The one male batista here either works on eastenders as Martin Fowler or he's a very good lookalike 🤣🤣🤣

Very busy place but a good atmosphere. Was clean and tidy despite being busy. Not too long to wait for food, either.

We had breakfast perfect eggs benedict

Good coffee, but it's getting expensive! The food is also expensive and nothing like the appetising pictures of their bits and bobs on the TV screens.

Nice coffee, good service, no gluten-free food. The takeaway is not always as hot as it should be.

I’m not happy on my visit today . Since when has Costa had a rule to ‘find a table first’ I always thought policy in most self serve places was order food then find a table . I waited in the queue to then be told to leave the queue and put my coat on table and then re queue. If I had someone with me it would have been less off an issue I guess , but still a rather odd request. Most disappointed and I’m a regular Costa customer as I generally enjoy the service and food . Instead I bought my own food in Tesco today saved my money !

Lovely Costa shop. Place was clean evwrytime I visited and service always flawless.

It was a Costa, so you knew what you were getting. I miss the mushroom and Emmenthal Toasties! Also there was a massive advert for Rolo Hot Chocolate, but they didn't have any left. She did apologise, and I had a normal hot choc, but they couldn't turn the advert off! I loved the Millionaire Shortbread.

We had a Smoked Bacon Bap. That wasn't really very good. I'm sorry to say. The Staff serving were very happy and professional. The Coffee ☕ we had was good as usual. Thank You.👍👍☕☕

Popped in for a quick snack for lunch today. Wanted something different to drink & asked the lovely lady Rebecca who served us what was in a certain new drink. It was the new Mango Frappe. She took the time to explain exactly what was in it. Such a pleasant, friendly helpful lady. Loved the drink

Always tempted to go in for a coffee. Friendly staff. Always a good selection of nice things to eat.

It's Costa. It's the same everywhere you go, surely? However, my father goes here so regularly the servers know my father's order off by heart. So, that's nice.

Loved the cheese toastie, on what was a very cold and rainy day...yum!

Hidden but large area. Very quick service and pleasant staff.

Lousy service, no manners serving a coffee without oat milk which they had run out of and which was on the shelves in the store and an egg and spinach burger dumped on the table, no word said, no knife, no serviette! Really!

Disappointed only hot food was bacon and sausage baps, for the size of the store should be a better place to eat. Costa coffee!!?

After the weekly big shop we always grab a quick drink here, nothing bad to say about the staff who are always very welcoming and friendly (if a little over worked considering the amount of footfall they have)... It's fairly standard as you'd expect, always a queue but again I guess its not too much of a wait, but perhaps a few more staff members would solve this after the generally pretty busy /stressful big shop

Rude member of staff monday morning no clear signage for app ordered collections and spilt the coffee all over the tops, totally in appropriate attitude.

Disappointing sandwich, mediocre coffee and crisps for nearly £6. Same crisps in Tesco's for a third of the price. Quite a mark up considering the Tesco's ones are 30 yards away in the same building. More fool me but not a mistake I'll make twice.

Always brilliant service and coffee here. The staff are amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and have been extremely vigilant during the pandemic with the social distancing and the cleanliness of the whole area is perfect. The best Costa in the area

The staff were brilliant and were doing their best to follow current government guidelines on social distancing. Shame, however, on the elderly couple who were told that there would be a short wait for a table to become available. They tutted, marched past the staff member and sat at a table that had a sign saying it was not to be used due to social distancing rules. They even sat on top of the signs attached to the seats and completely ignored the young lady telling them the table was not to be used! The problem does not exclusively lie with just students and the young it seems! Not your fault at all Costa, your staff were brilliant and tried their best and my guest and I had a lovely visit!

Poor service and surrounding areas in cafe look like Joes greasy cafe.

Got told off and shouted out because I went the wrong way, although it is not clearly signposted. I went through the Tesco’s entrance. The staff were standing round talking to each other and saw me coming and then shouted at me to go round the other way. Then tried to pay by cash once again got told off very abruptly but it is card only. I appreciate we’re all learning new ways of working during this pandemic but they could be a little bit nicer to the customers.

I dunno. There is kind of disconnect between staff and customers in these kinds of places. Nothing personal. Staff were fine.

Popped in for a quick drink about 11.50am. Watched people come in for an early lunch but the shelves were nearly empty, saw some people walk back out as there just want any choice, you expect empty shelves late lunch time, not before.

Before Christmas, and it had a lovely Christmas Spirit in the entrance.

Rude women working there on my visit today at first they got my order wrong them when I asked for some cream on my hot chocolate they got in a mood and tipped most my hot chocolate out to and put some cream on, was messy when she gave me it. Normally when I come there polite and have no issues but new staff today! No apology just rudeness
