This is a Costa Coffee in an area brimming with independent cafes. You would be much better served going to one of these instead.

The lady was kind and we got our coffees to go fast. Good coffee and an amazing muffin. It's near the bus stop 68 both ways. Easy to find and centered on Norwood road.

I used to pop in here two or three times a week for a quick lunch. Typically, English Breakfast tea and a cheese and ham panini. The paninis used to be quite good. They were cooked on a traditional panini grill/press. Last week they replaced the panini grill/press with a Merrychef combination microwave and fan oven and the paninis are now absolutely rubbish. They are barely warm, the cheese is not fully melted and instead of crisp, toasted bread, it is now encased in soggy, floppy, uncompressed dough. I will not be back unless the traditional panini grill/press returns.

This was a quirky place that failed to live up to our expectations. We visited for lunch. On the plus side, the cakes looked delicious and the Indian chai was as tasty as any we’ve had on the subcon
