Really gone downhill lately. Customer service is pretty much non existent with some staff. Shame some staff left because it was run really well before. Won’t be using anymore.

Had to wait while the staff chatted about their social lives. No real customer service. Only visit if you enjoy queuing and waiting to be served.

Martyn was serving myself and a person with a complex physical disability and a communicatio aid today. He was very helpful and allowed time for him to speak. We appreciated it hugely! Thankyou!

Disappointed by the coffee made at this costa. Ordered a flat white but came out as just a basic coffee half full and ordered a skimmed cappuccino which was made with whole milk instead. Both had to be taken back and redone… still wasn’t as nice as other Costa coffee shops in the area

If you're having a bad day then you 'better have a Costa' served by King of Natter and Chatter himself -- the indomitably happy host of this establishment who goes by the name of Martyn.

We've had a lovely lunch here good food and great staff - Evie was so kind and helpful as I'm vegetarian and only like weak coffee. Then Martyn was so cheerful and chatty as he made the drinks. A+++++++ great job guys!

Great place for coffee. Friendly and helpful staff, let down only by the frequent failure of the computer at the pay desk.

Nothing worse than visiting an open 24hr mc donalds to find it closed ... annoying for people who have a planned route. Nothing to stop them updating on a 24hr basis to let people know where they stand ...

Lovely food, can recommend the prawn and smoked salmon sandwich, loads of filling. We ate inside with the gorgeous sea view. We will be returning when in the area again

It's a pretty standard coffee shop, nothing particularly remarkable about it but the staff are reasonably friendly and service is usually fast. However it is very busy and noisy! I've always enjoyed the drinks here, although the coffee is pretty average and you can definitely get better tasting drinks elsewhere. Whenever I've sat in though, there has been a constant stream of people that come in just to use the toilet and then walk out leaving the door open (and sometimes shaking their wet hands all over the place), so there is a bit of a smell. It's not really the fault of the store but it is off-putting.

The 3 July was their last night in Beefeater as we know it. I’ve been a fan of Beefeater for 50 years from child to adult and its phasing out is rather sad. We came 9 days ago for a birthday meal that was great and tonight I came to say goodbye to staff. Great food and service under conditions which Whitbread PLC should be wincing at. Staff numbers and menu run to minimum only to replace by a poor stable mate in the future, I assume for residents only. Wish them all well and the duty manager on my last two visits was really great - lovely character and hope she goes on to excel in hotel/hospitality/tourism and leisure. A great night for me - in the end of what’s left of Beefeater Grandstand.
