If staff spend less time chatting on headsets in morning maybe they would be ready in time for opening. The place needs better management as I spend enough money their.

Outside was absolutely disgusting bin overflowing cups and food all over the floor tables and chairs strewn all over the place lovely day for being out side but the patio was disgusting

Good location, plenty of free parking, drive through available too. It's a nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly and polite. Good range of food and Wheelchair accessible too.

Great place to have your morning coffee

It's a good place to go if your staying in the Premier Inn hotel next door. Went here for a breakfast roll and coffee's. Half the price of the Premier Inn. Comfortable enough, good coffee.

Busy drive through costa. But fast service and drinks as expected

Costa is always good does good food and my dogs love the puppachino that they do. Staff are super friendly and always love to see the dogs. If you are going to park there remember maximum stay in car park is 90 minutes I believe therefore if you are meeting friends here there are plenty of other places you can park around there

I did love going there service is good, but I've had a parking ticket for £100 I met a friend was there 1hr45min its absolutely ridiculous to get charged for this I have appealed I cannot afford this and its mad me ill, my friend payed on her card so i have no proof and can't get hold of anyone on the phone

Very noisy, had a bacon roll, the bacon was very thin and tasteless. This is the second time I've visited this premises and will definitely be the last.

Really disappointed with my last hot chocolate, ordered through the drive way. I called into Costa on 23 December, after I finished my shopping. I had 1 free drink on my card. I ordered in the drive through. I was so disappointed that the drink I had was lukewarm and tasteless. The chocolate had no taste. I took it back, and they gave me another tasteless hot chocolate, this time the drink was hot. Still tasteless. I did tell the girl it was tasteless and she just didn't listen......

This place is awful. The tables are rarely cleared. The WiFi hasn’t worked for at least a year and the coffee is very weak. The only thing going for it is the parking and now you have to register your vehicle to avoid a charge. I hope someone from Costa is reading this because there is no effective management in this outlet.

Exceptional service and food quality

Used drive through far too noisy to hear what's being said when trying to place an order I ordered a white American but ended up being served an iced black coffee

My favourite Costa, good service don't forget to put your car reg into the machine if eating in. Drive through is always quick, WiFi not great is the only downside but get to have coffee and a natter in peace away from your mobile!!!

Costa was fine parking ticket for a £100 was not won't be going back

Hi I’m trying to contact the owner. I had a great coffee with a friend and stayed for 1hr 45mins but I didn’t realize there was a limit apparently but now I’m learning there’s a machine by the till you have to sign into for longer parking. I wasn’t told this and I just received a £100 fine. Please can you cancel this I want to visit costa again but this will definitely put me off. Parking ticket ref: 307141/927966 I can remove this post after. Thanks It’s was very early in the morning the barista was super smiley and welcoming but she should of warned me. There were only 5 or 6 people in there

Far too expensive for the quality and couldn't believe I was charged ,£2.05 for a bottle of Sprite what rip off.

I love this Costa's, but no WiFi for months and no service on phones, so going to McDonalds until they fix it.

So since my last review I have complained on numerous occasions about the lack of Wi-Fi here and guess what? Jack all has been done about it. July 2022 was the 1st Wi-Fi complaint now it is October 2023 and we get a sign stating no Wi-Fi. Well kiss goodbye to my small meetings in this area now. Any customer that feels Costa is value for money is deluding themselves. No Wi-Fi for people on business routes. What a joke. Earlier review - Please don't get me wrong. I come here quite often with my wife but come on Costa sort out the dirty tables, trays, left all over the place. Why do we the customers have to clean, remove and hand over dirty plates, cups and trays.

Popped in for a cuppa and a millionaire slice to go. Long queue waiting for drinks but as I was taking it out I got my cuppa without delay.

We popped into this Costa for the first time on a Tuesday afternoon and enjoyed a nice hot drink here. There were plenty of parking spaces available outside and the coffee shop itself was fairly quiet (but the drive thru seemed quite busy). The prices are comparable with other similar coffee shops and the drinks were made fairly quickly and tasted delicious. There was a bit of a wait to get served at the till but the staff member I spoke to was very friendly and apologised for the wait. We ordered our usually decaf cappuccino and hot chocolate and were very happy with our drinks.

The best Costa in Wales. The staff are extremely friendly, polite and efficient. Will definitely call again.

I met an old friend at 6.30pm for a catch up. The cafe closes at 9pm. On entry part of the area was closed off with chairs placed at the exit of the counter making you walk back past the queue. There were also chairs placed on some tables limiting the choice of seats. We assumed there was a staff shortage as one of the barristas started cleaning the floor about 7.30 even though there were more customers coming in. We were served quickly and pleasantly but were concerned by the lack of staffing

How can it take somewhere like Costa, so long to fix the WiFi & toilets?

Same as other reviews, they often close before the time shown online and on the front of the door, which is frustrating. Not sure why but I've gone there before closing time at least 3/4 times now and they've already stopped serving. Aside from that, service is always friendly and it's a Costa, so decent food/drinks at a big price!

The price that I was charged for coffee was different to the board display price They told me the board had not been changed as the coffee has increased on price

The drive thru is the best part. For sitting in can sometimes be hit and miss.

I give this amount of stars due to the Forest cafe in Tongwynlais a disappointment. Overpriced for what you get. Which is poor to boot!! If we look at a tomato you will get one 5th of a slice. 9 piece's of crisps poor looking lettuce, sorry that would be 7 very small to say the least. The tables had not been cleaned under the tables had not been cleaned. The best part was looking at Xmas paintings on the windows..........and it's July??? The entire place needs a complete refurb, clean and look at how the presentation is being shown. Expand the kitchen layout. This is not to be negative but to constructive in what has been shown. If you want people to come then show a little more enthusiasm when speaking to customers. Having younger staff created lower pay which gives less enthusiasm from staff. Poor to say the least. Quite simply tidy up inside before you open. Clean the windows clean the floors. I have been to enough cabins which sell food and drinks to know what it should look like. Rustic but tidy. Presentation of food not one tomato equals 5 separate plates. Please wake up and put some effort into your establishment. I would like to come back.

Lovely customer service weather you are going through the drive through or sitting in. I've never had an issue and I'm always served with a smile. I always use my Costa card also

I'd say the prices are a bit high(especially for a single flapjack..) it was pretty loud inside, couldn't really talk to my friend, however the iced frappé's are much better than anywhere else. Can dine in and take out so thats a +. Was served really fast aswell.

Friendly Costa cafe. Seats weren't as comfortable as they could be, certainly didn't encourage you to linger. Coffee was good and the M&S food is an added bonus. Lack of WiFi was a disappointment as the phone signal isn't good in that location. No excuse for it to be out for any length of time really.

There is poor data signal and no WiFi, so if you have rewards to use, get them ready on the app before you go into the shop.

Closed the cafe at 20:30 on both occasions and forgot the mini chocolates with the hot chocolate. A staff member agreed with another staff member in front of me twice. Let's shut up and they have to have them as a take out drink.

Go here regularly, I love the Chai latte with a shot. Phone reception is not very good inside and would benefit from WIFI.

5 or 6 people working there and not 1 is clearing the tables. Every table is full of dirty dishes. Had to clean the table myself before sitting down. Stinking in there.

This is my least favourite Costa around. The queue takes ages (10-15 mins), the tables are left dirty and full of empty cups from previous customers, and there is a massive problem with flies. In need of a deep clean and some staff training.

Dirty costa coffee See below- the fly infested dirty couch of costa coffee. The table was equally as filthy. WiFi not working and average coffee. Had to leave after a few mins as was feeling sick being there.

Constantly changing opening times and displaying wrong times on the door. No prioritising decent WiFi despite being on a mobile Internet blackspot.

On a Saturday, the time on the door says closing at 21h00. I walk in at 20h05 having had a long drive from France then across the UK. I'm staying at the Premier Inn next door. Young man says takeaway only. No problem, happy to do that. Stroppy young lady shouts "we're closed". Excuse me? "We're closed". But your colleague said takeaway, it is currently 20h05, your door says 21h00. "That is drive through only". Fine, I will walk through the drive through. "That is cars only". Really? Sick of a teenager copping an attitude (I can get that at home), I left. Tempted to drive back through in my car and see what is the objection now. But alternative outlets from other companies are available. Teenagers would do well to learn that their attitude directly affects custom. Frankly, I would not hire the young lady for my business as that is not the face I present to my customers. Just a modicum of politeness would not have hurt. Excuse me sir, we're closed but essentially telling me to clear off doesn't cut it. Shame because Costa's product is pretty good - HR needs to look at procedures. Also, decide what are your opening hours and communicate that to staff. Perhaps related to teenage angst, the Costa website has a broken link to their customer contact form. Kind of sums them up, doesn't it. They know they can get away with it.

Very Slow service, staff standing chatting ignoring the queue. Ordered a croissant, hard and stale. Really disappointing.

Absolutely filthy. Tables were sticky & hadn't been washed. Hoards of flies landing on us and the toilet floor looked as though it hadn't seen a floor mop in years, walked out in disgust. Health & Safety issues.

I get a large latte everyday £2.85 but today price have jumped up to £3.10 🤔 when I asked why they have not advertised the price rise, I was told because they can!!

Says open til 9pm Turn up at 8:24pm to be told because it wasnt busy it's shut and they're cleaning. We walked over and was told we could use the drive thru. Cheers for that. The blonde boy was lovely and said he'd ask the manager but she refused. Never again. Lovely customer service.

The place was clean, and well kept, but I ended up waiting over 5 minutes for a coffee at the counter. This was at 8pm so the shop was quiet. If it was a complicated coffee, I'd understand, but it was just a cappuccino. Still nice coffee though.

Very polite workers (though clearly understaffed!) I was served by a friendly staff member (Hannah or Hayley, I’m terrible with names) who helped me pick something that I’d not had before which will now be my go to drink! Excellent service, I’ll definitely return!

Clearly understaffed (staff off due to Covid). In general they did really well, trying to keep tables clear. One member of staff think her name was Hannah needs to learn to smile at customers though, it doesn't cost anything.

There was no lactose free milk. They said that it is due to supplier problems however this is the third time in as many months that this has happened. Also, the barista was not too happy to serve us and his collegaues were larking about behind the counter as they walked away to make him serve. Not impressed with this costa.
