I popped in for a bite recently and was super impressed! The food was mostly lovely, especially the Beef in Black Bean Sauce and the Prawn Spring Onion—definitely would recommend. The service was top-notch, and the place was sparkling clean, which really adds to the vibe. I've got to mention, I'm still bummed that there wasn’t any cheesecake on the menu! Overall, a solid experience that I can't wait to repeat.

The food was incredibly dry there was many bone in my chicken curry the sweet and sour sauce stung my lips the noodles were very dry and had no flavour my hand got burned from on of there spoons there was a little amount of desserts to choose from the icecream machine wasn’t working yet again they used chicken nuggets as their salt and pepper chicken and they had barely had any food to choose from they have removed a lot of favourite foods

I don’t know how people are giving good reviews, we went last night and after paying our bill before we ate( I can see why they do it) . We struggled to find any thing worth eating , all the chicken dishes were some sort of breadcrumbed chicken chopped in squares then a sauce added , well I say sauce , more like watered down sauce. All the Indian selection was cold , the butter chicken tasted like it come straight from a fridge. The English food was a joke . Even the duck for the pancakes was boiled and smelled disgusting. I very rarely give a bad review but the only saving grace for here was the food from the freshly cooked grill was nice , prawns and fried rice. Unfortunately you pay at the start so pointless trying to get a refund, used to be quite nice here when it was Lou’s. Tables were cleared quickly so that’s something though the amount going in the bins was unreal. If you do go watch for them putting the food out to get it hot as I don’t believe the hot plates work . I hope they improve or it’s another failed eat as much as you want in Newcastle, and there’s plenty before them

Fantastic night at this restaurant last night - food fab (nothing award winning but legitimately lovely and good quality) - and service all round was outstanding - so friendly. Atmosphere and decor is lovely too. Would highly recommend to anyone - suits us with kids where preferences vary and choice is really good with the buffet.

Visited here on Saturday the 18th around 8 pm booked a table was seated quite quickly was told to wait for a service to come and take our drinks order. We waited for about 10 minutes and we was trying to get staff attention. They were not paying any attention I ended up going to the bar to order two soft drinks and was told I had to pay for the whole bill, including the food before we started Which later as I found other people paying after they had had their food I thought this was a bit unfair. The food quality in this place was not the best, especially the salt and pepper chicken which I think I must’ve seen one peace not cooked any other few pieces had black veins and dark meat inside not very appetising. There was not much food left and there wasn’t much of a choice when I asked are they cooking any more? They said no desserts were very disappointing. Ice cream machine was not working and there was a few cakes and some jelly I have been to others around the country which are a lot better and a lot cheaper when I spoke to the manager, he sort of laughed it off saying they’ve been busy very poor service.

The environment is very good, and there are many choices to eat. It is a very good place.

Second time we've been here and it was pleasant. Sunday night but still quite busy. Service initially a little slow but staff were very attentive once we got going. To be expected when it's a popular place so not a problem really. Both times we've ended up next to a table of 'characters' shall we say, the loud type, blokes.. just my luck. Mostly families and couples enjoying a good feed. Food was mostly ok, the deli section was lacking with sad slices of cheese being the only selection. The rest pretty decent, meats cooked well etc. The sweets selection was nice too, Eton mess was tasty and light, perfect after a couple of plates of buffet food. The servers were all lovely and asked if we wanted to pay the service charge, we did, we appreciated being asked and it not just being slapped on our bill at the end (as seems to be the norm now).. would go back, preferably at a quieter time. Worth the money

I always believe in sharing credit where is due. Arun was fantastic and served as us very well. Arun was very polite with an excellent attitude friendly and of course very warm welcoming. Ultimately, I find cosmos a fantastic as whole and recommend.

If I could give minus stars, I would. Food was tasteless, and the options were poor. A lot of trays were empty for periods of time. The shredded duck smelt like wet laundry, and the housing sauce was watered down. Clearly, they have no idea how to run a buffet service. Complete waste of money, would have been happier going to mcdonalds on northumberland Street, and that's a dump! Laos wernt the best, but it beat this place, hands down, anytime!!!

Great place to hangout with friends and family.

Been here quite a few times, but unfortunately it has gone down hill. The only thing I actually enjoyed was the teriyaki grill. Been to the one in Manchester quite a few times aswel and there standard has never changed.

Franklin was probably the most beautiful and talented man I’ve ever met in my life. His way with words and emotions when serving us, was tied in so swiftly with his tender personality.

I had booked a table in advance and we got there right on time with my family. Friendly staff welcomed us at the door and showed us our place. I can say that the food is amazing, people get confused about what to eat. Everything was very nice and we will definitely go again. Also, the chocolate waterfall in the dessert section is very interesting for children. Thanks...

The food was nice but not as much variety for picky eaters. Found a lot of the food was cold and while what you did have was nice they didn’t replenish the dishes quick enough so you found that you couldn’t get certain things you were looking to have. The staff were very friendly though and the place was clean.

As usual an great experience with cosmo and their staff. Lots variety of food and tasty specialy teppnki live kitchen lots of options. We enjoyed a lot with our kids. Highly recommend and would be come back soon. Merry Christmas Cosmo team 😊

Horrendous , me and the wife been ill since and I have a strong stomach , the food was shocking , poor choice , cold and tasteless , there wasn’t even any fried rice and the chicken terrible , worst I’ve had , normally i give very fair reviews but I would advice anyone to avoid this place , they certainly could put more of an effort into the selection of food

Our family of 3 adults and 2 kids went to Cosmo today we have a vegan diet so we asked at the front desk if there was anything suitable. I was taken to the buffet by the Manager who promptly pointed out which food was vegan he sincerely apologised there wasn’t a huge choice however we thought we could definitely feed our family with the few dishes on offer so we were happy to stay! Within 10 mins the manager came with a special dish the chef had cooked specially for us, which we were so grateful for and the chef came out soon after to ask if it was ok!. The food we had was delicious and we all left feeling full and happy. We were made to feel very welcome and the manager couldn’t do enough to help and also reassured us if we called before our next visit they will have more options on the buffet. The service exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return!! Thanks again!!

Really enjoyed little cosmo again. An all you can eat world buffet where the food is continuously fresh and very tasty. Steak and prawns always a hit for us as is lamb or beef platter. Only went last night and could easily go again today.
