My other half has ordered from here before but I never have until today! Wow is all I have to say. Quick delivery and I got the bbq ranch wrap with cheese bites and he got chicken strips with Perri Perri fries. Absolutely delicious and cheaper than most takeaways we’ve ordered before but superior in quality. Will be making this a regular place to order from now it did not disappoint

Delivery was 1 hr 30 minutes late. Restaurant said its delivery problem but delivery driver was very argumentative. When asked delivery driver for name he just refused, he said he is using wife’s ID.

It's nice food but not economical.

Don't know about the food just yet. But, the service is excellent and they sell Ben n Jerries (whom stopped selling in the occupied territories of stolen land in Apartheid Israel many years ago). I'm sure the food will be excellent and the presentation along with the smiles at first contact is, well, Alhamdulillah. It was the HMC app that brought me here too so thanks to all!! Oh, and a salah room is also readily available so that might just be the icing on the cake in case any brothers/sisters ever need to pray whilst short on time (obviously make sure you order food or send some business their way too). Forgot to add... Open kitchen too, so nowt to hide Alhamdulillah...

Good value for money. 1/2 chicken and chips is £6.69 at lunch, which is half the price of Nandos. You could get wings, a wrap or burger instead of the 1/2 chicken and the price can go down to £5.69. The chips are chicken shop fries. The chicken could do with longer on the grill to give it more char and the sauce has a bit more of a tang than your standard peri peri, but I enjoyed it all. Would be nice if they offered pots/bottles with extra sauce. The dine-in area is small, but very clean. Wasn’t a fan of the paper plates and wooden cutlery. You can call to pre-order.

my go-to chicken place closed recently so I've been looking for alternatives. so far this has been the best. great value and delicious. delivery was a tad late on this order, which left us with not-quite-hot-but-warmer-than-warm food. Still great though. will order again!

I ordered chicken with lemon and herd coating, it came with chilli on. The humus had hot chilli sauce on, the corn cobs were cold, mash potato cold and watery, wedges were cold, past over cooked and tasteless, rice tasted nice but cold, coleslaw ok but a bit vinegary.

The food is usually very good in here, only one little issue is that the wedges haven't tasted fresh the past couple of times. I've grew up in catering so I know some places reheat fries/wedges etc.

Really enjoyed the food. The taste and flavour does distinguish from other similar restaurants around. Definitely one for repeat orders

It's a nice place the service is good the food is nice the crispy chiken burger was nice the prices are really good it's clean and tidy inside you have a few diffrent seating option witch is nice they can add a liitle more sauce on the chiken

Been several times, staff are lovely. Everything really delicious and consistent, 100% recommend! The grilled chicken and the wings are cooked to perfection. Everything was fresh and hot when collected. Very good value for money especially if you get their Duplo Flama Platter. Side note: If you want it delivered, I wouldn’t recommend ordering through JustEat, instead use other apps like Uber Eats. The JustEat driver showed up over an hour late, so the food ended up cold and soggy.

Genuinely one of the worst kebabs I've ever eaten. Microwaved chicken crumbs smothered in chutney in a soggy naan bread.

Popped into Chilli Flames to try something new. The menu has a decent range of choices (wraps, pittas, burgers etc), but I found the design of the printed menus so incredibly odd; there are pictures of each item, but they're randomly placed on the menu so you have no idea which picture represents which description. Anyway, I ordered a pitta with coleslaw and peri chicken in a meal. The food was quite tasty; nice and hot, with good flavour. The tiny amount of coleslaw was quite lame though. The peri chips were very tasty. The food did take a very long time; there were only a few people in the shop, and everyone seemed to have a long wait, while there seemed to be plenty of staff on hand. Not very fast for fast food. The prices were okay - a little expensive for what you get, in my opinion, but acceptable for a city centre location. There's a decent amount of seating inside, the decor is fresh and the space is clean. The staff were so lovely, and I found their warm and welcoming service quite memorable!

I believe it's new, food was good. But the service is extremely slow...well it was on the day. Hopefully they can fix that and it should be a good place for a quick munch. The meal box is very good value for money.

Food quality is great , I’ve been 2 times now and food is always fresh and service is polite and friendly. Portions could be better but all companies it seems don’t offer great portions. People need to appreciate fresh food takes time , you would complain if your dish was burnt! Best fast food place in Newcastle for me. Maccies and Burger King get by on their longevity not there quality these days. Keep up the good work chilli

i had oderd from this place before the food was absolutely delicious, but today the food was very salty everything had too much of salt couldn’t taste nothing apart from the salt. I usually gave the 5* before not anymore, very disappointed

Was excited about this place since they announce their opening. First 3 orders they missed my drink, every single time. Other orders were fine (half/whole chicken), apart of the rice boxes. DON’T BUY RICE BOXES, they are a total scam. Little to no meat. Even if you pay for extra meat you’ll not get it.

This place serves Halal food. Very clean restaurant and good service.

Service can be a little slow, but rest assured everything is prepared freshly in front of you, loaded fries are pretty nice with plenty of sauce and cheese.

I got the loaded fries with beef on uber eats and the chip sizes are a laugh smallest chips I ever seen absolute scam also you get little to no meat so no point in spending almost the extra £1 for it the sauce they put on tasted horrible they also added it on the burger I got which just made it taste worse my family didn't want it after one bite but can't be wasting food besides I got it on discount so not a complete loss but anyone paying £22 just don't your going to be in world of disappointment just go to asda and make the same thing for like £15 cheaper or buy large cheesy chips for like £3 and 50p pot of spicy mayo to save even more money.

Saw from the outside and it looked good, so went inside. We were greeted by someone at the till who was friendly, handed us a flyer menu and told us to take our time as there was no rush. We went for the picante wrap and a quarter chicken, both "Hot" - and this hot actually does leave a decent burn! Both were very nice and I'll definitely be back to try something else. It would be very easy to get a healthier option here-they do a few set meals revolving around salad and chicken, or just choosing chicken and a spicy rice or steamed vegetables. Myself and my partner have been looking over this menu since we came home because we want to try something new when we go back - because we will be back. The food was great and the staff were great - there WAS a little wait for the food but I've waited longer for McDonald's in recent times so I can't hold that against them for the quality I got!

The driver was rude and laughing like something was funny. I was explaining where the building was (which was noted) and he accused me of being angry and when he asked where the building was. I thought it was very unprofessional.

First time in Chilli Flames and definitely not the last...lovely fresh handmade beef burger and excellent portion of sides. Value for money and worth it. Staff that served us was very polite and knowledgeable..we complimented him. Shout out to Newgate Street Newcastle.

The food took a while and then the lady gave me my order all packed up. Then when I got home I realised my drink was missing and a side (rice)? The food that they did not miss was okay, the chicken needed to spend longer on the grill it was rushed clearly. Not sure why the service was bad :(

Had the whole chicken with 2 sides and 2 drinks for £15.99. Everything was fresh and flavoursome. Just as good as Nandos but for half of the price. The staff were also very helpful and friendly!

If I'm completely honest, this is just an expensive Eat4Less that does some extras. It's nice and spicy but for what you're getting you can get it cheaper elsewhere. Staff were friendly and helpful when I asked questions and the food was good despite that. It's quite a small place seating wise but that probably good where it's located, in particular on a Friday/Saturday night when all the drinkers come in for food.

I purchased a quatar chicken (FIERY HOT), peri fries and a portion of spicy rice. The chicken was juicy, tender, succulent and flavourful with a good amount of heat. The fries were golden, crispy and well seasoned on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The spicy rice was fluffy, moist and flavourful. Overall it was a great meal

Usually the food from here is really nice, I decided to order the Angus mince loaded fries, never tried it before and what a waste of 33 quid! The whole thing was so tangy and oily and just so heavy and too much sauce over the top! I did not enjoy it at all and I ordered three boxes of loaded fries which all ended up in the bin! Never again!

This is really awesome place for the lover of grilled chicken and juicy grilled wings 😋😋😋😋 Very good customer service and excellent atmosphere. All type of spices available on demand.
