful. I had a issue once with the coffee cup lids, it didn't fit correctly and it spilt on my gor-tex jacket. I told the manager and he did his absolute best, however head office didn't care and I was met with excuses. However the manager went out of his way to help. Unfortunately I will never buy coffee from Costa again, and to be honest there coffee beans are rubbish anyway.

Really bad customer service member of staff not helpful at all and said I was the aggressive one asked for a white chocolate got a cup full of warm milk I WILL NOT BE GOING THERE AGAIN lacking proper customer service training.

Staff here are always really friendly and helpful even on the busiest days. Tables are cleared very quickly and the place is always kept spotless. Overall a lovely place for a coffee and quick bite to eat.

May I ask the manager to make signage more clear as I noticed many people think they can enter shop with their mask around their necks. The manager asked my husband to step back onto the floor signage however missing the point the lady in front wasn't wearing her mask on face. NEEDS TO SORT OUT MORE SIGNAGE FOR OLDER GERERATION. IT IS CPNFUSING FOR SOME. Other then that staff serving were very friendly.

Nice coffee and food. I ordered a Ruby Cocoa Hot Chocolate and Chocolate Tiffin... The only thing that let it down was the dirty cutlery, but I didn't use it anyway

This Costa Coffee site is within the shopping arcade in Whitley Bay and is always a busy one, the staff are very friendly and helpful, they also have a great rapport with their clientele, it is always a pleasure to come in and be greeted with a smile!!

Ordered a Lotus biscuit muffin, when I asked where the biscuit was from the top I was told 'That one hasn't got a biscuit unfortunately!' very politely. Chose a table with comfy seats, unfortunately the floor was very messy from the last occupants. I put this down to it being close to the end of the day, when the floor would be swept. Not the best visit I've had.

Spectacular! The staff are amazing and the quality of their food and quality are 10x better than Starbucks and woods combined

Whitley bay Excellent service. The only Costa we have ever been in where she made two cups of coffee at the same time. Normally you have to wait while they do one cup, give it to you then start making the second cup. WHY ???

Can be crowded at peak times. Friendly staff and indoor & in-mall seating. Has lots of dietary options for drinks (almond, soy, coconut and lacto-free milk) although not a great range of savory food options for allergies etc.

Wow love the makeover and refurbish Staff still as friendly and efficient as ever but a bright cafe makes the visit even more pleasurable

The new layout to Costa whitley bay opens the entrie shop up and makes it more communal. The new vanilla latte is a new personal favourite and would absolutely suggest to anyone in the area. Although commercial Costa never loses its local, friendly vibe and is a perfect place to bring visiting family and business colleagues alike

Unfortunately I had a very poor takeaway large caramel latte,it was quite unpleasant, not a nice experience at all! Very disappointed.

Had a latte and a biscuit for two people. Had to double check the price because it felt like I'd been charged for a meal out. The coffee and the biscuits were fine but I could have obtained similar products from any number of outlets.
