Counter closes earlier than advertised so the colleagues can leave early. Don’t advertise you open till 10pm and the shut at 9.50pm.. absolute joke! Staff miserable as refused to take an order

OMG! How is it possible for 3 staff to take so long to serve 3 customers! Not busy, just incredibly disorganised.

All the staff are friendly but Ewa is a star when she teases me about my shirt and no tie with the new dress code

Waited 20 minutes to get to the till for the staff being unable to know how to do a captains club transaction. Dreadful sorry to say left hungry

Utterly shameful attitude towards customers, refused to serve me with a dairy free alternative after they took the order incorrectly. Rather hospitalise a customer than provide them with what they asked for. Spoken to like absolute dirt by the staff member. Vile experience. I would suggest going to somewhere with a better attitude towards customers such as North Korea

Terrible, rude staff who need re-training. There is a woman called Alexandra working they're today 20/12/23 who was extremely rude and unprofessional. She shouted at me because I asked to use my road chef discount card and my app at the same time which I've done countless times with no issue. I've never been spoken to so badly by a member of staff and I'm very very angry and upset. She should not be working there and treating people like that

Absolutely fabulous service from fantastic staff, both serving and cleaning. Our six year old accidently spilt his hot chocolate, and two bags of Skittles went flying whilst trying to clean up. Chocolate replaced with extra marshmallows and the result was one happy little boy. The staff couldn't have done more to help. Well done!

The worst Chai Latte I’ve ever tasted! Literally a cup of hot milk, no sweet chai taste whatsoever and no offer of any cinnamon sprinkles. Very disappointed

3 behind counter and noone serving. Waited minutes and then left. Staff were giggling about about sorting cups. Only one member of staff were doing the drinks & serving which was annoying as caused delays.

Auto order screen not working so redirected direct to till. Order taken and payment made - but didn’t realise by the time we waited then collected drinks, that we hadn’t been given our cake! Too late by the time we were back in the motorway. V sad!!

2 girls in the drive through literally incapable of making a drink correctly, been past here 3-4 times and every time it's either a cup of warm milk or a cup of cold milk, like they only know one of the ingredients - it baffles me how you can't follow instructions written in the wall (Ordered ice whip vanilla latte)

Lovely clean and well-stocked Costa. Staff were delightful and chatty, genuinely caring how they made our food and drinks. Can highly recommend!

Staff can’t cope. Gloomy. No chemistry. Five pound chocolate drink tasted like water. Scrimping on chocolate sauce / whipped cream.

Typical Road chef..... only opens Costa after most ppl have started work...oh but we have machine coffee... that you get less in and pay almost the same price..... Road chef is a Joke compared to MOTO and Welcome Break...

Coffee was lovely but the attitude of the man who served us definitely left a lot to be desired.

It's a Costa, at least it's a fairly consistent product and, for a change, not too much of a price uplift over non motorway Costas. Right in the middle of the services, slower than the machines in the Spar and Smith's but I have an aversion to paying the same for a machine to make my coffee. Very busy. Staff do try though.

Friendly staff, tasty frappucino. Left my handbag by outside bench at Southound Costa, luckily someone sat opposite handed this into Costa and Duty Manager Stuart, drove my bag across to North bound Costa for me to collect. Very helpful. Went out of his way to return. Appreciated.

Sunday 26th March and we we travelling along the M5 on our way from to Bolton back home to Seaton in Devon. We stopped at Strensham Service Station (South) for a pit stop break. We also took the opportunity to have a coffee at this Costa. It was a bit busy but that did not justify the slowest of service, the staff appeared to be more interested in chatting to themselves rather that serving customers. Eventually it was our turn to be served and we ordered two flat whites which were £4.10 each. The price was a bit of a surprise as we only paid £3.15 for the same drink in Blackpool, the day before. Appreciate that costs at Service Stations are a bit higher, but 95p on a cup of coffee was verging on rip off. Our coffees were prepared and served, no staff service awards to be given here, we found a place to sit. The table, although cleared was certainly not clean there were food crumbs and old drink stains dried on the table. Safe to say not seen a wet cloth in a good while. We were hopeful that the coffee would be good and worth it all. Sadly this was not the case, they were certainly lacking in heat and flavour. If we ever find ourselves travelling in this direction again, we won't be visiting here.

Closed early with a que! Same thing happened with the shop aswell dunno wether there was a problem but staff just said no more orders and basically ushered us out the nooooobs! Propper annoyed all we came for was a costa!

Useless. Waited 10mins to get food heated, then they gave it to someone else without checking. Waited another 10mins to get it done again. Not great for a motorway service station when you want to get home.

3 people behind the counter one busy stacking buns on top of buns when there is a huge queue with only one till. Terrible service.

Spriya and Natasha are a great team! Our iced cappuccinos were excellent. They coordinated taking orders and preparing drinks for optimal results. I hope they are there next time we pass this way 😊

I like Costa coffee but today I was disappointed - the reward machine didn't work and I didn't get the receipt

It's getting really expensive now, need to ration visits.

Courteous staff, willing to help with a quirky order and willing to use our own refillable mugs.

Costa drive through is a life saver. The only people you have to interact with is the one person serving your coffee, and she was great. Also, it's costa so already a bonus lol.

Asked for medium late extra hot. Did not get what I asked for so had it made again. Till receipt had scant information on it with no price no points added but did say catd verified. I asked for an explanation to be told " that is the computer, sorry. Worrying!

Great coffee, very helpful and polite staff.

Ordered a caramel latte and paid £4.30. Got half a cup of normal latte with caramel completely missed off. Appears to be very busy cleaning before closing for the day and not very impressed with me being the last customer. The service at A46 service is far better than this place and they do smile and also remind you how hot the cup is even though I showed up late as well as having to clean their coffee machine all over again.

RUDE. Guy at the drive thru asked me for my money… I said ‘Please?’, he said yes. I said it’s polite to say please, he said why should I say please when it’s you that wants the coffee. I said it’s polite to say please when you ask for someone’s money. Result: they get a knaff 1 star review and I go into the services for a sit down coffee.

Stale shocking croissant. Disappointing Costa stop. Asked if there was a fresh one to exchange .... no that is Fresh was response. Did then offer a refund shouting loudly across store. Catia then came across as I was not hearing what her stating that I could look at package that was delivered this am.... photo speaks louder than words.

Good choice of sandwiches and snacks alongside the normal drinks ranges Sign in store confusing telling you to queue both sides. When we went to, we were told to join the queue, tried explaining about the sign, only to be told wouldn't be served here?? Otherwise staff generally friendly and quick service for food and drinks ordered

It would appear that Strensham Costa (both sides) do not know what a Cortado is? Both times we received very milky, weak coffee in large cups and when questioned were told this was a Cortado! Every other Costa and in fact their own website says differently. A Cortado is a double espresso with the same amount of steamed milk!, we’ve been drinking them for years, but never again at those services!

As busy as it was, still quick service and great customer service too 👍

First time I've paid extra for oat milk. £4.30 for a latte... not even a good latte. I'll skip this one next time.

Abrupt and brash service. Requested a large but told abruptly that they did a medium. Received my drink and when questioned whether it was a medium i was rudely told that it was a medium serve as it was up to the line on the cup and in fact slightly over the line so they had given me too much. Obviously I was not as charming as the guy in front of me who received a much fuller cup than I did 😒 Will not be visiting that Costa again and will go through the drive through.

We queued for 30 minutes before receiving our food. Food, however, was nice and hot! Toasties came in panini boxes?!?

Slow service, they mixed up my toastie for someone else's and they gave my drink to someone else as well. After waiting 10 minutes for the drink holding my now getting cold toastie I was finally able to ask where my drink was. Not even an apology, and this was from the site manager Lea who was on the hot drinks today.

Apparently closed at 1827hrs. Random time and there were still people sat inside but they put the barrier across and said closed when asked.

I use costa coffee everyday! But as for this costa coffee NEVER AGAIN!!!! The service was appalling!! Attitude!!! I had 2 small coffee's which cost nearly 8 quid!! The coffee is vile!!!!! Burn't and leaves a very bad after taste!!! DISAPPOINTED

£3.49 for a flat white at the drive thru. Next time will stick with McDonald's. What a rip off.

A good place to stop during a long journey. Nice and clean, friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Coffee ok. Food rubbish. We ordered toasted tea cakes with our coffee. The tea cakes were warm, not toasted, the butter straight from the fridge. They tasted dreadful, my partner refused to eat his. Will not eat there again.

Light and airy cafe, newly refurbished with comfortableseating and all kept clean and tidy. Fine selection of sweet treats, if a tad pricey. Efficient and friendly staff. Yet their tea was nowt special.

Don't bother using the Costa coffee machines as they are poorly maintained and ran out of milk after one drink and I'd paid for three. I asked the staff at the Costa coffee bar if they could just top my drinks up with hot milk but they refused, saying the machines were nothing to do with them. You'd think in the interests of good customer service they would have obliged but obviously they absolutely do not care about customer satisfaction. Very very poor and I will never buy anything from them ever again.

The coffee was OK, but tables were untidied for long periods. Clearing your own table necessary. With only one unisex toilet, it vigilance and speed to get to use it.

The staff dilly dally so don't expect quick service. Just a bog standard Costa nothing special.

Coffee is good but the machine is ear shattering prohibiting my return to the establishment.
