Costa Cafe in Milton Keynes

Went to this Costa today asked for caramel latte and a Bakewell tart, coffee was perfect done buy another member not the one that served me but the guy that served me didn’t understand a word I said clearly, I said I wanted a Bakewell tart 3 times and I even pointed it out to him, got home to find he had given me a lemon slice which I don’t like so wasted my money

They got a never ending infestation of flies

Great place for coffee My friend has Coeliac and I asked if they could wash things out so she could try my Summer berries drink (due to cross-contamination) Two baristas, Katie and Myeisha were very helpful and made sure to grab new/clean equipment to make the drink for me so my friend could also have some. By law this should be done anyway, but my friend is often made to feel like a nuisance for her dietary needs, however this didn't happen in this Costa. They were very helpful and catering towards us, their service was amazing!

Very helpful staff.... crowded area. Bit expensive. . Stephanie was really good manager.. Need more items in the menu.

The milk is spilled, and when you ask for the coffee to be returned, you are treated poorly and you throw the cup in the sink angrily I do not advise any coffee lover to try this branch because you will hate the coffee makers from the old lady inside She is not Barista she is mix and pass

Quiet Sunday morning but somehow they took my payment then completely forgot I was waiting for my coffee. Coffee was ok when I finally got it.

I went there for a company breakfast it was absolutely spot on loved it very tasty and the staff professional welcoming and friendly I will return to this great eatery Xavier Richards ))))

I was at sunset walk costa today, Not sure what happens with the stuff, but they seem to be like they don't want to work there. I've tried to make a conversation and I was ignored. The other day there was a girl in training, and she came across very nice, i believe her name is Rebecca, however it looked like the other team members were giving her hard times, even infront of customers! So unprofessional! Although Rebecca dealt with it well. Even she is new she is so far the nicest person there. The other staff who are not on training need to develop people skills.

Long waits, ceiling covered in flies. Disgusting, walked out.

Not too busy. Drinks fine. Downstairs rather cold. Trying to get the code for the toilets seems impossible. Staff say they will get someone to do the code and then ignore you

Longest time I have ever had to wait to be served, waited over 15 minutes when there were around 6-7 people ahead in the queue. Had to repeat our orders, the barrista would ask our order and later the cashier would ask again what have we ordered. Once we got our orders and went upstairs, multiple tables had leftover cups and trays, tables and seats not cleaned properly. The worst experience in a Costa so far. The coffee shop was short staffed, Costa perhaps it's worth to hire more personnel?

Definitely does not open at 8 on a Sunday. I was there at 8 15 to 8 30 and whilst there were clearly staff there it wasn't open. Starbuck was open at 8 though Sunday hours were updated by the business in the 2 last week according to Google..

Very Disappointed today worst £7 I’ve spent was waiting to be served for a good couple of minutes due too one girl and an Asian man standing talking place looked grubby. Flies where around fruit flies. The lady who served me her Hygiene looked very bad. Ordered a Medium Chocolate brown Frap with a cake didn’t even want to eat the cake after seeing all the flies at the front whilst being served to then be sat down and more flies where around which put me completely off to the point I chucked half my cake away and got up and left felt very dirty itchy in there worst Costa experience ever.

It's a standard coffee shop, but it was untidy on the day. However the staff came to wipe our table soon after being requested.

There are always long queues, orders are taken quickly, but you have to wait a long time. They confused my order, maybe the employees were tired or such employees

Thus Costa was SO busy but the staff were exceptionally polite and friendly - don't know the name if the tall guy but he is a credit to the company. I'm ready a gun of the coffee and now I'm a fan of the staff too.

Overpriced. Staff is not qualified to do proper job. For a simple one drink have to wait 15mins. Not worth it. Some cakes outdated . I've been at busy places where customer service and cleanliness in store much better!

Always good service even at high volume times. The team are friendly, helpful and cheerful and the coffee is excellent.

Choice for coffee and food was available. Staff are friendly and quick especially for a sat morning rush. Enjoyed my coffee and toastie outside

his is the best Costa branch in Milton Keynes, mainly because of the upstairs area and the friendly staff. The staff know my order even before I ask, which is great as a regular customer. However, the upstairs area is often closed, which is a shame as the downstairs area is too small and cramped. I would love to be able to work on my laptop in peace upstairs, but that's only possible when the upstairs area is open, which is rare. Overall, I would still recommend this branch as the staff are nice and down-to-earth, unlike some of the other branches in Milton Keynes.

I liked the coffee, atmosphere and sandwich but I think customer service could be a lot more better. Treat everybody the same not just because my skin colour is different from the one serving me... This is my point of view because I did not feel welcome when I visited... My honest review

Without a doubt the best costa in MK, the staff maintain a high level of effectiveness and friendliness regardless of how busy it is.

Honestly the nicest Costa workers in any Costa in MK I've been to. They're always so friendly which is impressive given how busy this store is. The upstairs dining area is the best thing about this store. It's laid out so nicely and is the perfect place to sit and work in. This costa opens early too so you can get a drink in the morning. I would say the food is better than the drinks as a general thing about costa, just because I prefer different coffee. But that is no fault of this store itself as they make drinks well to a high standard every time. This is the nicest Costa in central MK for sure. 4 stars for atmosphere simply because of how busy the store is which can get a bit off putting.

This is probably the best branch of Costa in Milton Keynes purely because of the upstairs area and because the staff are nice and reasonably friendly. As a regular, they always know my drink before I’ve even ordered. Only thing letting them down is the fact the upstairs area is always closed which is a real shame as the downstairs area is too small and cramped. Upstairs you can have your coffee and work away on the laptop in peace - but that’s only when it’s actually open every blue moon. Overall, would recommend though as the staff are nice and don’t have huge egos unlike other branches I could mention.

Very cold were i sat. Uncomfortable chairs, atmosphere not welcoming

Adequate drinks, good service but poor cleanliness; all the cups and cutlery we were given were stained and water marked. Someone needs to run the dishwasher properly.

Hot drinks always served hot. Good service. Reasonable prices. Everything's even better with the loyalty card.

Coffee is good, venue is tight, staff friendly.

Nice cafe, can get annoyingly busy sometimes though :)) they have an outside area which is great.

The service and coffee were good but, it may have been the time of day as the cakes were really dry and unappetising.

What a #### show. They have no idea what they have / haven't made or who for. In the space of me waiting for my order (which they forgot my coffee) they forgot someone else's coffee and got 2 others wrong

I love this costa normally but today i saw one or the male employees accidentally knocked tongs on the floor and he just picked them back and up them back up on the oven. They fell on floor surely they should be going in the wash, can’t find anywhere to leave this feedback but i probably won’t be returning to this one again.

Absolute out of control chaos, staff were un-trained wrong order, cake stale cake. Would not recommend this Costa to anyone.

good place to do some work, rather than at home. Upstairs in the corner provides a quite place to things done.

We Was served by a lovely lady who was very smiley at first and was very happy with her until the manager came over and got involved sadly the manager was rather pushy and rude and made myself and other person feel very rushed and uncomfortable turning the experience rather bad. Then to be told there was no cups for the coffee as the washer was broken and gave take away cups then the next 4 customers all received a cup and glass. There was no tissue and all round a bad experience.

Just like a lot of Costa's it has amply staff but poorly organised, takes ages to just get four drinks, pleasant array of cakes but so slow service.

Small but tidy place. Handy if you plan to go to the supermarket next door.

Huge thanks to Alex and the team for their dedication yesterday in ensuring we had a safe visit. My daughter has food allergies and although they were busy, they took time to check ingredients and clean equipment. Food and drinks were great and the team were really friendly.

Deliveroo apps I ordered breakfast. I missed the sandwich. I tried to call the store but no one picked up the phone :(

Don't think we will go there again. I have receipt, when i was at school 2 x £2.65 was £5.30, we were charged £6.30! As 2 OAPs this is a bit much especially since my cappacino was, no exaggeration, half full of froth and no sprinkles!

Alex and team provide a friendly service and pretty darn quick too, if you avoid lunchtime.

Came in the other day and the guy acted weird and mysterious towards me. Before I even got a chance to breathe he was like ‘what do you want?’ as I walked over to the cake section. How can I decide like a computer? Then as I was looking he just stood in front of me and stared at me weirdly. When he handed me my drink and food he said thanks in this really weird way.

Not busy because of the restrictions, had a Ruby hot chocolate, my favourite.

Well what can I say looked ok from outside , can't say anything about the inside as we just drove past never been there and won't ever go there I don't like coffee.

Coffee not up to my standard very sparce on milk, very nearly black. I really didb't like it.

Nice coffee but not as good as the barista at the GT Linford one. Plus the seated area is undercover which isn't as nice. But it is Costa, it is pretty standard and enjoyable

So unprofessional I have been waiting in the store for 35mins and I still haven't been served, they are rude and not serving customers, customers have walked out, they are not busy! They are just talking behind the desk and the manager is just playing around with cakes and told me to wait. I wish I can give then zero stars!! Never going here again!

We kept getting shouted at for standing too close together even though we weren't. Literally don't know what her beef was. And then when she served us she was nice as pie... but then went back to being moody again later on when we came back because we'd dropped something and wanted to check the seating area. She made my friend go all the way outside and round through the other entrance, when all she wanted to do was look at the floor. she was basically shouted at and told to leave. Luckily for us, Costa don't do a very good job of sweeping up the mess on their floors so the item we were looking for (which was worth £100) was just chilling on the dirty floor. Glad we ignored the woman and went in to find our possessions. Absolutely ridiculous and rude.

Why has Covid-19 made serving coffee so slow? Bring back your furloughed staff and bring down the queue!

The staff are phenomenal. They are super friendly and really are funny. They make the best of a bad situation and do make sure you are satisfied. I went there and there was nothing to eat left. The staff member at the time went out of her way to do something for me such as extra syrup or a shot of coffee. Was extremely nice of her to offer that. For me that shows they care.

Costas are Costas but in these uncertain times the organisation was well laid out and went smoothly . Full marks.

It's alright the prices are quite expensive but it's nice place to sit down and have a coffee and chat with people you haven't met before your friends and family when it goes opened stuffing cakes are really nice coffee and hot chocolates and nice having those that tactless really as the atmosphere I say the wallpaper and stuff and it will it's a really nice reception as well and definitely coming back when this is pandemic solo and stuff and etc in this that and the other but happy many days to when that comes and hopefully it will still be here but oh no

Reliable quality without too long a wait for it. A convenient place for a coffee and quick bite. Comfortable enough for a free minute chat and rest groom shipping centre visits.
