Costa Coffee in East Staffordshire

Went to get a TGTG bag, staff always pleasant and friendly. Delish food.

I am giving one star. It was the most expensive coffee in my life came with friend for a coffee and we were chatting so didn’t even realise the parking is for 90 minutes had to pay for parking £60 cause I stayed 100 minutes not 90 if coming to work on the project don’t if it will take you more then 90 minutes.

Amazing drive thru for breakfast. Fresh coffee with a slice of lemon cake. Friendly and polite staff.

We drive over to Costa and service was poor unfriendly staff, all tables dirty with used cups, sofas and chairs dirty... We payed almost £10 for 2 coffee and ordered some desserts... We enjoyed our company and when we left few days later received a fine of £60... This place service are below zero but charges the highest in town. Not gona go there literally never again.

If you spend too long here (we decided to have a third coffee) you will probably receive a £100 parking fine as we did. The staff didn’t warn us and they could easily have done so. There is a warning sign in the car park but we didn’t see it. Strange way to encourage your customers to come again - we won’t.

Tristan possibly is a candidate for the next Costa barista of the year! Great service but even more impressive was his latte art and chat about it! The cutest bear I've ever seen. So good, i (almost) didn't drink it! Thanks Tristan!

Terrible customer service! I ordered a latte and it lacked espresso taste. I politely asked Daniella who served me for an extra shot. Daniella told me that there would be an additional charge, even though my coffee clearly wasn’t right. I asked Daniella if she could re-make my latte and she refused. I also asked Daniella to make my latte extra hot at a temperature of around 185°F. Daniella refused to do this too, saying that it’s far too hot and would scold my mouth. This was a bare faced lie because I “always” order my latte at this temperature and never had a problem in the past. I’m a regular customer of Costa Coffee and I always order an extra hot latte. Daniella was unhelpful, stubborn and obstructive. Costa Coffee has always been my ‘go to’ coffee shop and this is the first time I’ve ever experienced any issues. The customer service which Daniella provided fell far short of that expected from a coffee chain like Costa Coffee. Daniella clearly needs some training in the area of customer service. The staff at Costa Coffee are usually very helpful and friendly. However unfortunately, members of staff like Daniella are damaging the companies reputation. Although, I will continue to use Costa Coffee, I am now reluctant to return to this store after my experience here.

Nice little Cafe / coffee shop but a bit out of the way . But having a drive through makes it a lot less busy inside and making seating more available.

Fantastic service from a young girl this morning (sorry I didn’t catch her name, but she had lovely freckles & was on the drive-thru). Nothing was too much trouble for her & service with a smile.

Depends on what day you go but most of the staff are rude which ruins it for the lovely ones. Food is stale a lot of the time.

Car park can be a bit busy, choose your times.

Fast service and great coffee, only thing to be careful with is the parking for costa.

Used this Costa Location to work from whilst my car was being serviced. The atmosphere was lovely and perfect for working I'm plug sockets and free WiFi which are brilliant. Definitely will go again!

The worst frappe I have ever had just turned to ice and tasted like water.

Asked for 2 scones. No clotted cream or jam and rock hard, still got charged the full price

Usually good service but recently ordered a medium iced frappe through the app and was given a small one. I went back to the til and was told they don't do mediums anymore, they don't even have medium cups and to get a refund through the app. Still chasing the refund, was disappointed that this was fobbed off as my problem rather than offering to resolve it instore

Staff are always really friendly and efficient. The shop is clean and social distancing measures in place, also hand sanitizer is available at the entrance of the shop for customers to use. All covid guidelines are adhered to and you feel safe. Great service. ✅

Friendly staff on drive thru, unfortunately had to ask for my cake to be changed as out of date by a couple of days, also not offered sugar had to ask before driving off.

Decent Costa, consistently served well made drinks. 4 stars only because the queue can back up quite a bit at rush hours and I have been served pastries which were from the previous day, which I'm not a fan of.

When going through the drive through in the evening, you can not see the menus as it has no lights. I explained when ordering that I couldn't see the menu as they wasn't lit up. The lady working sound annoyed when I was asking what options they had with drinks.

Quick service, but missed some of the small things, like napkins with hot food.

Used the drive through and asked for a latte and hot chocolate for daughter. Coffee was fine but daughter got steamed milk and a marshmallow. Only realised this when back on A38 so couldn't go back and certainly not to queue up again. Apart from that staff friendly and polite probably a bit overworked being it was very busy and only take away.

Try the Terry's chocolate orange hot chocolate with a cheeky double expresso in 👀

Go here very often and usually great but this time the staff werent very friendly and the toilets were very dirty in fact went in 1 and wouldnt use it then 2nd slightly better. The shop wasnt that clean either even though quiet in there. Very disappointed
