I’ve Had to go back around the drive through multiple times in the past because of the barister Chloe never making my drinks right, always seems in a rush , never full to the top always lacking taste and too frothy when I often order a latte coffee which should be slightly frothy. Major inconvenience for me having to come back around when I pay enough money to have my drink made right the first time. Train staff to be better!

The ginger haired barista with the piercings never fails to make a terrible drink! Eveytime I Recieve a drink from her, it is burnt and tastes horrible. :(

BEWARE!!!! Just learnt that parking fines have been issued to me and a friend for being at Costa for just over an hour. No signage visible on site to state time limits to park. I am disgusted, and also reading reviews on here that this has happened to many other customers. Costa - disgraceful conduct at this site, sort it out. !!!!

Got a parking fine while having coffee, there are no obvious signage or warnings and no staff member asked for my car reg to sign me in, will never go back there

We went there for a coffee and cake on boxing day. The service and food was OK but it was very cold there no matter where you sat the air conditioning was blowing on you very cold air I did ask one of the women assistants if she could please turn it off as it it was making our coffee and ourselves very cold but it was not seen to whick made the whole experience very unpleasant we drank our cold coffee and left ASAP .

Well as a regular customer of Costa in birch grove Swansea ! I was appalled by the manner of some (not all of the drive through staff) when I attended on the 26/12/24 @ 3.30pm ! Really not helpful and definitely could work on their customer service skills!

BEWARE!!!! £170 PARKING FINES even if you are a paying customer! Costa couldn’t care less about this and are happy for their customers to be fined. Service, food and atmosphere not worth risk of £170 fine. Have been a regular customer of Costa but will now AVOID!

States it closes at 7. Arrived by 25 past 6, doors were open and staff there but told us they were closed

It's a Costa so you should know what to expect. Place is clean and it serves coffee.

First time here and the variety of cakes etc was vast and in good amounts. We ordered a Latte and Hot Chocolate which were lovely but didn't have cakes or food so can't comment on those.

This place is absolutely disgusting! Costa should be ashamed with themselves with what they’re putting my disabled partner through. 3 letters from bailiffs for £170 EACH due to ‘unpaid parking charges’ for parking there for a hour. No prior parking notices, no warnings, nothing in the post or on the car to indicate she’d received a ticket until bailiffs chasing her around. Just a way for Costa to scam money off of vulnerable people. Been loyal customers to Costa for decades, will be boycotting from now on.

Be warned there is an absolute muppet of a barrister called Jack working here that serves scolding hot drinks for children - I know because a babychino for my child was so hot, the top of the cup crippled in my grasp and went all over me. Absolute moron serving drinks that hot which are meant for small children!

It's as expected for a Costa, very busy (not an atmosphere I personally like) and lots of passing trade. Enjoyable sat outside in the sun with a caramel frap but for someone that doesn't regularly call into Costa, I felt a little rushed to order and overwhelmed by the menus, didn't quite get what I wanted. Was an ok experience overall and would possibly call again on passing. Service was great, I thought the setup was efficient.

Large drink, half full. Not impressed. This is supposed to be a large cappuccino with whipped cream on top.

Service can be slow as the staff are serving both customers in the shop and those at the drive through.

Second time here in a week, both times most tables were piled up with dirty plates and cups. Ask staff to clean table for us and get roll of the eyes! Terrible service, won’t be back!

Dropped in for a quick tea and coffee. Was tempted by a BLT sandwich and a toffee apple flan. Both were very nice and full of taste. Would recommend for a quick hot drink and a small bite.

This is the third time I have been served MEAT when asked for the MEAT FREE variant of the meal for my girlfriend! Just gotten home and had to put a delivery order straight through hopefully they deliver the right ones if they cannot even do it in store. Disgusting service

Unfortunately, there were only 4 in front of me, but the wait was aweful. Five members of staff working so why did it take over 25 mins? I experienced extremely slow service. Managed to just get served for the bfast deal ended at 11am. But then the bacon in the roll was burnt, one coffee cold while waiting for the toastie. So our quick visit turned into a very long visit. Others were wondering where their other half had gone as they were so long waiting. Even children were getting fustrated for their drinks after their football match. Others gave up. The drive-in cars were waiting someway up the carpark. Over 7 waiting...engines running. Many tried to turn around . Will certainly rethink about visiting this Costa again on a weekend! An improvement in service or more staff is definitely required.

What you'd expect from a Costa. Nice staff and good place to work from if you can get parked. Parking area small but then not a big Costa.

Constant shortage of caramel syrup and lots of other items that aren’t displayed UNAVAILABLE before entering drive through, this costa is a total waste of time. Iced drinks are rushed and are just tasteless. So expensive for what you actually receive! Terrible

Drive through ordered coffee but the lid smelled bad and some drops of black water on it looked like been picked up from floor

My Daughter lives in this area so I usually pop in to grab a cappuccino. I've had brilliant service every time, very friendly staff at this branch.

There is a time limit of 1 hour 30 mins in the car park even if you're a paying customer. Despite spending £12.00 in store I have now received a £100 parking fine as I stayed for just under 2 hours. Email sent to Costa Coffee, but they will not assist so I'm left to deal with the delightful Parking Eye, who will no doubt reject my appeal and start sending threatening letters. What an absolutely horrendous way to treat your customers.

I got a £100 parking ticket for being there with friends . Apparently out stayed our welcome by 13 minutes. Not sure if this is new as we meet there regularly. But I won't be returning any time soon

Parking is strictly limited to 2 hours and Costa will refuse to get involved with PCN's issued to paying customers.

I had a quick stopover while travelling from Swansea in the evening, order two large black teas with milk, regular and large teas cost the same. This Costa Coffee is off the roundabout next to the M4 motorway and is easy to get to. Ideal for a coffee break if you don't want to stop at the Services. Parking spaces available with a drive thru although it can be a bit tight.

To good to go bags rubbish 3 sandwiches 2 vegan and one prawn which was off so binned no way was 11 pounds worth said you had this was Birchgrove costa don't know what others like

Had the Nacho chilli cheese toastie here was really tasty and had my vanilla latte....shocked at the price for my toastie though over £5.....but always loved costa...really eat here though mainly just get a coffee...

Clean and tidy with polite staff. Plenty of seats available. Knocked a star off for the lack of a "static" menu board - pressured into ordering something I didn't want as waiting for the electronic screen to refresh round would have held the queue up. Would hate to be someone with vision issues.

Came to meet a friend and although it stated that it was open until 8pm, I was told at 17;50 that they would be closing in the next 20 Minutes - very disappointing indeed

I went to the bathroom it was absolutely disgusting the floor was full of water tissues all over the place no toilet roll I went to tell a member of staff the place was quiet spoke to a young boy who had the worse attitude I was polite as didn't know if they were aware of it he said yea I sort it when I have time with a huff so I explained it was dangerous as the floor was flooded and no toilet paper his response was I told you I do it when I get it done and stop moaning I had to walk out before I lost it their I suggest you teach your staff manners and customer service skills to say I'm angry and disappointed

Didn't seem that busy and we got served quickly but the tables needed clearing before we got there and only one got cleared in the 40 minutes we were there, everyone was just moving stuff from one table to another to clear tables Shame really 😕

Usually I have a good service at this costa with friendly staff and good service. Today however I ordered 4 drinks, one of them with oat milk due to allergies. The lady messed up two drinks in our order, giving us 2 caramel frappes instead of 2 chocolate fudge ones. I know mistakes happen so I said I ordered 2 fudge frappes, one with oat milk. The woman serving us then gained a poor attitude, proceeding to glare at me and other customers and slamming the drinks into a bin. She then proceeded to remake the drinks. When she redid the drinks and completed the order she slammed the drinks down onto the counter and proceeded to have an appalling attitude. All because we asked nicely if she would redo our order. We didnt do anything to deserve such poor customer service. Hate to say I will not continue my frequent visits to the birchgrove again.

It's what you expect from Costa. However there is nothing you can rate with regards to equipment the parent company makes the business use, I found I was often being charged twice using Google Pay contact less. The bank confirmed it is a known issue with all Costa's and seemingly only Costa. It's not the staff's, they have always been flawless. It's a Costa HQ issue so make sure you pay cash until Costa HQ announce they get payments fixed.

Always amazing food and drinks, never been disappointed. Despite some long wait times it's absolutely worth it. The staff are wonderful and kind. The Caramel latte never fails to be delicious! Local and amazing location.

We have visited this place a few times, the staff are not very friendly! My Teacawas overcooked (they put it in with my Toasted sandwich), I paid for a Medium Hot Chocolate but was given a Small one, they are very slow with service,

Great coffee and customer service

Service inside always very slow. Drive through is quicker, if not much of a queue. Even when relatively few customers inside it's always very slow with one person serving at the till and making the drinks. Quality of food and drinks is fine, consistent with other Costa outlets (although we were given the wrong drink on our last visit which contained dairy, after ordering a dairy-free drink). I would recommend using the app to order ahead for pick up if you are passing and in a hurry.

Visited today and it was shambolic, 9 tables were left uncleared or cleaned, customers cleaning their own tables before they could sit down, food all over the floor, not what I'm used to or expect, poor.

Always takes forever to make a flat white coffee and only card not cash after you drive into the drive through plus incredibly over priced for a coffee.

Good ship, biggest problem you have ar this costa is that if the drive through is busy it takes an age to get served and then get your coffee. Not the fault of the staff but there were 4 batista on site and they all struggled to talk to you without being interrupted by the drive through. If I was to recommend anything would be to have member of staff dedicated to shop customers.
