Costa Coffee in Derby

Fabulous Costa coffee in park farm centre Allestree, really great service, coffee amazing, food really good, my favourite is The Almond slice and Americano coffee. Lots of delicious treats and great service!

Always amazing service here from swat she is a asset to this store always friendly and goes out of her way to make us feel welcome no matter how busy she is she always acknowledges us when we enter and thanks us as we leave her customer service is second to none and one of the only reasons we visit this store regularly thank you for your excellent customer service, management need to give her a pay rise or bonus she deserves it with how hard she works

This a place for whether it's a business meeting or even a coffee for two or a meeting with friends, Costa offers high quality service as it is cozy and very comfortable

Nice Costa with friendly staff but one member of staff serving at lunch times is not good. Especially when you’re just trying to grab a quick take away coffee

Absolutely fabulous coffee, but, after visiting Costa at park farm Allestree, there were people working in there on there laptop's, tapping away, or should I say , company's laptops, they don't work for Costa, you go in to a coffee shop to relax, not be in an office environment!!!!!!!

Very noisy inside so difficult to hear our conversation! As my wife uses a mobility scooter there was not much room to move between the tables and no dedicated space to put your scooter in.

Like most other Costas too many cluttered tables of dirty cups etc. No member of staff bothered to do anything about it.

Always had an excellent experience here, especially from Reece who is always up for great convo whilst serving which is a nice added touch.

Absolutely appalled by staff! Yesterday my girlfriend tried to go in 45 minutes before closing to get a drink and was turned away by snarky staff who said they were closed. This is very dissapointing as I have also experienced this myself. As someone who also works in the precinct Im dissapointed that there are people like this. Everyone else is so lovely in the area

I go for my regular large coffee every Monday and Tuesday morning at Park Farm in Allestree. Nedj, the manager and the young lady with the dark hair (sorry I can’t remember her name) truly make me welcome. They always have a smile on their faces, polite, helpful and will always chat with you whilst they work, and that makes you feel special. Nedj does an absolutely amazing job managing the store (he goes above and beyond. Quite frankly, I’ve never seen anyone so dedicated). A point to add to this review is that some customers pointed out the staff were on the phone. Yes they are on the phone, but they are working - taking Uber orders/deliveries etc. I often think that people truly don’t think things through before placing comments. Sometimes there can be one maybe two staff members working at any one time, but they can’t dictate the volume of traffic or telephone orders they receive in any one day. They truly work hard! Five star service. Well done 👏🏻 they’re an awesome team. 👌😃

Awful Costa. Rude staff & closed at 4:45 On a Saturday?? Says 6pm on Costa website & even here. Turned us away!

I would like to say thank you to the kind and helpful staff that had to clear up my mess after knocking over my strawberry frappe today. What a mess I made. The guys were so kind. Lovely service.

Great place for coffee and a bite to eat. Toilets were spotless, very clean everywhere. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The worst Costa in derby. Rude, ignorant staff, completely the opposite of welcoming. You’re made to feel that you’re inconveniencing the ‘barista’ when ordering as you’ve disturbed his conversation with another staff member, that won’t happen again as I won’t be returning. Looking at some of the reviews it’s not just me.

Nice, spacious Costa for a relaxing drink

Whilst my coffees and the mint hot chocolates were fine it was too busy a Sunday afternoon for the 2 staff. Ordering was a faff, the covid screen meant the barista and I couldn't hear each other very well having to lean around the side of it. Pots piled up on tables and some one else's hot food left at the counter... Oh boy... Not calm... If at Park Farm then go to the Peacock next door for your coffee it is a better experience.

Fab coffee and really really friendly staff. We were served by a lady barista in training Carolina or Caroline I think her name was… She was really polite and made a good coffee!!

Lovely clean and quiet Costa, mocha was just a bit bitter tasting in my opinion.

Absolutely shocking Costa. This has a serious impact on the brand for other Costa Coffee shops. Firstly, the opening hours. I don’t know about most but I would expect a coffee shop to be open from 6/6:30am. Secondly, I can absolutely validate the comments made about the customer service. Very rude, abrupt and arrogant. The Barista serving me didn’t even know what pouring cream was and I had to show her that it was in the fridge. Finally, I can’t say I am surprised with any of the above points as this seems to be the most understaffed Costa I have ever seen with usually just one member of Staff serving on the till and making the coffees. This leads to inordinate waiting times. This branch is a joke and a usually good experience in Costa stores is shattered in my local area. Sort it out guys!! Regards, Avid Coffee Drinker

What a disappointment! It felt like the last thing the staff wanted to do was sell anything. The only guy in the shop was on the phone all the time, was impatient with me looking through the options and gave me a bad cold coffee. Couldn't finish it, so money went into the bin :( :( I guess this COSTA isn't getting my support during these times.

Still yet to have a decent coffee, everytime it's been a disappointment.

The staff are rude. I do not want to return as i feel uncomfortable around the rude staff. The food is very good, just like any other costas, but i feel the staff ruined it for me. I will not be returning to this.

Cafe laté, with extra shot, very sweet, large, to go. Always perfect, whatever branch you go to.

The staff were all training so it was a little slow, but that will improve I'm sure. A nice venue with plenty of seating.
