Costa Coffee in Leeds

I ordered a frappe for my son who was poorly, together with some sweet treats at the drive thru on Thursday 17th October. I was served by Estera who gave the most amazing customer service. She was warm, friendly and is an absolute credit to Costa. I really couldn’t praise her any higher.

I wanted to give Beth and Ethan a 5 star review at the Thornbury Costa in Bradford for their service, Beth always remembers my order as a regular and goes above and beyond every time. Ethan always sprinkles a bit of a personal touch (see photo). This is exactly how to create a local shop vibe rather than an impersonal large franchise. Give these two a raise!!! They both set a fantastic example to their colleagues. I walk away always feeling that bit special especially as my coffee is one treat I allow myself every day.

I always receive a consistently fantastic customer experience at this store. All the staff.are friendly, my favourite is Romana who.literally makes the best flat white ever

Drive through is a con! I was charged £8.00 for a medium drink and new York bagle! Plus I had the 30% reward discount for food! Some inflation busting price rises I think. Won't be using this one again!

Yes I will update my review Google, to say that the staff are still as rude as ever!! Second week in a row where the opening times online don't match up with reality! Just walked 30mins to come for a coffee and cake with my daughters, to find a note on the door saying it shuts at 5pm. You need to change the website times Costa!! Really rubbish!

Yes the place is looking tired but the staff are brilliant especially Beth who always greets you with a smile and makes you feel very welcome. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Arrived just as till had “gone down” so was told could wait but they couldn’t say when we’d be able to buy anything. We were going to wait but looking around, the place was rather dirty: chocolate and food crumbs on the fabric sofas, multiple tables with dirty cups and plates. And just generally not welcoming. So, we left.

The Costa at Gallagher park at Thornbury Bradford is brilliant, the staff are simply the best, nothing is too much trouble 5*

Got a hot chocolate that was hella weak and a chocolate brownie frappè......just a tip team, you asked if we wanted coffee in the frappè, thats a Frappuccino. Even when we said no, and we were quite confused by the question mind you, you still came back with coffee in it.....🤔 I understand you had just had an argument with a customer about her drink being too cold, but even still. Pay attention, listen to the order and prepare it properly.

Have been several times before writing this review. The most recent, I was served by Amy who did a magnificent job. She remembered my allergies and previous order and directed the staff to thoroughly clean the utensils etc. She preempted any requests and made me feel completely safe. She also mentioned she had spoken about my allergies in a team meeting. This service exceeds my expectations and I am always happy to return. Thank you

Surprised at all the good reviews about this place . Hot chocolate was not hot , stingy on the cream. Had issues with this place a few times few years back, randomly decided to try again and it's just the same. The only costa that has let me down ever and not once! Won't be coming back

Went for a coffee and food today was not a nice place needs a deep clean including the coffee machine that was filthy. There was food all over the floor which would be understandable if was busy but wasn’t. Staff was just miserable and like they didn’t want to be there

always love this place. drinks made with care and effort, and the ambience was lovely despite being slightly busy. honestly though - portion of the large indoor cups is amazing and hot drinks expertly made, too; so frothy and smooth. edit: this was a 5 star review. unfortunately now it's not. beware the short lady with glasses and a long pony tail. constantly makes my experience (and a few other's) difficult. it's not even a one time thing now, it's often 😭 i always think she'll be nicer but she isn't. send ur condolences, i’m too gullible x

Food and coffee Quality is not too bad but there is a lady with scarf working there, she is so rude and resist. I'm regular customer since 2019 but I won't go to this branch anymore.

We Use to go every single Sundays but this days coffee is like water n taste of coffee completely different.don’t ask about customer service specially the girl who wearing scarf she treats people like animals.we never come back to this place.

Wish this place would properly advertise it's opening hours online. Only the drive through opens until 8pm. The cafe area shuts at 6pm on weekdays which also seems far too early for a busy main road position 😕

My first time at Costa in Bradford and it was great. We went for a bite to eat with the kids and the staff were extremely helpful. The lady serving me saw that I had my hands full with the kids and drinks so insisted in helping out and bringing the remaining order to the table. Lovely atmosphere with some business meetings and friendly gatherings as well. Will definitely go again when I'm back in Bradford. Thank you Costa Bradford

I'm not the biggest fan of American style coffee shops. I visit Costa's infrequently, usually accompanying family members or friends. I always ask for a black coffee. Irritatingly the reply is always, 'do you mean americano?' I usually reply 'no, I mean a black coffee. Then it becomes, do you want milk in it. I despair. As I am well into my latter years, it will always be, Black Coffee please. All said and done the staff are always polite, friendly and quite efficient. (Even if they may think I'm being awkward.) 🤔

Visited by chance. Disabled parking space filled with flash sports car no disabled badge so had to park in KFC car park . Reported to a staff member who did nothing , told the car owner who stuck one finger up to me . Terrible atmosphere felt really intimidated. Will not return and advise others to drive by and go to Starbucks nearby.

Always pick this branch staff are first-class, go at least 4 times a week after work for the last year with my bestie Marie, but sadly I'm going to have to change😒 the powers that be have decided to change opening hours due to cutting staff hours, don't like rushing my coffee and food, think they will lose out financially #stayopentill7pm,

Lovely,friendly staff. Quick service and very helpful. Good choice of drinks and food. Very clean and spacious shop. Noticed some lovely Christmas gifts near the counter.

What an absolute disgrace. Despicable quality of food. You pay by looking at the picture of (4.75£ for a Brie, bacon, cranberry panini) and what you get is LARGE BREAD WITH A TINY, soggy 1 bit of bacon and almost no Brie and most certainly no cranberry inside. Stick that food up your ****, coffee is also very low quality on taste (like soapy water) WHAT IS WEONG WITH YOU GUYS ? Why so much behind Starbucks on quality ? Reduce prices then at least. Enjoy what you’ve deserved, it’s a shame I did not take picture of your panini on a screen and compared it to what I’ve got.

Opening hours aren’t clear. Says on Google and on the Costa app that it closes at 9pm but every time I try to go the door is locked. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me now.

Were dining in and gave the dessert in a paper bag!! Such lazy staff!! Rude and never smile while serving.. definitely not recommend this to anyone !!

5 stars just for the fact that the place is clean and tidy. No mounts of used dishes scattered around.

Whoever made our Uber Delivery today is an absolute gem. For some people it's just a lunch delivery, for us today it was a pick me up treat, as we've had a pretty tough week. The ham/ cheese toasties and sundried tomato /cheese toasties done to perfection. So tasty. And the large hot chocolate and decaf hazelnut lattes were just en pointe. Husband says its the best hot chocolate he's had in years. My latte was pretty special too. You can always tell when things are made with care and joy. But what made it extra? The little notes and smiley faces. My goodness, you gave us the lift we needed with just the smallest of touches and I would just like to say to that person. Thank you. You have no idea how much that's boosted our spirits. Please keep doing you. X

Having been in shielding for 2 years its nice to have a little treat. Pre pandemic it was one of our favourite places to visit and have a coffee indoors.

Excellent coffee and nice selection of food but a bit pricey.

Love the staff, always very helpful and friendly. As a customer with significant mobility skills, parking close to the door is a necessity. Arrived today to find a silver gti car was parked in the disabled bay. it was not displaying a badge. Whilst enjoying our drinks and food there the owner of the vehicle came out to move it to the standard parking bays. It was a staff member, with no obvious disabilities. I often choose to come to this location over others nearby thanks to the lack of suitable parking. Please don't continue to allow this to continue as I will have no option to go to alternative coffee houses (even though they aren't as nice as costa).

We get a cappuccino and a hot chocolate drinks alway hot, ham and cheese toasties was really nice and the cakes are delicious. Staff always friendly and speedy service, only down side is when using drive through they don't half rush you, soon as you start saying your first drink, they say next window, been a coupe of times it's put me off ordering anything extra.

Love Costa but this branch was below par. The staff were weird, and the trainee barista who took my order spoke to me like I was hard of hearing and then just stood looking at me with an uncomfortable gaze! Will not be rushing back.

Coffee was Great . The only thing was couldn't use the handgel as no batteries for the machine!! Which for me is necessary. Good thing I had my own .I think they should be given plenty of batteries 🔋 or be able to buy them themselves.

Needs a good clean. Furniture is grubby & tables rarely cleaned between customers. Hand sanitiser station at entrance always empty. Definitely better Costa's out there.

According to google open till 21:00. Drove 5mls to find out that its open till 18:00.

I enjoy going to this Costa,The batista was very helpful, helping me decide what type of coffee to have. The coffee house was well presented and not too busy.

Went through the drive thru on the 13th in the evening and received the BEST customer service I’ve ever received by the associate with a hijab (sorry I didn’t take her name) but she was incredibly helpful and sweet and absolutely made our day!!

Upon arrival the staff greeted us in a very unformal manor, the usual cakes were unavailable as theyre now only serving christmas cakes, then to top it off the monkey prepping our order spills an overfilled cup all over my chocolate twist, never again

Really friendly and helpful staff. They were able to help me choose from the menu as we talked through products I liked, and what would suit. Had a fantastic Belgian chocolate frostino that really hit the spot. Got a real sense of the community vibe they put out to with the fundraising they are doing. Absolute gems, i pulled over to helped an elderly lady who had broken down and the guys at costa had got her inside and settled ket her use phone and everything,helped me push the car out if the middle of the junction THEN offered us complimentary beverages. What lovely staff really helped the lady who was shook up to say the least! Absolutely amazing guys! Above and beyond!

A daily coffee run to Costa has become a thing. The best coffee shop locally serving only the finest quality of coffee.

Absolutely the best coffee shop for customer service as well as everything else. I rang to ask if they'd be going online on uber eats as I had been checking all day with no joy. Costa for me is a 45 minute walk & we don't drive & as it was raining, delivery from uber sounded perfect for our girls good behaviour at school reward. They went online straight away for me & even put me two small cups & lids in my order when I rang back to ask. The two young men who helped me today, thank you so much. I cannot thank you enough for going above & beyond to help a customer like you did today!! I truly hope you're recognised for your perfect customer service skills. Thank you for making a 3 & 4 year old little girl happy today.

Paid for a medium got a small due to 1. Not having any larger cups 2. The barista being adamant that we paid for a small - no receipt given. Unfortunately I was really pressed for time and could not stand and fight my corner.

Really dirty tables full of empty cups etc .2 young lads working hard but the woman present doing nothing walk past me as I was in que looked at all dirty tables and just went outside ,the young lad working inside trying to do everything . woman came back in looked at dirty tables and just went in back.noone in que wearing masks or being asked to been hear 25mins now and tables still not been cleared won't be back

Absolutely the worst service. They weren't busy but it still took 25 minutes to make our drinks, which we didn't even get until we came into the shop to tell them. What is the point of even having it as drive through.

Not been open that long and already the seats are stained and looking a bit grotty. Nobody seems to clear the tables either. I sat in there for about an hour and the tables that were dirty on the way in, were still dirty on the way out. Perhaps it needs 4 people behind the counter on a quiet day. The seating area just has to suffer.

Not such a great experience very lazy staff as they just shoved my toastie in, they should be side by side not on top of each other because now their stuck and falling apart as I try to pull them out

Lovely costa inside is really good USB plugs for on the go.phome charging. Staff really friendly and service was excellent. Had a pink hot chocolate was really tasty.

Always an amazing drive through experience. I go every weekend for my morning coffee fix and not once have I been disappointed with the taste and temperature of my drink. The lads who have served me in the past, Geoffrey and Brandon have a great work ethic! Served with a smile! Always felt leaving very HAPPY!!! My favourite costa coffee!!! Thank you.
