Costa Coffee in Richmond upon Thames

Soy un cliente de este lugar debido a mi lugar de trabajo local, pero hoy en mi camino a la farmacia necesitaba urgentemente el inodoro y apareció y cortésmente le preguntó a la señora que trabaja allí que, si puedo usar el inodoro. Normalmente no hago eso pero en esta ocasión tengo infección renal y dije por favor déjame. Dijo que el baño es solo para clientes y me rechazó. No creo que nunca vaya a este lugar de nuevo. ¿Dónde está la simpatía por los demás?

Very friendly and understanding, atmosphere is cozy and warm, been coming to this costa since I was a kid, would recommend !!

This is a pleasant cafe with helpful staff and air conditioning (thankfully). I just wish they’d turn the music down. Anyone who wants music can use headphones, and it’s really annoying to have loud background noise. Good coffee though,.,

Completely wasting their time leaving out hand sanitiser whilst their staff seemingly can’t be bothered to clean ANY of the tables despite being very quiet. FILTHY I see it’s 3 and half years since they were last inspected and amazingly granted a 5 for hygiene. I say again FILTHY

Service OK. Coffee appalling, watery and tastless, not like normal Costa coffee. Won't be bothering next time.

Costa coffee shops are pretty formulaic and you generally get what you expect. This one is not small and yet - no croissants or any pastries. No bacon roll. You have to collect your food - they should you from behind the screen. The staff seem extraordinarily uninterested. Service slow. Two staff found a straightforward order difficult to understand. Absolutely no interaction - no smile and they didn’t acknowledge my order - had to check they’d got it, Great location on Teddington Broad Street. But give it a miss and go elsewhere.

Terrible service I visited 14 April 16:20 I order through app for collection 2 coffes paid for it. When I showed my confirmation number one of member of staff she said she don't see this order and refused to make it shame end up paying again not coming back to that shop again

Bad tempered staff who like to spend time on their personal phones rather than serve customers. Wont bother going back here at all. You would think they would know how to use their own equipment.

I have visited many Costas and this always has the friendliest staff. And the Coffee is excellent too. Thanks

I went to Costa coffee Teddington store with my dog and I asked the attendant Julia for a coffee and a snack to eat in, however when I was about to seat I was very rudely asked to leave the coffee shop by the very same Julia because I was with my dog. Why she didn't tell me this before handing me the coffee? She saw me with the dog and still let me order something in. Not to mention the way she treated me. I politely asked her if I could stay just for 5 minutes to finish my coffee and she said that I could sit outside in the RAIN !!! It was very rude and disrespectful and it ruined my day. I always go to this store with my dog and nobody never told me that dogs aren't allowed there. I'm not coming back after this. *Besides that the barista didn't add the cream on the top of the coffee like it should be

A member of staff called Julianna needs a wbole new attitude while she is covering the till. I order an almond milk cortado which she responded by rolling her eyes. After that I asked what was the supplement for almond milk which she struggle to answer. Few min after I asked her for a napkin and she again rolled up her eyes on me. It's a shame the barista did such a beautiful coffee to be all spoilt but a very ugly attitude.

Really central location to Teddington, and therefore very useful for commuters and local residents but soured by bad tempered and lazy staff. Even though I keep giving it another chance, it’s a letdown every time.

As usual the quality of the coffee is very good. I think you never go wrong when you go to Costa ....

Quando sono a Teddington prendo ogni giorno da Costa un buon cappuccino della migliore tradizione italiana; ottimi anche i dolci.

Came in to grab a coffee and lunch I had a toastie and my partner had a wrap, both to be heated. The man who served us was rude, moody and just basically couldn't be bothered to be there. When coffees were ready my partner had to ask if they were for us as they just put the tray there and said nothing. When the food came over it was still at fridge temperature. We ask the man that served us to reheat them, he took the plates and just replied yeh fine.. it's not hard to just have a smile and be polite. I know it's only a coffee shop but still have some customer service

I've never reviewed a coffee shop before... but then again I've never experienced such service in a coffee shop before! So I get off the bus in sunny Teddington after having a row with the missus... strangely I decide on a coffee, instead of a beer from the pub opposite. Was going to get a take away and enjoy the clear autumn day by the river but ended up staying due to the friendliness of the guy serving me! I wanted a coffee and a sandwich/pastry and was in a stinker of a mood, didn't expect the guy serving me to be so personable, he clearly spotted that I was having a bad day and within a minute he'd made me smile for the first time in about 4 days! He genuinely seemed to care and even gave me a cookie on the house. My cappuccino was to the standard you would expect from Costa but the service from Dan, who I'm pretty sure is the Manager, was way above and beyond. Really seemed to care about every person in the place... the staff, the customers, the delivery guy that came in... all got a super friendly smile and the sort of attention you expect from your local pub (if it's a good one) rather than a chain coffee shop. Anyway... big up Dan who really changed my opinion on chain coffee shops, thanks for picking me up with more than just the caffeine

After a nice walk, why not go into this Costa and be greeted by happy staff, nice cappuccinos and a toasted emmental and mushroom toastie. Why can't the latter be toasted on both sides?

I apply for a job and indirectly I've been refused because I'm pregnant,saying that they already found somebody who meets them requirements , I did mentioned from the begging I'm pregnant on the early stage... pure lies and really disappointing as huge company they don't really care and they refuse to give a chance for work. As future single mother I will like to make some extra money saving up for my baby but because of this kind of people we can't have the chance... is really sad and frustrating. And yes they never found nobody because the add is still on and the manager been online too. Thank you

Have to compliment the staff that work at Costa Teddington. Always a smile on their faces, always helpful, and a real friendly atmosphere. (no matter if it is at 7am or 5pm) I go there because the staff makes the difference.

Qué esperar de una empresa que sólo reproducir la misma sensación de estilo café mirar música ambiente comida y cualquier otra cosa que se pueda pensar en cada ubicación el considere oportuno establecer una tienda.

We went into this costa at six o clock in the evening, it closes at 7 so we thought we would just have a quick coffee, my hubby ordered a latte and a normal coffee, he was told that it had to be served in takeaway cups because they were closing even though there was another hour to go. They also said they had to put a lid on the cups! we sat down to drink the coffee and then a woman sat down with her coffee serve in a normal glass!! I then went to use the loo there was no toilet paper and they were waiting to be cleaned but all of the cleaning stuff had been left right by the toilet, in the end we left, the coffee tasted awful and the staff weren't exactly friendly, won't be rushing back

my mate tiago works there so even if the coffee tats like pengy the service is still only bloody ace

Muy muy decepcionante. Pedí un capuchino grande wet. No estaba mojado, ni tampoco era grande ya que estaba medio vacío. Por suerte me hicieron una nueva. Como un fumador y obviamente los fumadores son los que hoy día los leprosos fuera. triste Aunque eran siempre que ceniceros nunca vaciado y las mesas he limpiado o vasos retirados.

Another Costa Coffee - same as all the rest. High street chain serves coffee and pre made sandwiches and biscuits...

Mi esposa y yo paramos para un café y un aperitivo mientras caminando a través de Teddington y quedamos encantados. Personal de costa fue rápido y eficiente y el café & snack estaba buenísimo. Confieso que soy un seguidor de Costa Café y lo único que lamento es que mi tarjeta estaba en mi maleta y no la cartera. Una visita muy buena a una cafetería con un menú que es fácil de seguir y comprender, no importa dónde estés.

I love going into Teddington as all the staff have wonderful customer service, and remember what I order everytime. The shop needs some repairs, but this is not the staff's fault, and does not account for the great baristas.

Living right around the corner, I often have a coffee and snack at our local Costa. The baristas know what they are doing, and the place is clean, cosy and competent. All I need for good cuppa.

Stopped by for some lunch and thoroughly enjoyed a couple of different toasties with smooth cappuccinos. Will be back.

This coffee shop still charges top whack for coffee but just can't get it right. Perhaps team training isn't valued but it's so frustrating to go to a specialist coffee house and be served a luke warm, overly milky coffee that could be made at home in a microwave. Flat whites have a velvet topping, are small and reasonably strong, not a luke warm milkshake. Consistently a massive dissapointment.

In fact no customer service at all. Cafe floor is dirty at time, staffs seems fed up with what they do. Can't honestly comment of the beverage as it is pretty universal. This specific branch is crying for a proper overhaul! Needs new management and staff training

Costa Coffee has by far the best coffee in and around Teddington and has a nice busy friendly atmosphere .it is very well positioned in the centre of Bridge Street and offers a good place to relax from a shopping trip.

I find costa to be overpriced with poor service and the teddington branch is no exception to the rule here. Slow service and disinterested staff make for a poor experience. Spend your money elsewhere.

Came in today to get a coffee. Stood waiting to place an order. Young lady behind the counter was texting on her iPhone and didn't notice she had customers. Young man was also behind the counter and no acknowledgement from him either. I waited two minutes and walked out and went to another coffee shop. Costa obviously don't need my business.

I ordered 3 tuna and cheese Panini's, when they arrived at our table, they were luke warm and not very nice. I spoke to the lady at the till and she said she would reheat them, I didn't feel this was right was reheating fish is NONO! I asked if she would replace them and got a firm NO!, we can only reheat them. I then asked for money back but she could not put this back on my card and had to pay back cash. I have also been in contact with head office, who wrote back with a nice apology. Staff at this Costa in Teddington were not helpful and argumentative.

Right on the Main Street with panoramic windows allowing you to watch the pedestrians traffic passing by.Right opposite the bus stop this is an ideal and comfortable meeting spot.Great service - typical Costa but just as that extra.

Usually have no complaints about Costa or this branch, and to be fair the coffee and fruit tea were just as we expected. However I was disappointed by the attitude of the manager. Having queued to place the order, we were waiting for the drinks to be finished so I decided to go and sit at the last remaining tiny table while my husband brought the drinks over. The table was piled with dirty cups, plates and a teapot so I made about 3 trips back to the counter with it all so that it was clear for us. On my final trip with dirty stuff, the manager just said to me 'Don't put it there, put it there' and pointed to the unit were the sugar and napkins were. Not a word of apology that I'd had to clear the table myself. Not impressed.

Although it's big and there's plenty of seating it seems to have lost something. Staff were OK, but didn't seem that happy.

Staff are far too busy chatting in Italian to their colleagues and their friends who pop in to hang around the counter like it's an office water cooler. Sort it out.

Having been traveling all day without a chance to have a break for a drink I stopped off on my way home (Tuesday 6 May 2014 at 17.35hrs) at Costa Coffee (Store Number 430 24685) Teddington High Street, TW11 8QZ. I had hoped to sit quietly and relax with my coffee after a fairly hectic day. Instead a young lady with a vacuum cleaner appeared and proceeded to give the carpets a thorough cleaning - leaving the vacuum cleaner stationary in the middle of the area where I was seated and going around the tables with the long vacuum hose. This resulted in hot dusty air from the vacuum cleaner motor being blasted in my direction whilst she completed this work. The vacuuming completed she packed it away and departed. I settled down again but before I knew what was happening she reappeared and started to spray the tables - starting with the one next to mine - with a pink liquid substance which she then wiped off with a cloth.After completing the cleaning of the tables she disappeared again until I heard her approaching from the rear corridor area - she appeared with a long handled broom which she was knocking against the skirtings / woodwork etc. as she swept the floor coverings in the main walkway.The store was busy and it was well before closing time - surely some consideration should be given to avoid customers having to put up with dust and spray cleaning fluids contaminating the air whilst they are eating / drinking in the establishment - I believe that all major cleaning works should be carried out after the store has closed for business. I usually enjoy Costa Coffee but will certainly not be returning to this particular store.
