Costa Coffee in Ashfield

Used the drive through , ordered a latte , coffee was warm , tasted terrible .

First class,first time able to take dog in.

It’s nice and the staff are friendly, but the cleanliness has gone downhill, even when quiet the tables aren’t cleaned. And just removing trays doesn’t count.

Nice to go see a smile. Have a chat and a great coffee. Lovely now, it has had a refurbishment

Meet a colleague for a coffee and quick meeting, both had drinks and some food. Had a parking ticket come 1 week later!.. shocking that you can park for free but get a ticket if you don’t enter your registration. Neither of us saw the sign and both have had tickets!… Costa this is not a good customer service experience and I will forever avoid using your company again.

This used to be our go to Costa, convenient location, friendly staff and can guarantee well made drinks. Just lately the whole Costa chain has gone down hill, every one we visit has provided a bad experience through either the service or quality. This time was the service. We had a minor issue with the wrong size drink being given, but this was turned into a major issue by one member of staff who was clearly having a bad day. Made me and my husband feel very uncomfortable and stressed. Not the relaxing coffee date we intend it to be. Won't be returning. Will spend my money elsewhere for better Coffee at a better price.

no flavour in the drink at all

If the place is open till 8 it should be serving until then. Showed up before it closed and been refused serving from someone with an attitude. Avoid if you don’t want to be turned away!!

i get this drink on a regular basis and for some reason, it is never the same even tho if I get it in person and it's fine, but delivery is just always off.. this time the flavour was weak and not nearly chocolate and to make it worse I got it unbelded so... i asked for 2x Chocolate Fudge Brownie Frappé Mocha and I got an ice late with cream... not what I wanted!

Usually go here with no issue, went through drive thru ordered two oat milk lattes for allergy reasons, and the milk looked “bitty” and separated when handed to me, I asked about it and the girl on the window said “that’s just oat milk” very abruptly. As someone who only drinks oat milk I was pretty sure it wasn’t, I tried the coffee to be sure and it was off tasting and left a strange taste in my mouth, drove round and went inside and showed a different girl, she agreed they looked odd and made me fresh ones, the original girl didn’t acknowledge me or apologise, just a really uncomfortable experience, made me feel stupid

Coffee is not as good as it when 1st opend a few years ago in London I now avoid and go elsewhere

Visited drive through 3rd May 2024 12:54. Staff completely unaware what I was asking for as they did not know what was on their menu. I had to explain that they are currently advertising the Shawarma wrap. I was then handed my caramel latte with a lid somehow smothered in chocolate sauce. Not sure how that happens when I didn't have anything chocolate based. Good job there were no allergies as that would have been a much more serious situation. Simply clueless, inattentive, unconscientous staff on the window.

Been a few times as perfect location on a38 before m1 to meet with friends as a central point. However I’ve got to say today’s visit (24/4/24) was the best example of why we go there. Despite having an issue with hot water the lovely ladies serving (one was billie-Jo I think I saw on her name tag) were polite friendly and professional in explaining they would have to close early. They made sure everyone was aware why and were careful not to make anyone feel rushed to leave. They’re always so friendly and chatty (we had a good giggle about buying things from Shein online) and the place is always clean and tidy. A great place for a cuppa and cake stop and a good chat with friends… and the Costa staff

Unfortunately, he had been given the wrong address, not far away so food was still on time, but a bit frustrating for us and the driver

Not usually too busy and always manage to find a place to sit. Service is usually quick as well. Not always much choice for vegetarian/vegan though.

I like to stop here for a coffee on my way to work and treat myself on a Friday to a bacon roll. The staff are always pleasant and helpful, trying to make sure you get the best offers and using your app to collect points. I've never had any issues with food or drink from this branch so keep going back.

Only 1 working toilet. Huge queue, very poor and embarrassing to stand there waiting.

Was nice, but a bit too expensive so wouldn't go very often. Only really went to try electric car charger

Lovely staff this is my go to Costa as no other costa does their drinks like these guys. They definitely go up and beyond to help anyone to keep their customers satisfied. Thank you to the farmwell lane costa team. Keep up the good work.

Worst cup of coffee I have ever had, staff not helpful

I have juat been to this Costa , and there were two ladies with head sets on busy behind the counter. I do not mind waiting at all but as I was the only person at the till a quick smile or a ' 2 mins' gesture would have been nice. Two more young people came from the back to talk to the first two ladies and again looked at me but with no acknowledgement. I understand they were busy and I had to wait but a quick snile goes a long way. I left without ordering my coffee and cake. A smile makes everyone's day.

Didn’t arrived had to ask for a refund but stated in the just eat app that it had been delivered

We enjoyed a coffee, a croissant, and two slices of banana bread. Surprisingly, it's one of the finest banana breads I've ever tasted! A special thanks to the staff for warming it up. The team was incredibly friendly and polite. Costa Coffee is a wonderfully cosy coffee shop, making it a fantastic pit stop.

Ordered twice via the app to have my drink brought to my car. Always waited over 15 minutes.

Product nice, staff too busy, whole interior filthy. Stained seats, dirty tables n floor. I’m tall and ended up with a face full of cob Webs. My first experience with costa coffee not good.

What's not to like about Costa? This branch is no exception. Professional staff, courteous and friendly service make for a pleasing experience. I just had a latte, but plenty of others were eating, the staff keeping up with the steady flow of drive through and eat in customers. Highly recommended.

Excellent costa. One of the nicest around. Visited again, still brill. Visited again today 28th may - excellent as always. Here again 27th aug still as good. Nice costa, friendly staff.

Always good service from kind and friendly staff. I've not been in to this one but I can tell you that the drive through is aways on point, quick service and always a great selection of drinks. I love the seasonal Christmas Best some great hot chocolate selections.

Very quick service, however a little too quick as tow cappuccinos came as two black coffees 😞

Good out-of-town Costa coffee, friendly staff and fast service. Free parking and a short drive from the M1. Only complaint was slow wifi and limited phone signal on 3 different networks (O2, Voda & 3), not great for work meetings.

Never crowded in this one. Seating inside & outside. Pleasant staff. Better choices now they sell M&S sandwiches etc. Just take the turning for Pinxton behind the Shell filling station.

Well what can say , rude staff , talking amongst themselves and not listening to orders been taken , got our order wrong today and yesterday was no better but the thing that got me the most was manners cost nothing !!!

Good coffee , service a bit slow and needs a good clean

Very friendly staff, clean facilities, fixings & fittings aesthetically pleasing.......but, when asked if the music could be turned down (not a lot of people in so the music seemed louder than normal), they said that they aren't able to turn it down. If, at the end of shift, you can turn the music off, you should be able to turn it down. You can in most pubs (I used to work in one), why should this audio equipment be any different?

Staff helpful. Brought my own mug and wouldn't let me take it without the lid to prevent burns - a welcome surprise and more coffee shops should be like that.

Not a particularly vegetarian friendly sandwich selection in this branch, but my cheese and tomato toastie and double espresso were delicious, served in a friendly and pleasant fashion. Nice.

Great coffee need slight improvement on customer service

Always great service from this Costa, staff are lovely and the drinks always spot on (we are fussy). Drive Thru is quick and easy and the store is always clean. Also for those drivers who dump there rubbish out the window, even if a bin is available, staff are quick to clean it up.

Rude staff. OK I was slightly indecisive about which smoothy I wanted, went for the Berry's then changed my mind employee just snapped at me. Then to find out they don't accept Blue Light Card at this outlet.."Managers discretion" apparently. Should be ashamed of themselves for that alone !!

Love the coffee but over priced unless there’s deals on.

Lovely service. Staff are knowledgeable of the drinks that is available. Was recommended for a drink, Ruby hot chocolate (maybe with more cream) and loved it very much.

Still no vegan cookies so lost a star, although there was vegan cake which is a bit too chocolatey for me and not good for the waistline.

Customer service is great at this one especially a new lady Clare. She offers and recommends rather than just "taking my order" well done!
