Great food helpful staff clean and tidy

Great to just get to sit with your coffee and not be harassed by staff to leave.

I made an online order this morning It was never delivered and the person who spoke with me told me since there is just 1 item you need talk to the delivery people or else you are getting one thing She said they are not responsible but my order was from costa coffee its a shame how people get to be treated There was someone who said is on day off his name is Jack He said to me I will push you out You are not getting your food just wasting our time In front of the manager and no action was taken I spend my day with such terrible words from the manager and stuff my money was gone to them not given back l would have gone somewhere to buy food and not spend the day hungry I was working in Hoddesdon and that was my spending money i had to wait and drive back home on an empty stomach after 5:20pm I wish the stuff and manager at hoddesdon high street costa coffee well with handling customers like myself you made me starve what a good day I paid the money and didn’t get my food Bless you the manager who chased me like a dog they wanted me to behave like an animal to get my food or refund but i behaved myself as a human being and spent my day hungry

Service was not great. Staff more interested in their own conversation. Customer toilet was not very clean

I walked into Costa a bit down but Maisie and Kat were both able to lighten up the mood with their brilliant service. Hence, I will not hesitate to pay a visit to this Hoddesdon Costa next to Morrison whenever I’m in the area!

It's a Costa coffee. You get what you would expect of the chain in terms of product. The service is efficient and friendly.

Good coffee, average food, lots of precooked stuff, they have an outside seating area, but not somewhere you can really relax, shame they don't allow pets inside like many of the other coffee shops in town.

Not as clean or friendly as when I have been before

Staff seriously need to work on their hygiene here. Twice now I’ve been here we’re two different staff members have either coughed or sneezed into their hands and continued to make my order without washing their hands. I have had to ask them to wash their hands and start again. The toilets are disgusting too

If you've ever been to a Costa, that's about the full experience, if you've been to one, you've been to them all. With modern technology, it's a wonder someone hasn't devised a method of serving coffee more quickly. There are 4 of us who "coffee" ,by the time No. 4 has got theirs . No. 1 cup is cold. This is not confined to Costa. So if you're not in a hurry you'll be fine. There are coffee houses with better tasting coffee , and cheaper . Take your pick

Went in to redeem my frappe voucher to day,,the staff were so helpful I was actually amazed the young lady that served me greeted me with a smile which is so unusual now days. The shop was extremely busy but the tables were cleared and cleaned as soon as they became vacant. Full marks to the manageress Fatima and her staff. This is the only coffee shop I will be using from on THANK YOU Costa team in Hoddesdon

Service is always great and all the staff are lovely. The coffees perfect every time I go in there and the shop is always looking very clean. Keep up the good work girls

great service, all staff were really lovely and my coffee was delish, would definately recommend!

I now know why I NEVER go into this one. Service was the worst ever. We were left standing waiting for 2 drinks for over 20mins, others after us were receiving their drinks. When I said I wanted a refund, we had to wait another 10mins because NO ONE working there knew how to give one. The woman serving had to video call her manager to ask how to do it. The long line of people alongside us were shaking their heads in frustration. Eventually we got a refund. It's safe to say I will NEVER give this branch business.

I have had nice coffee in here before but this time I had hot chocolate it was to sweet and half of cup my daughter had a ice drink and said it was not nice and behind the counter looked like mess I like Costa coffee but was very disappointed sorry to say

Nice to be in an air-conditioned cafe having a coffee..and nice to see the use of proper cups and saucers....not like Watford Gap services still using takeaway cups....

Decent selection of drinks. Have rarely got the wrong milk type.

Standard Costa, during lockdown the takeaway service was extremely slow. I had hoped that that now in store dining is allowed the service would improve. Today the staff were friendly and met with a smile, it goes a long way. The service was quicker but still nothing to write home about.

Coffee with a smile. You know what you're getting; coffee and snacks. 3 (masked) customers allowed inside at a time at the moment. Big screen up in front of the till and food. 2 small tables for 2 (max) outside. Hopefully back to normal soon.

The staff in the Hoddesdon shop are always so nice & friendly. I have been going to this costa since it first opened and the staff have always been lovely. The store is always clean & tidy.

First you are not allowed to ask your customers to leave because they won’t wear mask. You have to ask if your customer if he it mask exempted. This is discrimination and it’s against law. P.S. Walking in the shop one of the worker did not had a musk !

Always a good place to visit and rest

The best coffee shop I’ve every been to, but then if anyone can run a coffee shop well it’s the great team of Kat, Tanya, Phil, Jo, Miki and Izzy. They service me regularly and they’re always so thorough, going above and beyond even when I have specific needs of them. I mean wow, I could hardly walk due to their ability to make me feel special. If you come here, be sure to tip well as they’ll be more than worth it

Very friendly experienced staff, they have a great laugh with all there customers which makes a big difference and most importantly my flat white is always made to perfection.

I bought 2 small lattes for take away and requested an extra shot in both the orders and of course I was charged for the extra shots. While the lady was preparing my coffees I quickly went to the bathroom. Came back to the cashier and picked up my coffees. Got into my car and went to my meeting. As soon as I took the first sip I knew straight away they had put only one shot. This was the case for the second cup too. Being a regular coffee drinker I can tell when theres one shot as my wife drinks one shot lattes. I have been drinking 3 shot lattes from Costa Coffee very regularly and for several years and never have I had this problem. Very disappointed in the laziness of the staff at this particular Costa Coffee.

I got my coffee today, as I picked up the cup the lid came off and the extremely hot contents spilt on my hand and burnt it not very happy
