Costa Coffee in Wiltshire

Waited with no one in front of me for 3 members of staff to have a chat about dogs for an unacceptable amount of time before someone even acknowledged me let alone took my order. Out of the 3 only one of them was actually working..customer service skills nil

Had a really uncomfortable experience yesterday. We ordered, and I took my partner to a table in their wheelchair while we waited for drinks. I needed the toilet (I have Crohn's) and discovered the toilets are locked with a keypad, so I had to return to the counter to ask for access. They said the code is on the receipt, but I said I couldn't read it. So they told me the code. I asked which toilet it was for, and they said the regular one. I couldn't get the code to work, so returned to the counter, and had to say that I was a disabled person (I was wearing my sunflower lanyard) and that I needed them to open the toilet for me now as the code wouldn't work. All in front of a queue of people. Having felt overwhelmed by this experience we had to get takeaway cups and leave. Costa: please think again about your disability accessibility at this branch.

Cakes are crazzzy small now and more money! Everything else is fantastic.

Only 2 staff on, the woman was too busy making my partner feel uncomfortable by being over friendly, to the point he got up to stand next to me and the lad was clearly new and not being supervised. I ordered 4 different drinks of which the woman fed some rubbish about not having to label lattes anymore... so how are you supposed to know which is which straight away??? The quality of the drinks were the worst we have ever had in Costa. The frappe was runny and tasteless and the lattes stone cold after a less than 5 minute drive.... not what I expect from Costa and the cost of drinks in there now. Will never go there again. Sort out your staff training COSTA

Staff are so slow. I was cueing for like 15 mins. Wont be coming back

Served by a really polite pretty girl with amazing afro hair. Coffee could do with being hotter but Costa coffee is always the same.

Turned up 36 minutes after opening time and they were still closed

Books avaliable for reading. If you plan on staying in there long enough, to actually read a whole book

Overall a good Costa coffee only thing that let's it down when I attended was the seats and tables were a bit grubby and the sofa was stained. Otherwise good service, friendly staff and clean preparation of the food.

Had a cake here once on my birthday and it tasted old and stale however if you go for the drink it taste amazing and the service there is amazing and they are so nice! If you eat in the tables arnt always clean but they will be fine

Coffee was good. I asked for extra hot but did not get it 😒. Place desperately needs a makeover. The last time I saw chairs like these was in the 70s 🤣🤣 Just Saying 😉 This got be on the list for an upgrade.

I've been here twice now, the first occasion on my own was pretty busy but was still served and handed my drinks within a reasonable time considering the length of queue. Second was slightly quieter with my kids who loved having a staff member engage in conversation with them which doesn't happen in many places I find. Staff were on it when it came to cleaning and the different areas to work on when serving. Makes a difference when there's welcoming staff.

Excellent place to go for coffee, have been there alot myself and the staff couldn't do enough for you, very helpful and polite and friendly, nothing is ever too much to ask

Usual Costa outlet but a little disappointed that there were no savoury bites available when we visited☹️

A great place to go with lots of seating. Staff usually run off their feet so it can be crazy busy in there so provided you have time then it’s worth the wait. It is a standard Costa coffee shop But the staff do make the difference.

there cold frappuccinos are so cool and nice but three coffee is bitter and flavorless not very good. staff are nice

The staff are so friendly and always make everyone feel welcome. The food and cakes are delicious, drinks are brilliant and it's a cozy environment. They even allow my assistant dog in, which I am immensely grateful for

I occasionally come to costa and though I miss the previous decor of their interior (it felt more welcoming) they have a good atmosphere for people who are on the go, working or in small groups. I think my favourite thing about Costa is their staff and how friendly they are but also consider your comfort and safety seriously. Awhile ago last year I had an older man come up to me in the store to ask if I was here with my mother (I am a young adult, but I do look young) and I said no, not giving my age and he proceeded to hit on me when he realised I came alone..again assuming I was young enough to come with a parent? Very concerning and I was in shock. When the old man left to go back to his seat, I went up to the counter and told the manager what happened and the creepy old man was quickly banned from the shop and I was given a free drink to calm down with and they ensured I was safe and even offered to have a staff member partially walk me back. Costa staff really helped with my lack of faith in humanity over the pandemic. Honourable mention to the one sweet lady who always compliments me and my friends on our fashion choices, the staff are so sweet and have made my costa experiences amazing.

Fast and friendly, good coffee and great prices.

Coffee made the way I asked and sat in clean and tidy branch. Staff super friendly and chatty too, which always make such a difference after a rubbish day at work.

Staff was great on my 1st impression seem to be very bubbly and ful of joy. This would be a great atmosphere to work in if only everyone was like that in hospitality.

Very disappointed with the service staff in this Costa in Chippenham town centre a gentleman called Luke and another lady that was working with him found them very rude and we were sitting on the chairs outside and then they decided to come and movers before we could even order from the Costa saying that he must move if you’re not ordering but they hadn’t give us time to even consider what we wanted we Dhoni just got there we was waiting for friends overall very poor behaviour from the staff

Friendly service and excellent covid preventative measures made our visit an enjoyable one. We shared a piece of cake - I asked for two forks - and the server provided two plates as well which is logical but doesn't always happen, in my experience.

Usual coffee and service, generally I find the coffee very strong.

This is an ok coffee shop one of the oldest in town as there are a few around. staff is fairly good also.

Great staff. Consistent products which never vary. A great shame that Whitbread chose to sell this gem of a brand off to Coca Cola.

I had a good cup of coffee and a tastey snack. Service was quick and I rested and watched the other weiry shoppers pass by from my nice warm window seat.

Costa is probably one of the least comfortable coffee places in Chippenham in my opinion. It all feels a bit cramped. The staff were approachable though which does make a difference. As with the chain as a whole, the coffee is ok but it's also over priced.

Nice clean, cool atmosphere lovely ladies who serve nice and polite but it's had a recent decor change which is lovely but I carnt tell the difference from ws it was like before.
