Costa Coffee in Sheffield

Called in for a latte and a salted caramel frappe Niamh served us with a lovely smile and was very good at customer service . Drinks excellent Service excellent

Asked for no coffee in my cream based frappe but I could taste right away they had put coffee in it. I politely asked if it could be remade as I cant have coffee as it makes me ill and they argued with me and rudely said they definitely hadn't put coffee in it. Such rude staff and clearly aren't bothered about dietary requirements.

Well I've been coming for years and in the last 11 months you have put the price up twice and changed from 8 beans to 10 beans for a free coffee. Feel you av left me no choice but to get my coffee elsewhere. Very disgruntled customer. Mr Gingerbread Man

We alternate beween Drake house Costa and the one in Peaks, but called in Drakehouse on Monday 3rd January, The lady serving pleasant as usual (Julie). but the guy clearing tables didnt have a clue, cleared around 4 tables when we first went in but didnt wipe any of them. Came out later and cleared another 3 tables again didnt wipe any. This is disgusting at any time but during these difficult time its totally unacceptable. Customers were coming and sitting at empty tables oblivious to the fact they were not clean. We always sanitise our table even it it looks clean , but this shouldnt be necessary. I think the guy is supposed to be the manager.

Not informed when entering that most tables are out of use, meaning there was nowhere to sit after having already ordered “drink in” coffees. Member of staff supposedly directing customers to tables appears to have an attitude problem when informing that there are no tables available.

Male member of staff extremely aggressive for me mistakingly not walking on the arrows correctly to the table. When stood in the que the same staff member walked right up to me stocking the shelves and almost touching me. When I stepped back and asked him to keep a safe distance he laughed. When he served me, coffees were deliberately delayed as many customers behind me got theirs before. Disgusting customer service. Reported to another member of staff who took my name and number and said manager would ring - never had the call. I feel for his colleagues

Been a few times, only way to get a feel of the place. Cold feel to the place, with people sat in using wifi without purchasing anything and a steady stream of people in and out to just use the toilets. Customers with yapping dogs in a very echoing place where they don't seem to shush them. The coffee is fine but the atmosphere is very uncomfortable not a place for a relaxing meeting with friends.

I'm often nipping into Costa around Sheffield, but I must say that the Drakehouse franchise is one if the best. The service is prompt and friendly and the coffee is always hot.. something the other Costa's I wish could achieve. Keep up the good work

Oh dear. 1 person serving, taking money and making coffees. I didn't mind the wait - ages - but fingers in the takeaway cups is just disgusting. Just after touching her headset, moving her hair and then taking money from people (maybe handled by who know who and how many) she put her fingers in both of our takeout cups!!!! Proceeds to cut our baguettes with said fingers on top of bread!!! No serviettes given as too busy, obviously. No trays either! Had to take coffees, baguettes and buns separately to table. The cloths used to wipe the nozzles was disgustingly dirty and was dropped on the counter between each cup filling. Disgraceful. I like Costas but this is unforgiveable. No wonder they were featured on Watchdog for being dirty!

Called here to to the Crystal Peaks outlet being very poor recently. Had a pleasant experience here. Service was good with friendly staff and was quick. Toilets and general area clean. Only negative thing about here is lack of parking and traffic in the local area at weekend

Kids enjoyed their babyccinos, always comfy seating available, toilets clean, friendly staff, love the drive thru!

Called in the other day for a few drinks with my three kids (all adults). As the title says, the staff (4 of them) were completely innatentive and seemed to be engrossed in their own conversation. When eventually served, I ordered a large iced latte only to be told, 'we only do them in medium'; who knew?? Anyway, we got our drinks are headed for a table. The first three we came to were scruffy, sticky and bore the signs of previous customer's spillages and napkins. Napkins that you have to ask for I might add. We settled for a relatively clean one that was wonky and spilt the drinks every time it moved. Why 4 members of staff cant wipe down dirty tables I have no idea. They were hardly run off their feet with perhaps half a dozen people in there. I popped to the loo before we left and it was filthy with used towels on the floor etc. To say this is a relatively new Costa, it's probably the worst 'kept' one I have ever visited. Manager required!!
