Costa Coffee in Lambeth

WiFi is limited to 200kbps, making it effectively useless. Ice americano was okay but other places taste nicer.

This branch had been revamped a couple of months ago. They've removed the sofa bench near the door and replaced with tables and chairs and an extra fridge unit. It's brighter than before, but don't like the new menu board. It keeps alternating the pages round and round not giving you the the chance to view your choices.

Asked for less ice , was served half a cup …

Fix your dam heaters & turn that down or off it’s boiling hot in there!!! and AIRCON doesn’t even WORK!!! I asked for them to turn it down and all I was told was that ‘it’s been like that for years’ can’t have a coffee in peace without not also getting burned while sitting down inside. Keep the doors open at least.

A nice little Costa coffee store with friendly staff

Costa is the with out shadow of a doubt the most inferior, massively overrated coffee shop chain ever!!! There food is also awful! I simply cannot work out how they’re still in business.

Recently i visited this coffee shop in the morning the female staff was not at all welcoming was bit rude and i felt very negative vibes there i ll suggest the manager to teach them some customer etiquettes

A relaxing place to have a coffee

Best Costa customer service I’ve ever experienced! I ordered an oat flat white (typically 8oz) in a 12oz cup, and the barista filled the entire cup so it was essentially a latte. I drank it but was initially not super happy with it, and when Zoey saw, she offered to make a new cup for me with less milk. She was all smiles and super friendly throughout!

Very kind staff, Italian breakfast the way we like it! We had all our breakfasts here for the first week of our honeymoon! Super indeed! Surely if we were to return to London we would have our breakfast here!!!!!

The staff here are amazing and always have time (if you do) for a friendly chat or to help you out in any way they can. They have the luxury of not being the busiest branch of Costa in London, but that just means you don’t have to worry about finding a seat and can concentrate on relaxing, working, or just watching the world go by. Directly opposite Clapham South station and alongside Clapham Common, it’s well located. Being a Costa you know what you are going to get; and the free wifi worked perfectly too. My “large” coffee wasn’t anywhere near full!

No contact details for the driver. So frustrating when i can see him going the wrong way on the map and doesnt call for directions. My hot chocolate and sausage bap were freezing!

Me and my boyfriend visited this place yesterday and both of us were very impressed. As coffee lover I like Costa, but especially in this Costa Coffee I found a lot of warmth, coziness and a pleasant atmosphere. Food and drinks were nice as in any Costa. However, what makes this place special in our eyes are the staff, especially Nicolo! The service provided, the kindness and attentiveness are at the highest level! It was pleasure!

all terrible, ‘toblerone’ latte was just cheap honey in coffee flavour, iced brownie frappe tasted of water with no coffee or sweetness, cakes were broken up and disgusting . 0/10

The food is nice. The atmosphere too. The ladies....wow what a punch! Should understand what is a client, Costa should check people working for them, you ate not making me a favore guys! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Costa in this climate of non- franchised coffee shops is slacking massively, the quality of thier produce is a little pitiful and if you actually want to be able to use WiFi fruitfully? Forget it - I ended up walking further and finding Buondi - I'd highly recommend!

I used to really like this shop but this is the third Costa store to tell me they no longer serve coconut milk and that is the only one I can still drink. Very sad. Oh well, Cafe Nero from now on!

Great food and drink. Nice place. I came 30 minutes before closing time at 5pm (very early for a costa) though and the employees were in all in an eager rush to go home, and this somewhat affected the experience as I felt a bit rushed. They should wait until all customers are gone at closing time then they can do all the closing work as quickly as they want. Will give this another chance

The staff were friendly and there was fast service. Used the toilet which was a let down as it was dirty and there was tissue all over the floor.

Fantastic coffee,& comfortable place to go to chill out.

Normal service as you'd get from any other Costa coffee. However staff must uphold infection control especially during these stages of the pandemic. There were a few tables with used trays with cups and rubbish which could have easily been taken away as staffing was efficient, along with cleaning the table. All in all service was fine

It does take a long time here to get the order compared to other Costa coffee places. But the staff are nice

Friendly staff, normally plenty of tables and chairs, quick service. Light and airy with lots of floor to ceiling windows to watch the commuters rushing in and out of Clapham South underground station and a couple of tables outside, but on a busy junction.

Good place to have a break from the chaos of London traffic. Park free within Clapham Common or by the Tesco.

Finally good speciality coffee at Clapham South. Straight at the station.

Normal coffe shop but no immediate parking. Have to park round corner on Hazelbourne Rd or can park in tesco car park

I thought this was a nice cosy and friendly coffee shop. There were a couple of hiccups because they nearly served me a strong coffee although I asked for a decaf and I had to remove some used cups from my table. However they were playing some nice music and it’s very convenient because it’s just opposite Clapham South tube station and near to Clapham Common. There is also a Burger King nearby. I’m also had a soft settee to myself so it was worth the visit. The staff seemed very friendly.

Cappachino was to strong and bitter. Not cosy at all sad to say my cousin and I left within the hour.

Great coffee shop located just opposite Clapham South tube. Friendly staff and great coffee, it is often busy but the staff manage to keep up without sacrificing the quality and flavour of the coffee. Would definitely recommend anyone in the area going there.

Not a fan of coffee for £3 but clean loos

Nice little Costa. Short staffed when quite busy at 4pm, with just two on. The Yummy Mummies from the posh primary all come in to yammer on their phones and ignore their kds. The tables were not clean, but what can staff do with a constant queue? Lady in front of me spent £20 on food and drinks for two ! This is an expensive area!

What's to say ? The staff were helpful and friendly and service was swift. Shame there was only one table outside, another could have fitted in. Prices were typical for the chain.

Lovely staff and great variety of items but I really wish they had different high chairs! The ones stocked are just horrible to use and hardly any child I have been there with has been able to sit in it without bawling their eyes out! Then again it could just be our kids no doubt. Love the hot chocolate here and bacon buns for breakfast. Nice and spacious as well and great baby change facilities.

Coffee was nice enough. The actual store itself was not very clean, we had to remove somebody's tray of used mugs and rubbish to the side which wasn't cleared up for he entirety of our stay.
